• Why not my PDF documents display correctly on Firefox?

  I run a web site. Recently, I've upgraded to Adobe Acrobat 11. My version of Firefox is also the most recent. Since my upgrade Adobe, Firefox will not display my PDF documents correctly. There are gaps in the text box (i.e. a few sentences here, but many are missing) this isn't a problem with explore, Chrome, Opera or Safari, so I think it's a Firefox problem. A fix is coming?

  It may take a while for changes in pdf.js to upgrade to a version of Firefox.

  This preset are you using to create your PDF documents?   I created a number of edge successfully Animation files, but I encountered a problem with a file that will not play when published or when you use the "Preview in browser". It is visible at the start but not auto play. Tips to solve this problem? Using Firefox 21.0 FWIW.

• What is interesting... fonts show correctly when it is NOT enabled

  Version 10.0.0.70 of InDesign.

  If I open a file of customers CC that I get no warning that the fonts are not active and that they display properly.

  While this can certainly be useful if the fonts are not provided, it is also potentially dangerous.

  I can package the file with fonts are packed either. Without any warning that the fonts will not be packaged.

  In fact, I saw client files sent without fonts and it was well packaged.

  I can also make a pdf with embedded fonts.

  If it is a feature, I should always be warned that "fonts are not active, but I'll be able to see the fonts correctly in this window.

  If, however, this isn't a feature, I would like to know how it works. It is reproducible on all Mac here.

  Moreover, I DO NOT have active type kit.

  Have you tried to clear font caches and reset preferences ID (see replace your preferences ). I must say that this looks a lot like these files are compressed and the package includes a folder of fonts in the Document. InDesign automatically uses the fonts contained in a folder of fonts in the Document that is located in the same place with a document, regardless if these fonts are installed elsewhere. This feature has been added in CS5

• Why not a background color shows when I export to PDF?

  So, I used a rectangle, it color and makes full page (my record is 120 x 80 mm). When the colored rectangle is small, it produces very well, but as soon as I'm size full page, it shows in white on the output PDF.

  AHA - it turns out it was a setting of accessibility in PDF that ignore the background.

  When I use googlemail, my new Toshiba Satellite L350 type properly - constantly missing letters / spaces - I have incredibly slow to check that each letter is registered on the screen. The laptop keyboard has this problem, as well as branch keyboards. No other application is affected it is to say I can type at the speed in word

  This has nothing to do with your laptop. This issue here is in the wrong place. Try to contact Google support and ask them why does this happen?
  To be honest, I noticed a similar behavior when I write emails on GMX mail. Some letters are simply not there.

  Believe me, that has nothing to do with the functionality of the laptop.

• Muse Tablet export do not update the scale/scroll correctly when FTP'd and read on the iPad.

  Although the EXACT same 'export' works perfectly in the Business Catalyst, he is down to only HALF of the screen of the iPad (on auto-redirection).  In addition, Muse guard rename images content to the smaller version but does not copy the content to these names (example: the original smallerimage.jpg file smallerimage378x476.jpg).  So, I have to open the index file in the editor just to get rid of the 378 x 476 so that the page can 'see' the content again.  UGH.

  ADOBE: We will NOT use your Business Catalyst site for all permanent hosting (overview of the customers is very good, however).  But please, give us FTP'ers of the best tools, because there should be no reason to make it work perfectly on the download of BC, but is completely screwed for ftp.

  Attached are two screenshots of the iPad displays exactly the same code after a ftp server.  As you can see, only half the size and scrolling goes completely to the low ONLY WHEN I turn iPad sideways to the view of the landscape.

  

  This is the answer I found actually in another place in the forum: you MUST include the entire export (including the top level site pages) to decide which files to ftp server.  Muse has written/updated several files, I didn't need to be uploaded to the server (since I did not change their - I thought).  Thank you!

  Users are presented with a save dialog box under the value application/x-pointplus content type or the content of the CSS file is displayed as text in the browser when a page contains a file of Style sheets cascading with the extension .css file.

  Solution

  The .css file type is not mapped to cascading style sheets in included with Enterprise Server default mime types. You can change the map on the page of global MIME Types.

  To access this page, the administrator of the server, choose Preferences from the server, the MIME Types and set the MIME type for .css to text/css instead of application/x-pointplus.

  If the problem persists, turn off keep-alive by adding "KeepAliveTimeout 0" to magnus.conf

  I use the first elements 12 on a MacBook Pro.  My movie is 32 minutes long, but it exports in 3 hours and 28 minutes long with lots of black at the end.  There is nothing in front of the 32 minutes on my calendar.  The ends of the timeline where it should and indicates the time is 32 minutes.  How can I fix it?

  You have fragments (remains) beyond the end of the content timeline that you intended.

  I'll leave a workspace Windows elements, so please translate it into Mac accordingly.

  Expand the contents of your Timeline to the maximum with the slider to Zoom Out Zoom In above the timeline.

  Press the end key on the keyboard of the computer. This should take the timeline indicator to the fragments that need to be removed.

  Explore all the tracks in this area.

  Repeat the key end until the timeline indicator stops at the end of the scheduled timeline and not some 3 hours later.

  What you'll find in "end of the trail" may be fragments or files that you have moved away from the active project and forgotten were there.

  The fragments generally as thin vertical black lines scattered on the slopes.

  If you are referring to push notifications on your desktop, you most likely have Facebook as an internet account on your MacBook. You can withdraw from your account, or disable notifications for it.

  Open system preferences > Internet accounts

  Select Facebook

  Uncheck the Notifications tab to disable the notifications or click on the "-" button to remove the account
