11i - objects have not generated successfully

I'm working on a Linux system and try to upgrade this instance of 11.5.10.2 Dev to a system more up-to-date (replace jinitiator with SUN JRE).
Relatively new to manage a suite of e - Biz and after executing adpatch apply 6241631 - 11i. ATG_PF. H.RUP7, I got this error on my server of forms/States.
Tell workers to quit smoking...

All workers have quit smoking.

The following Oracle Forms objects have not generated successfully:
the FNDCONC.pll resources
An error occurred during the generation of the Oracle Forms library files.
Continue as if it was successful [No.]:

Now, I didn't know if I should have answered YES or NO to the question or if that matters at this point.
I know that I can go to $APPL_TOP/admin / < SID > / log in and check my files adwork*.log but I didn't really get something from them.
So my question is can I run adadmin and try and redo the link:
2. maintain the Applications files menu
1 connect the Applications programs
then choose ' to the ' or something like that or is there a command line argument, I should use to just try to "recompile" FNDCONC.pll?

Hello

Sorry, for the following two questions, you answer no (instead of Yes). Then, enter Yes for "Form Oracle PL/SQL library files" only.

You want to regenerate the menu files Oracle Forms [Yes]?
You want to regenerate the executables Oracle Forms [Yes]?

Enter to generate forms, or 'all' [all]:

Stop the current session by typing "abort" then repeat adadmin since the beginning (not to go to the previous session when you are prompted to do so).

Thank you

I select 'all' before had your answer, and now it would sometimes take to generate all.

It should be OK to select all files. However, it should be sufficient to select the forms listed above only.

    Fix you the error?

Make sure you have no invalid items in the database and you have followed all the steps in the patch README file and applied all the patches of pre - req.

I wonder to install Windows updates. I do and I am told they have installed.  When I have to restart my computer, I get a message that the updates have not been configured correctly. The system then returns. Next time I turn on the computer I get a message saying that updates have not been successful.  This has happened for months. I think that my computer is very slow because of it. I also think that my computer is a little short on memory. It is an Inspiron 530 with 1 GB memory

We suggest to create a new backup of the operating system to ensure that you will have a complete recovery Image. Since you get an error message that "backup have not installed successfully", it is possible that the backup created on your drive is damaged.

  • Windows has not stopped successfully

My computer 'blue screens' in fact black, with the message "windows have not stopped successfully" and the choice of starting in safe mode, normal, etc.. How can I fix it.

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes to the computer before the show?

    2. do you get any specific error code then the closure of your PC?

    Follow the steps mentioned below:

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

Safe mode, start Windows in a limited State, where only the essential is started. If a problem does reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and basic device drivers and services as causes possible

Start your computer in safe mode with networking

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    Step 2:

If the question does not exist in safe mode, and then start the clean boot computer to determine if a third-party program is causing the problem. To configure your computer to clean boot see the following link.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7 in the article to start on normal startup.

    Method 2:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 3:

    Check a drive for errors

Important: when running check for disk errors on the hard drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive, disk errors check will try to repair sectors and all available on which data may be lost

  • The objects will not matter because of invalid names

I'm working with a new installation of Oracle, and BI.

I work to fill the SPR using the administration tool and I'm trying to import metadata.

I am able to select the Data Source, and then select the Types of metadata and then various databases and the list of tables in the data source view. When I select a table to import, you receive an error "some objects have not been imported due to invalid names:", then it displays the used tnsname description. There is no error code or number. This happens regardless of which table choose to import.

What 'names' is he hesitated on?

The only quirk I see is the HOST variable in the tnsname which is "R395 - 03.r395.local. Is this the problem or is it something else?

    Hello

I ran into this issue today (11 G R2 64 bit Windows 2003) and I solved it by following the instructions in the post below to copy the tnsnames.ora file in my {BI home} \network\admin directory:

Re: Unable to connect to the database of the OBIEE 11g improved SPR

Note: Before running the error I had used the entire string in my tnsnames file for my name of data source (solution #2) when configuring the connection to the administration of BI tool referenced in the above thread. This allowed me to connect properly to my data source, but then I came across the 'names' invalid error when you try to import tables into my new storage space. Solution #1 in the thread above has solved the problem and I was able to import all of my tables in the repository without error. I suspect the "incorrect names" question has to do with the name of data source ("R395 - 03.r395.local') you used in the BI administration tool.

For your convenience, the two solutions of the post above are referenced below:

    1. copy your tnsnames.ora {Oracle_BI1} \network\admin directory & {oracle_common} \network\admin directory (only the first is necessary because it is the ORACLE_HOME)

    2. or instead of the source tnsnames.ora entry, use the full expanded tnsnames as shown below

    (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = 172.16.66.173)(PORT = 1521)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVER = DEDICATED)(SERVICE_NAME = orcl)))

    I hope this helps. .

  • Error when you try to install Windows XP Service Pack 3: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.

    Windows XP SP3 problem

Recently, I met a problem with my PC and was forced to use the system recovery. Now I'm back to factory settings and try to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 on my computer. Windows Update won't work for me, that whenever I try to update I get [error number: 0x8024400A]. I think it's because I use Service Pack 2, or that's what I concluded after researching the problem, anyway.

This is not my real concern, however. Because I could not get the update automatically, I tried to download and install the "Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT professionals and developers" myself. The first time I did it, I restarted the PC after the installation and was met with "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. "  I went into safe mode and went to a just system restore point before SP3 was installed, but now I don't know how to install it correctly without encountering this problem after reboot. I'm hardly the easy just stick with SP2 when there are potentially important available updates. How can I get Windows Service Pack 3 is installed on my PC?

    It's certainly interesting!

If the cause of your problem is to have a HP PC with an AMD processor and an original image on your hard drive (and of course it sounds like this is the case), the solution should be to rename the file intelppm.sys and launch the sp37394.exe patch. Once done, the SP3 file that you downloaded from here:
    SHOULD work!
I'm puzzled why there is no intelppm.sys file in your directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers.
Since you recently returned to square one with your PC ("return to factory settings"), then you may as well run the patch from this page:
and try the SP3 Setup file again.
But, first, let's be absolutely sure that we are both using the same terminology. Please answer the following questions:
    1. have you safely backed up ALL your data?
    2. what method did you use to ride "back to factory settings? I think that your choices have been a destructive restore (full) and a (partial) non-destructive recovery. The first erases the disk and leave you with a pristine image and NOTHING ELSE (which means that all of your programs and data get deleted). The other (which does not always correctly) is supposed to leave programs and data intact.

    Hello

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

    · Do you remember all the recent changes on the computer before the show?

    · What is the service pack installed on the computer?

    · What options have tried advanced startup options?

Remove all external devices such as printers and scanners connected to the computer and then try to start.

As you mentioned you don't have a CD/DVD drive on the computer and you are not able to boot in any mode, there are only two options:

    a. you will need to connect external CD/DVD drive to the computer for further troubleshooting.

    b. you must contact the manufacturer of the computer.

    Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.

Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

    See you soon.

You use the object of the view for the search criteria and search results fields.

I suggest you to remove references of VO fields of search criteria, item1 and item2.

And in the event of the button 'Go' in the processFormRequest, get the criteria for field values entered by the user as below and run the object (ViewVO1) of the view by using these values.

    String lsiCode = pageContext.getParameter ("item2");
