• Is it possible for 2 or more FxV strike filters to change the same custom field?

  Hello

  is it possible to have 2 (or more) FxV hit update the same custom field filters?  I know that the filters 2 or more successful can update the same metric, but not what I need.

  I have a filter tube set for each stage of a procurement process of several steps (such as beginning, calculateOrder, processPmt).

  In the first filter of success, I have extracted something similar to a username.  That the same info is in the other two hit filters for each step of the process.  If the FxV user performs a search on the 3rd filter, that is processPmt, then in results research they won't see all of the data that in are extracted by the first hit (start) filter.   So I tried to add a custom field to the 3rd hit filters which also extracts the data of the user ID and her add her to the same custom field, but it won't let me because this field is already used.

  Mark,

  I can be missing what you are trying to do, but you should be able to use a custom field in another filter of success.  You want to ensure that you choose the name already in use, as opposed to the 'new custom field".  So for the update/addition to hit the 'user name' field, you'd like this screenshot.

  

  You set the condition and choose setting the value to append or reset as you wish.  And then save the filter hit.

  Was what you were trying to do, or something else?

  As I said use custom filters to read the parameter when the user clicks on the link for the site of CA and set the site context.

  You can store a cookie that determines the site for subsequent applications.

• Text that develop with the expandable text field

  I created a form using Livecycle Designer. I have 2 questions;

  1. how to create repeating fields.

  2 it is the text before and after the extensible text field, how the texts after the text growable field 'navigate' the text growable field. (when the user starts to fill the field expand the text after the demon of the text is expected to grow to the right as the text field.)

  3. how to create the text field in double capture / will reflect whatever the user type in a field in another text field without filling actually twice.

  For Q1 and 2 there is something called a field floating allow you to merge the data in a text block and reflow to remove all spaces in the block. This is available only when the data are merged on the form. This isn't an interactive field. Once the data are merged, it is transformed into a block of static text.

  For Q3, this is a case to assign a value to another.

  FieldNameofTargetField.rawValue = OriginalFieldName.rawValue;

  This code must be run on an event related to the original material. In general the exit event is used for this purpose. So when the user leaves the field, the target field will be updated with what was typed in the original field.

• CF9/Solr: limitation of the cfindex custom fields

  On CF9, using Solr, I am indexing a database query, but as Verity in the present and previous versions of the CF, there is a limitation on the number of custom fields that I can index.  I know that the limitation is with the cfindex tag Solr is able to index whatever fields are specified in the schema.xml file.

  A solution, I have in mind is to change the schema.xml file by adding all custom fields, I need and can index my content using Solr (post.jar?) instead of cfindex.  The cfsearch tag should return any new fields, not only the more personalized 4.  Has anyone tried to do this?  Should what command I call to index content directly through Solr?

  Alternatively, does anyone else have other suggestions for workaround?

  Depending on your needs, you may be too complicate things.  Simply because that offers only CUSTOM1... CUSTOM4 does not mean that you must only have a subkey by CUSTOMn attribute value.  You can put whatever you want in these values, for example: lists the subkeys; serialized structs or keys, etc.

  I agree that it is less than ideal of how Solr support has been implemented, but you will probably be able to get to work for you in this case.

• Subform with table with the expansion of fields - please help!

  I am a new user of LiveCycle Designer ES and need help with a form.  I made so many changes in the form I've now lost track and don't know where start set the following two questions:

  • The shape itself is a Master Page that needs repeating, based on the amount of data entered.  This is not the case.
  • In the form is a Table to the expansion of the fields.  That's when the last field is full that I need a new page created.
    • Also, as the table grows, it overwrites the footer, which is a subform.  The footer is set to have a top margin (. 25).

  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  I'm the pages of a Japanese website and then download by saving to files. Sometimes after a request, a page without relevant content is returned. My guess is that the requested URL is not coded correctly.
  Sometimes, the requested page is returned without any problem. According to the api URL:

  because the bad character is in the query string, a fake url probably will not cause a 404 error. What do you think is impossible allows to encode that character before inserting it into the url string.

  Now I have to add another filter for the same attribute of research with or condition, how can I do this...

• Connecting the Image with the XML schema field

  I have a requirement that I'm working on which would require me to generate dynamic PDFS so that the text as well as images in the PDF must depend on the input XML I get. So in this respect, my question is how can I link an image with an element field in the example of XML data or with an element in the schema. Because of this feature supported by the tool. Generated PDF can have dynamic images in them.

  Any help in this direction would be greatly appreciated.

  On the BlackBerry, I want to display a dialog box 'Add a contact' with some fields filled.

  just as an idea: maybe you have to make contact before the opening of the new message notice?
  otherwise it is not possible, you will need to write your own GUI to change the fields in contacts.

• Automatic scrolling of text possible in combination with the text form field

  We would like to know if it is possible to align the text automatically with a form field that can contain different amounts of characters.

  For example:

  We have a form with a text field for currency at the end of a paragraph of text. The period to mark the end of the sentence should always be printed just behind the currency field. For now, the comma character has a fixed place, just outside the scope of the currency field. It doesn't look good when the currency field contains only 2 characters (due to the white space).

  Is there a solution to this problem?

  It is only possible if the time text is also part of a text field, preferably the same one. You can use a format or script validation to automatically add this custom text to text from the user, assuming that it is a fixed value or you can know in advance. If it is a value entered by the user, then it becomes almost impossible to do it gently.

• JavaScript works only not with the names of fields with clues

  In this case, I might want to write code to make each pair or exclusive checkboxes.  It was very easy to do with my previous cases, which all had unique names.  But now my JavaScript does not work.  It works very well in FormCalc, but I would like to know why this does not work in JavaScript, since I have other calculations more complex to do soon for which I need JavaScript.

  JavaScript is the problem?  He will manage these types of clues in the names of the object?  If it will not directly deal with indices, is there something I can do to work around it?
