Width height component custom

Hello!

IM building a mobile app, so im trying to adapt and application for different mobile optimization.

My problem is that I don't know how to resize a custom component I made, when canging orientation or the device.

IM in my opinion I have the component:

< components: MyComponent / >

In this pane , there is just a fxg in illustrator:

<? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? >

" < = xmlns:fx s:View ' http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009 "

xmlns:s = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" title ="MyComponent" xmlns:assets = "assets.*"> "

< fx:Declarations >

<! - Place non-visual elements (e.g., services, items of value) here - >

< / fx:Declarations >

< assets: MenKshirt / >

< / s:View >

If I follow these steps:

< active width="90%"/: MenKshirt >

She is properly scaling in the piece, but not im bird:

<? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? >

" < = xmlns:fx s:View ' http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009 "

xmlns:s = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" title = 'Bird' xmlns:component = 'rate' >

< fx:Declarations >

<! - Place non-visual elements (e.g., services, items of value) here - >

< / fx:Declarations >

< component: MyComponent / >

< / s:View >

How can I do?

Thank you very much!

I would recommend affecting the size of the components of width = "100%" height = "100%" and then inside this component, you can calculate what size do the things inside based on the width/height, he is given and the proportions as you want to keep.  Here's a simple example (buggy):

http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009.

xmlns:s = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark".

"xmlns:local =" * ">

private var targetAspectRatio:Number = 2;

protected function group1_resizeHandler (): void

{

get the parent of the target size

var parentWidth:Number = this.width;

var parentHeight:Number = this.height;

var parentAspectRatio:Number = parentWidth / parentHeight;

start with the size of the target adjusted to being the same as the parent

var adjustedTargetWidth:Number = parentWidth;

var adjustedTargetHeight:Number = parentHeight;

so if the elongation of parent and the source does not match we

want the width or the height of the source to the equality of the parent company

size, then set the other correctly

If (targetAspectRatio > parentAspectRatio)

adjustedTargetHeight = parentWidth / targetAspectRatio;

on the other

adjustedTargetWidth = parentHeight * targetAspectRatio;

Target.Width = adjustedTargetWidth;

Target.Height = adjustedTargetHeight;

}

  • Create an Animation of edge capable of evolving with fluid width/height within a Web site

    Hello world

    I could be missing something really simple here, and frankly I would happily have egg on my face if somebody can tell me the solution.

    I am inserting an adobe Edge Composition in a Web site of fluid HTML5 with basic content (using Dreamweaver), right...?

    Everything seems to work fine until reduce you the site... like the scales of the page toward the bottom of the scale of composition of edge too, which is great! Except that the composition of edge leaves an empty space below its original height! So my question is, how do I get the height to do not leave a blank in his height when he evolves down? Here's what I've tried so far...

    1. Check the width/height of the composition animate edge has the value % including the element of the scene and all it's components
    2. Tried to adjust the height to 'auto' for the CAO of the object inside dreamweaver - this does not seem to be very 'auto' at all and just gives a default height which is not enough to see everything anyway.
    3. Changed parameters min/max
    4. Tried scaling javascript method of http://sarahjustine.com/2013/04/08/create-scale-to-fit-projects-with-Adobe-edge-animate/ Works fine, but also leaves white space under the file when placed in a website with content and updated on the scale
    5. Height adjustment of the border object in DW using CSS, it is close, but it is more sensitive to certain resolutions, I'm after a quite fluid solution.

    Surely I'm missing just something simple? Someone at - it an example of this working properly inside a web page with the content of Basic for example? As most of the examples edge doesn't go beyond the tests just the animated project of edge by itself in a browser, in which case this seems to work perfectly too.  I need of them being placed in a website, for example the image sliders made with edge, which can evolve within a Web site base fluid.

    This should be a post on the Dreamweaver Forum, but I have to start somewhere, thanks in advance for your time.

    Thank you

    Hey guys,.

    So what you see is a browser associated CSS problem. application of a transformation recalculates the size of the item (#Stage), which is why the elements listed under don't reflow.

    When the tutorial in writing is one of the first things I spotted (and THE MORE boring to understand) but the code included in the example files in the tutorial that recalculates the container parent of the scene is placed in. If your code should look like this to make it work properly:

    (the are just there for reference.)

    If you download the example on the page tutorial files I have also included the demo HTML files with embedded in the page Animate composition. Take a look at this code, and it should give some additional information.  Basically, you just wrap the scene in another div and you should be fine.

  • SWFLoader and access the width/height

    Hello

    I have an AS3 swf I am trying to integrate within a Flex 3 application.  The problem is that I need to know the size of the width/height available from inside the swf file.  When the swf file is embedded in a Web page, I can easily access it by stage.stageWidth, but in the case of an embedded swf, it doesn't because the scene is of the entire application and not only my swf.  Is anyway in my swf embedded to understand these values?

    Thank you!
    Christie

    If the embedded SWF has been loaded via SWFLoader, then this.parent.parent.parent.width (and height) of the file integrated SWF will give you what you want.

