Why the data disappears when you click on a text box on a page of a completed form on?

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on Windows 7.

Installation: I created a doc of bid that allows the end user to complete the first page (request for quote) and auto information fills in the next 3 pages, carrying contractors names and info to separate bid documents.

Each of the contractor bid documents must out individually, so I check out them for distribution.

The problem is that the details of the offer requires sometimes scroll down in the text box, which has been activated and works well on the original document, the information disappears when you click the check box in the checked out document.

What is blow the information contained in the extracted document when you click on the text box? This does not happen in any other areas of text without scrolling.

I have never heard forward and cannot reproduce them. What the police that you use for the multiline field? It would be interesting to see a sample file if you can put a somewhere.

Something that might work is first export data from form (in FDF/XFDF), then extract the pages, reset and re-import the data in the page.

    I don't know if it's a bug, but certainly doesn't seem like it should be the case. I tried on both 64-bit and 32-bit on windows 7. Does not make this error on XP or vista.

    Can someone explain to me what is happening?

    To reproduce, in windows 7 make a file or folder, and THEN add a ".". (period) to the end of the name of the file and look at the file "disappear". It's still there, just need to refresh (F5) and it reappears (w/o of the annex "." because it's an illegal file naming convention).

    I tried to do the same thing but through command line and it always auto corrects names of files to the conventions, and correctly, it remains on the GUI, so I think that the problem is related to the graphical mode of name change

  • Need content of 1 click box to disappear when you click New click box

    I have a slide that contains three areas of click.  When the user clicks on a form additional information appears.  I want the slide so when they click on a new box click, then the contents of the box another click no longer appears.  Otherwise, the content overlaps and it's messy.

    I have 7.0 Captivate.

    I hope that you have set the settings properly, don't see that.

    It is not the click box to be rendered invisible, because it means there is not and can not have all the features. You must make the invisible text bubbles.

I can't find anything useful in the German speaking forums (there you will find only: save it on your desktop, open the with another program - not adobe, save it as a .jpg, use the preview and save/print pdf, open with photo shop and so forth but nothing works.)

    It would be good to get a link to an old solution or a useful answer.

    Is there a chance that the application overview on Mac has been used to complete and save the form? What you describe is a typical sign that it was like overview corrupts PDF forms in a number of ways. You can fix this in Acrobat if you have access to a blank form uncorrupted by exporting the form with FDF data and important in the blank form.

    Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  I could use a little clarification on your question.  Can you explain the situation in a bit more detail?  What I read, is that when you click the icon for your antivirus it basically does nothing (POP maybe a splash screen but then does not start).  Well, you say you are doing a clean boot.  This could very well be why your antivirus software does not work properly.  Clean boot disable start programs.  If your antivirus has need of one of the elements that has been turned off, which could cause the problem.  I suggest to turn off boot or go through msconfig and find everything that is related to your antivirus and turn them back on.     You have 2 possible actions: a by clicking on the button (success), a when you click outside the button (the rest of the slide) which is a failure. And you can attach an action at a time. The default action for both is 'Continue', which means that the head of reading which has been suspended by the button, will continue. You don't want that to happen if the user clicks on the button, but outside the key (like by clicking in the field ETB). This is the reason why recommended Manish allows you to change the action for failure to 'No action', which means that nothing will happen if the user clicks outside the button. He can then click in the text field and type its entry.

  • Photo not added to the quick Collection when you click marker

    Recently I have not been able to add photos to a quick collection, when you click on the marker. The marker provides information, but the photo does not appear in the quick collection. This problem occurred at the same time, I couldn't remove the photos in the quick collection that had been added. I had to remove these photos using the menu system. I've upgraded to the new version of Lightroom 5 yesterday thinking that would solve the problem. I still have the problem so I wonder if this is a setting that I missed. Quick collection markers button is enabled in the display options and the button and change when you click them... The thumbnail of the photo is not added to the quick collection.

    It seems that you no longer have the quick Collection, referred to as a collection of target. Is there a small symbol '+' next to the name of the collection? If this isn't the case, you have another collection in your designated collection list.

    To fix, right-click the name of the quick Collection and click the option "set as target Collection.

