  I thought that it works by bridge if you click an image and select "Open" in the file menu. He works also mini bridge in photoshop, but the right-click method and "Shot cab" botton on the top of the menu of the bridge does not work.

  Oh and by the way, for all those who would read this post attempts to solve the same problem:

  SUGGESTION OF SSPRENGEL ONLY WORKS FOR CS5, FOR CS6 IT DOESN'T. SO IF YOU HAVE CS5 - CS5.5, USE THIS METHOD IF YOU HAVE CS6 DON'T BOTHER. YOU CAN LAUNCH THE CAB BY CLICKING ON THE IMAGE IN BRIDGE AND CHOOSING "OPEN" FROM THE FILE MENU. DO NOT USE THE CAB ICON OR RIGHT-CLICK MENU TO OPEN CAB RIGHT, IT WON'T WORK. YOU CAN ALSO OPEN A PHOTOSHOP ACR, AND IT WILL WORK

  Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw

  First of all, the D90 was supported in Camera Raw 5.1.

  Open Photoshop and click on Photoshop (Mac) or help (Win) > Plug-ins > Camera Raw to see what version you use.

  Photoshop CS4 comes with Camera Raw 5.0.

  Try to update Camera Raw in Photoshop to 5.7 via help > updates.

  If this does not work, try to manually edit Camera Raw

• Why can't save a .raw file edited as a .jpg file

  I use PSE 10 and with the other catalogs, I had no problem editing my files .raw (6.7version) and then open them and after the new edition, do a "save under" and save as a .jpg file in a defined version.

  now, I'm working with another set of image files and when I try to record the final edited it suggests:

  ED - 1.psd and menu drop-down lists also: psd, pdd, pse, .raw, png, and TIFF. (there are no layers in the file)

  FAQ search failed. I avague remember to have this similar problem there are other versions of PSE years but don't remember the solution. It is the first example of this problem. Other information that might help, it is according to me, this is a "convert" catalogue of PSE 8. I am running WIN 7 Prof 64 bit

  I returned to a catalogue of different previous > same computer, same PSE10 and selected a previous version of consisting of the original > raw file and saved them edited ed - 1.jpg file and selected the original .raw, complete edition open file it opens in ARW 6.7 as before, then opens the file in the editor of PSE10 and tried to save it as a .jpg file (I did obviously in the last days at the most) (not changes to the computer or programs) and it does NOT OPEN AS a file .jpg as DESCRIBED above.

  Eventually, you work with a 16-bit image. Before you click the button open an Image in the dialog box camera raw, change the drop-down list for 8-bit and you should then be able to save in jpeg format.

  I have a Macbook Air, and I have Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom installed 5.7.1. I installed the package of Camera Raw 9 and while I open my Nikon d5500 has been added was images in photoshop, I can't open it in Lightroom. When I see the compatibility 'manipulation of files' section in the Lightroom preferences, I see "Camera Raw 7.1 and later" as the most recent possible. Why I am not able to use the Camera Raw 9 on Lightroom package? How can I fix it?

  You can download and install the DNG Converter and convert your raw images not supported in DNG format, so that you can import in the current version of Lightroom.

  I've just updated to a new pc, windows 7 and installed photoshop CS4, downloaded the latest camera raw plug and everything works except that I can't see the thumbnails from camera raw in my photos.  Thumbnails appear in the bridge.  I use the canon 40 d and 7 d.  Can anyone help with this?  Thank you.

  Windows does not display thumbnails for RAW files unless you have installed the codec in windows to generate.  I'm using the FastPictureViewer codec pack on my windows system to generate thumbnails for RAW and PSD files im windows system the dialogues as Explorer files, file open, file save etc.  There are other codec packages can also be used.

Camera Raw presets are saved in a file .xmp, while the Lightroom preset to carry the .lrpreset extension. They have similar information, but the formatting is a bit different (the .xmp looks more like an XML file). Any ideas?

  I'm not sure of all the automated options or if there is a whole script, but if you apply the preset in Camera Raw (button does) then update the metadata and preview in Lightroom, you can move to the develop module and save the preset.

  In fact you can not save pictures of facebook/pinterest by any browser just by right clicking on it. You must click on this image and it will open in a new page and now right click on the image and it will be a backup image option and now your file will be jpeg. Please try and let me know.