  • native of webcam capture width / height

    the capture of width and height native always seems to be 128 x 128.  How can I change this?  It takes a culture square of the camera and who publishes under the flow.

    also, I don't understand what resolutionFactor done.  What are the three values of width and height native?  is the parameter resolutionFactor = 3 for a capture of 128 x 128 translates into a 384 x 384 resolution?  No matter what I put resolutionFactor to, when I check the flow coming in the nativeWidth/nativeHeight is always 128 x 128.

    can you help me to clarify this point?

    Specifies the resolution factor data entered; ResolutionFactor values range from 1 (lowest resolution) to 10 (highest resolution). Resolution factor gets multiplied by width and height of camera captured native. We provide three values width and height from native of reports l / h. The width and height when it is multiplied by this factor, given the resolution.

    Hi Adam,.

    If you look at the source code of StreamManager.as in the source of Player 9 that we provide, we have three set of values for the native aspect. I copy here

    /**

    • @private

    */

    public static const 144 = AR_PORTRAIT_W:Number;

    /**

    • @private

    */

    public static const = 112 AR_PORTRAIT_H:Number;

    /**

    • @private

    */

    public static const = 128 AR_STANDARD_W:Number;

    /**

    • @private

    */

    public static const = 128 AR_STANDARD_H:Number;

    /**

    • @private

    */

    public static const = 160 AR_LANDSCAPE_W:Number;

    /**

    • @private

    */

    public static const = 96 AR_LANDSCAPE_H:Number;

    By default, we use the standard for nativeWidth and nativeHeight, i.e. 128 and 128 values. When you specify a factor of monitors, native width and height does not change, but the capture of width and height is multiplied by the factor in

    camera.setMode (StreamManager.ARSTANDARD_WresolutionFactor, StreamManager.AR_STANDARD_H resolutionFactor, _fps);

    So, if you set the resolution factor 3 it will do for standard

    _camera.setmode (128,3, 1283, _fps); Although native width and height remains the same.

    If you want to change them, you must override the createMyStream function in WebcamPublisher.as and change the nativeWidth and the nativeHeight (the code is the same for 9 and 10, so even if you use Player 10 swc, you can reference this function 9 source), but you don't need to make native width and height, simply by changing the resolutionFactor should change the width/height of capture for you.

    Please see updateSettings and createMyStream functions in the source code of WebcamPublisher.as for clarity.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you

  • All webcam width/height and determine the connection type

    Hi, two quick questions:

    1. is there a way in ActionScript to determine what type of connection is used (e.g., P2P or FMS)?

    2. is there a way to set the width/height of the image of the webcam? I currently have to extend the WebcamPublisher class to access the instance of _camera and use the Camera.setMode () method, but it seems that that has no effect whatsoever.

    Thanks in advance,

    Michiel

    PS: I am aware of the captureWidthHeightFactor method, but I really do not like this approach, as it is not clear what dimensions are used for the video. I would like to determine the dimensions of myself, as when you use the Camera.setMode () method.

    For your share of width and height, you can use APIs of resolutionFactor in webcamPublisher as captureWidthHeight that API is deprecated. Height and the default width is multiplied.

    And again, if you want to set your own native height/width, since you already are subclassing WebcamPublisher, subclass just the createMyStream function and add your native width and height. See this function in the source code 9 WebcamPublisher player provided.

    One thing I forgot to mention in the last post, you have P2P with player 10 and you must use the Player 10 SWC for any verification of P2P. Player 9 will always be FMS.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you

  • How to determine the width/height of the text

    Hello.

    I created the layout of text format and text flow.

    I must now determine the width/height of the container is adjusted exactly to the text.

    Is it possible to get the width/height of the text before creating the container controller?

    Thank you.

    It depends on what effect you are trying to get. If you want the text to go and not wind, you can set the width and height "Nan". To get the actual width and height that has been used, you call getContentBounds(). But if you wanted the text, you must select a thickness to wrap up in and then to get the required width used account height. If the latter case to work, you could create a controller with a width you specify, but let the height as "NaN".

  • [Flex 4] calculate the width/height of online or with function bindable component

    What I want to achieve is something like these two examples (it does not work, it's just the idea):

    (1) online

    < s:Group id = "main" width = "100%" height = "100%" minWidth = minHeight "950" = "650" >

    < s:Group width = "100%" height = "{If (main.height < main.minHeight) {return (main.minHeight-;)} else footer.height {return (main.height - footer.height ;)})}" > ")}}"

    < / s:Group >

    < s:Group id = "footer" width = "100%" height = "50" >

    < / s:Group >

    < / s:Group >

    (2) somehow set the calculation to the outside in a function maybe like this:

    [Bindable] (as it seems to work, but the compiler generates error that there should be some event specified as this [Bindable(event="someEvent")]name, but then it does not work)

    public Function calcHeight (): number {}

    If (main.height < main.minHeight) {}

    return (main.minHeight - footer.height);

    } else {}

    return (main.height - footer.height);

    }

    }

    < s:Group id = "main" width = "100%" height = "100%" minWidth = minHeight "950" = "650" >

    < s:Group width = "100%" height = "{calcHeight ()}" >

    < / s:Group >

    < s:Group id = "footer" width = "100%" height = "50" >

    < / s:Group >

    < / s:Group >

    It must be something very simple... but I've been Googling for it for 2 hours now and I could not find what I was looking for. Help please

    So that the first option (online) working, you can use a short variant of if-else:

    height = "{hand. Height < main.minHeight? "{main.minHeight - footer.height: main.height - footer.height}.

