Please check the Internet connection before you download Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

  • Disable the authentication proxy servers. (If your computer is located behind a proxy authorization server, disable it).
  • Check the firewall settings. (If your computer is behind a firewall, make sure that the firewall is not blocking the installation.)

Run the cleanup tool: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs

You restart the computer & then try to download Adobe Acrobat Reader DC using this link: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC install for all versions

    Please open the monitory of activity by going to Applications > utilities on your Mac. You can search any processes with the name of SAFARI COULD HISTO and close it. More detailed instructions can be found here: error with Adobe products: close the following applications.

    Also, make sure you reinstall your CS5.5 disc or direct download. If you use Time Machine or similar backup to restore your programs on your computer reformatted, you may encounter issues. Adobe programs do not correctly migrate due to hidden files permissions.

    Let us know if that fixes the problem reinstall CS5.5or if you need assistance.

    I have Firefox 32 bit & 32-bit Java and Flash Player 32-bit, but there are 64-bit versions. I'm under win 8.1 with all the latest updates installed (except internet exlorer for which I ignore updates).

    You need Plugins 32-bit with 32-bit Firefox just as you need the 64-bit with 64-bit Firefox Plugins.

    There is no Firefox Win64 for release yet however the Win64 on beta channel is finally being supported from Firefox 38.0 b # so does that mean 38.0 Firefox can be probably earlier for a Win64 version.

    (by Oracle support) Unless you have a reason not to, the top/most late driver version is preferable because it will last bug fixes.

  • Only https links work. Never installed security software. Never messed with the settings of internet connection. Refreshed Firefox. No joy.

    Firefox worked like a dream for as long as I got - until two days ago.
    It suddenly stopped linking to http sites. Still works for https sites, however.
    This problem does not exist in Safari (but I prefer Firefox!).

    Some dig and can already tell you that:

    (3) connection Wifi is strong and fully functional (as it has always been)

    Have the same problem on many newer MacBook Pro:
    OS X (Mountain Lion) 10.7.5
    Memory: 4 GB

    Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
    Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
    All of these programs have free versions.

    Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

    Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

    Try the following and see if it helps.

    Method 1:

    I suggest you to disable the popup blocker and check if it helps.

    a. open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then click Internet Explorer.

    b. click on tools, click on pop-up blocker and then click block pop-up windows settings.

    (c) in the address of website to allow box, click the Web site that you want to remove from the list and then click on remove.

    d. Repeat step C for each Web site that you want to remove from the list of Web sites that display pop-up ads. When you are finished, click Close.
