    Hello

I had a problem when you try to restore my Dell Inspiron 17R in a factory reset of the it comes with Windows 7. I try factory reset or restore a picture made to an earlier point in time, I encounter the error '0x400110020000100A' in just a few steps, and the system restarts again. I don't mind losing all the data and am completely at my wits end I don't mind to do a clean install either. How should I proceed?

    Thank you.

  • I get startup repair screen when I try to boot my laptop from dell inspirion windows 7, I run the scan and detects any errors. When I ran repair usb key received the error 0x400110020000100A

I get startup repair screen when I try to boot my laptop Dell Inspiron windows 7, I run the scan and detects any errors. So, I tried to use a USB repair for a laptop Dell Latitude Windows 7 pro and I still can't the computer to start. Tried to restore to the factory settings, can not. I have no image, backups, all missing, restore points?

After that I tried to launch the USB repair I got 0x400110020000100A error code and I received error (0x8007027E) indicating the device will not start without a reboot.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm not computer illiterate, but am not pro either. Just use them not program them or even understand all languages!

Dell Inspiron laptop about 4-5 years.

    Running windows 7 Home Edition.

Does not start little matter what I tried.

If I remember correctly, I looked in MS-DOS mode and noticed that it said something like "x: win...» "that seemed strange to me because I thought that it should say"c: victory... "but as I said I am not a computer wiz so if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.

I'm about to rip the hair off my head with my laptop. My latitude was blue planned, surprisingly I fixed it (don't ask how, you couldn't tell). Then my dell inspiron would not start right after my dell latitude fell out of my truck and landed on the sidewalk, wanted to kill the person, the screen is broken. I can use it but it is very difficult, see a mosquito net and not perfectly clear, works well. lol someone knows somewhere or that would install a new screen for a reasonable price? I live in the Boston area.

Back to the laptop won't start not, when I ran repair USB key received the error 0x400110020000100A

    Hello

Thank you for the update on the issue. I appreciate your time and effort in resolving this issue.

You can try the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

You can use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows recovery environment (Windows RE) to troubleshoot and repair the following items in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    • A master boot record (MBR)
    • A boot sector
    • A Boot Configuration data (BCD) store

Note: When you are troubleshooting startup issues by using the Windows RE, you should first try the Startup Repair option in the System Recovery Options dialog box. If the Startup Repair option does not resolve the problem, or if you must troubleshoot more steps manually, use the Bootrec.exe

Use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows recovery environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/927392

If the problem persists, proceed to method 2.

    Method 2:

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Tool command prompt open in the mode of the Windows recovery environment .
    2. You will see X:\Sources
    3. Type chkdsk c:\ at the flashing prompt to launch the utility Chkdsk. replace c:\ with the letter of the drive that you want to run the Chkdsk utility. If the hard drive is d:\, then type that instead.
    4. After the "chkdsk c:\. "insert \f command to fix errors on the disk volume or the \r to recover bad sectors and then press ENTER.
    5. Restart the computer once the chkdsk command has completed.

Note: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive, it attempts to repair this sector, if all available on which data may be lost.

  • "Error 0x400110020000100A if this problem persists, contact HP support.

I bought the system of HP recovery disks for my Pavilion dr9225nr and bought a new HDD on their request, because my first attempt to install the recovery image has ended up with the same error code. So I now have a new hard drive HP supplied recovery of image DVD and still get the same error. When I contact HP, they want me to pay $59 for a one-time service charge to solve my problem. Does anyone know what is this error and how can I solve this problem?

I can't access the old hard drive at all. I have before my first attempt to recover with the discs of recovery but after that when it goes to start screens black with just a cursor or 'missing Boot Manager.

Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated...

I saw that others have problems with the recovery discs, especially Vista recovery disks - not really why. Most of your Vista drivers will work on Windows 7. You can explore disks and find installers. Or you can download the drivers for your model support page. I searched but could not find one for the model you specified-dr9225nr-are you sure it's the right model?

Once you are of course good model number checking Service label fixed on the bottom you can find your support page using the button at the top of this page titled 'support & drivers '.

  • Recovery disk ID #?

HP Pavilion Elite m9340f desktop PC

I get the 0x400110020000100a error code. When I try to use the original recovery disk. My question is, is the version on the recovery disk identifier must correspond to my CANDIDACY on my HP computer.

Yes, or recovery disk number should be higher. In other words, if your APPLICATION is the same except for the last digit, then recovery should work if the disc number is higher than the PC. If the number of PC is higher than the disk, then the recovery almost certainly won't work.

Also important to mention is that HP recovery sets of disks that you create from the PC are unique to this PC and won't work on another HP product.

  • BIOS lack internal hard drive boot option

I had problems with my computer gives me an error message 'Operating system not found' on initialize toward the top.  I knew that my hard drive was almost at full capacity, so I decided to install a new hard drive with more capacity, a Seagate Momentus 500 GB.  From what I read he appeared as my computer to recognize the new hard drive automatically, but it does not only and does not initialize.  When I go to boot options in the BIOS Phoenix, he mentions only: F10 and F12 Delay (s) [0], CD-ROM Boot [Enabled], boot floppies [Enabled] and starting adapter [Disabled] internal network.  However, the boot order lists: portable hard drive USB floppy, ATAPI CD/DVD ROM, USB disk on key, USB hard disk drive, and! Network adapter.  Would it be the BIOS Boot Option which is at the origin of the new hard drive is not being recognized?  I can't find where in the BIOS I can add this option in, or so that it can detect the new hard drive.

When I put my Vista recovery disc in, it will load, but when I select Yes for "reset your system to factory settings" and it starts to reformat the hard drive Windows partition, it returns immediately with error '0x400110020000100A '.

Anyone can shed some light on this problem?  Any help is appreciated!