    Note the sequence < : MXML is just an XML file, < and=""> (and other symbols) have a special meaning and must be escaped. But it is a ugly looking code and you should avoid that.

    Now at atchieve you can use option 2: create a function. The reason why it doesn't work for you, it is to bind a function, you need a custom event. In your case you can listen on main.heigh, main.minHeight, and footer.height properties propertyChange events or resize event on the hand and who knows what else. It is unnecessary and difficult.

    If my interpretation of what you're trying to atchieve is correct, this should do the trick.

    Or you could do it like this (I prefer this variant):

    As you can see, no data binding or listening to all kinds of events and customized shipment that aren't necessary. Correct use of containers and layouts can save your day.

    See you soon,.

    Michael

    PS You should really look at things in a simple way somehow.

  • The screen can be cropped in and exported a report width / height custom?

    I think I need a Prime Minister to do something that it simply was not designed to do. Do I have to do is take five or six other screen and audio capture of the same event (a 3D virtual reality teaching session), each representing another person of this event view, assemble in a split screen, synchronize audio Delete, the capture of 'main' designated the other audio tracks and add a title CG labelling each one. The effect is like watching a screen showing six images from security cameras. I know it is possible to do these things first.

    However, I then have to do is to cut back on all extra space on the left and right of this image of the split screen and export the file as a .mov format of image produced by cropping so that videos are as broad as possible and are not deformed resize in order to fit standard proportions. Depending on the size of the screencaps, the .mov that results can have almost a 1:1 ratio. What is essential for this is that the video be as big as possible and the 'black' to be space as small as possible, so that the person who comes in later to analyze these composite videos see just as clearly as possible. I also need to refocus on the fly; because these images are not always captured in the same size, it is impossible to screening a size for the video.

    We used a tool of screenshot to do what works, but a pain; clips can be moved and resized by mouse-dragged, and the software to import and export from its own format owner, which is very slow. However, piece of video editing software 'true' I looked only ever seems to export in formats TV or film. QuickTime Pro looked a bit like the best bet, but it doesn't seem to be able to manage several audio tracks (which are necessary, since I have to synchronize tracks by ear most of the time).

    Is what I'm describing - exporting files .mov while preserving the custom extensions created by cropping when editing - something the Prime Minister can do? If so, it would be something easy enough for beginners to do?

    Hello

    > Why it does not work when the component is not in a library of thought

    The application code is not "compiled". A CFC is final compiled code, so design mode can load and display. I think that it won't work in an application's performance. Things will need to be recompiled constantly since there is no compc compiler in an application.

    The extra leg, that I am referring is in Design view extensions. There are in fact extended components that implement the API they use in Design mode. It's a glorified built-in Flash Player.

    It's a complication bit, I intend writes a blog on sooner rather than later.

  • Get the width/height of the current image / information of KING of user input

    Hello

    I have two problems:

    First of all:

    Y at - it an option to get the width and height of the image to use for calculations or set a return on investment for the right settings?

    Second (more complicated):

    I have used Labview 8.5 custom interface (see the interface.jpg attachment).

    I am trying to get the return on investment of the Interface and use it in my app Builder of Vision, but I don't see the return on investment or its size or position or something...

    Is it possible to get this information from the Interface?

    Information:

    I use Vision Builder 2009 SP1, LabVIEW 8.5

    Thanks for your replies!

    Hello

    I missed that when I tested it... the display image control must have been larger than the size of the image and the property node returned the value that I expected.

    A restriction of the VI to Interface custom that you create in LabVIEW, is that it cannot have any dependencies (call any subgroup screws), other than the methods and the nodes property of the objects you put on. Therefore, I can't just call IMAQ GetImageSize her. So it does not seem possible at this point for the VI of custom Interface return the size of the image.

    The solution, at this stage, to get the size of the image of the Interior Vision Builder AI, is to use a step in LabVIEW Run, calling a simple VI that takes an image as input, called IMAQ GetImageSize and return res X and Y.

    Note that for purposes of distribution, when you call a VI using a LabVIEW execution step, you must save it as a source distribution in a Bachelor's degree in LAW and you must redistribute this llb with your inspection. See using setup step run LabVIEW for more details.

    Sorry there is no better way to do this now.

    Best regards

    Christophe