    Hi all

    If I said 7 buttons, each with text that changes color on turnover by using 'Up' 'Over' and 'Down' of the keyframes in the timeline buttons.  Is there a simple way to get the text of the button changes color when you click on it, stay that way, and then back to the original color once one of the other 6 buttons are engaged?

    The only thing I can get to prepare code pages for each button that changes the color of every other button regardless of whether it was active.

  • Why I see my data in the data pane when you use a newly created schema?

    I am trying to learn Oracle DB at home. I installed Oracle DB Express 11.2 and Developer SQL 4.0.3. I can connect to the database, the communication between SQL and Oracle DB Express Developer works well.

    It is probably a problem with Oracle database, but since I see it in SQL Developer, I'll ask it anyway.

    If I log in the HR demo schema (in line with the developer of 2 days) and create a new table called OFFICERS with some fictional characters for the data and populate it with the data through the data for HR pane. AGENTS, I can see in the table of retail Developer SQL tab of the component data. I see the column headings for the columns I've created on the top, then the line numbers for each line that I created and the data in each row.

    Now I have created my own personal schema, for example MYNAME and then connected to this schema and tried to repeat the above process. I can create the table with the columns by using the new table Wizard. But once the table exists, and I go to the tab of the Panel data on the detail of the Table, I see nothing. No column header. When I hit the insert a row button in the tab of the component data, I see a marker + 1 appear, but I have nothing to click to enter data as I did with HR. OFFICERS.

    Now, if I go to the SQL worksheet for embarrassing MYNAME schema and make some INSERTs, COMMIT and a query, for example

    Why I see data in the pane the HR data. Table tab detail OFFICERS, but I do not see the headers of column or data in the USERNAME data pane. AGENTS? I can see fine columns in the columns pane, but not data in the data pane.

    I looked at all the privileges that I know look, and MYNAME has at least the same privileges as HR. Any thoughts?

  • Why focus/cursor selects the address bar when you click in a new page?

    This happens all the time, but most of the time... When I browse a site by clicking on the links, whenever a new page load the address bar is chosen to start typing. When I go to scroll down (using the down arrow/page keys) he'll scroll rather recent page URL in the address bar, instead of scrolling to the bottom of the page.

    It is possible that you have a filter attribute application that shows only photos that are not reported?

    With this central indicator switched on you will see photos 'unmarked '. The result: press [P] and they disappear.

  • Text in a text box disappears when you click on outside the text box

    I work on a Macbook Pro in 10.7 Lion.  I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro.

    I create a text and type the words in the text box.  As soon as I click outside of the text box, the text in the text box disappears.  The text box is still there.  As soon as I click inside the text box text is displayed again.  I confirmed that the text is black.

    I've seen several posts on the same problem but none of the solutions I've seen work.

    It's so frustrating to think I am giving up Adobe Acrobat X Pro and using a free PDF program using Windows 7 in Parallels on my Macbook for editing.  Given how much cost Acrobat X Pro, I'm pretty fed up with Adobe in general.

    I followed a link to a solution for editing the registry in Windows, but I don't know how to do this on a Mac.  In addition, it is simply absurd that Acrobat X Pro is totally useless for a simple PDF document editing.  This is not a form.  It is a PDF document with any of the other fields.  I just want to add text.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Well, there are a lot of things here. Part of the confusion is the different terms that are used, and where you posted. Although you have confirmed that you do not work on a form, you DID post on the forum of forms, so it is not surprising that you have lots of advice on the forms.

    I think I discovered something by looking at your file and experimentation. You add text, probably the only way you've found to this day. It's something rather old and creaky called "typewriter tool", who use not as much today. However, in Acrobat X, it is easy to find under "adding or editing text box. What you add is not like a regular text on the page, it's really a sort of commentary.

    There are many more types of comments comment, including much more powerful tools for adding text tab. You may find you prefer these, but let's look at the problem of the typewriter.

    Your problem is that your comments are opaque, less than 1%. It is slightly transparent, and so they are invisible. How has it happened? Don't know, but I have a guess. Is not serious, I have a fix. The problem is that this thing of opacity is a real parameter but without tools for setting it. Now it is defined, we must get rid of him somehow.
