16 GB compatible blackBerry Smartphones Sandisk microSD card?

Hello

Here is the link of the article:

http://CGI.eBay.ca/SanDisk-16GB-micro-SD-SDHC-microSD-memory-card-16-GB-TF_W0QQitemZ130314550455QQcm...

I want to know if this micro device is compatible with the BB 8900 curve. It says on the box of BB that it is compatible with micro sd and in his description that its compatible with one card up to 16 GB of memory.

Then... Yes or no? I don't know b/c the seller isn't sure, he just told me to check with my manufacturer.

Kind regards

A.R

Ahh... Thanks much for this information! Sdgardne sorry if I do not understand you on the BONE (I don't see what that means but I gues it's software information).

No problem. OS = operating system... so OS device discusses the version of operating system that your device is running.

my version is actually 4.6.1.114 (Platform 4.2.0.76) so I gues my BB is compatible with a 32 GB card.

With 4.6.1.114, you are indeed capable of using a 32GB SD card.

do you know when these cards will be available in store (futureshop has not 16 GB [or it's like $ 100]...)?

Thank you

A.R

"available"?

However, to do the tour... different vendors will have availability when then do them. I see 32 GB cards in the United States for less than US $100 (Finally I checked - but that was yesterday, so everything is probably different already!).

See you soon!

I tried to reproduce what you experience on the device, but have been able to copy files on the SD card without any problems successfully. How do you try to move the files? I didn't go in Astro Manager of files, search for a file on my Tablet and tap and hold on the file and select copy. Then, I went to the SD card in Astro, the directory I wanted to copy to and you click on paste. You can try and see if it works? If this is not the case, my best advice would be to try another SD card.

  • BlackBerry Storm 9500 Blackberry Smartphones - what memory card?

Hi all - I am very confused... I want to get a memory card 16 GB for my new storm... BUT

What I have to buy a "Micro SDHC memory card"... or a 'SDHC memory card '... like, form I would say the two are different things... (they are certainly different) is about half the price of the old... not - where I looked (obvious or other) tells me EXACTLY I need... :-/

I want to make sure I have the right buy!... so to hear from someone who has actually got a card of memory of a storm and who can tell which one it was and that it works... would be great!

    See you soon! :-)

You certainly want a microSDHC card.  Cell phones usually use cards microSD (or microSDHC) while the cameras use SD (or SDHC) cards.  A SDHC card simply does not fit into your phone (it's too much).

I use also cards microSDHC SanDisk class 6 with my Storm and they have been great.  While I only used 8 GB cards, I know another person who got a 16 GB microSD card, and he was very happy with it.

I hope that helps!  Feel free to ask any other questions you may have!

Hello! If you know that your BB will support a card of this size on your home screen or in a folder, click on Options, scroll down, click Device > storage press menu > Format. If you have not had a large card already in your BB, after clicking on storage, press the menu button, click Help, how-to, taken supported Media cards to the map of the maximum size that will take your BB. Also if you have already what about this card that you want to install, formatting will probably delete.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Micro SD card not detected

I've recently upgraded to a 8 GB Micro SD card for my BlackBerry Curve 8310 from Micro SD 4 GB memory card.  The prior card Lexar 4 GB Micro SD worked fine and required to movies, music, pictures, etc.  However, when I've upgraded to a Kingston 8 GB Micro SD card, I have not been able to get the camera to recognize the Micro SD 8 GB card.  I have updated the software on the device to version 4.5 and I am still having problems.  I don't know if it's the brand of the chip or the chip itself which can be bad or if it's a question of BlackBerry or a software problem.  Would welcome any help to solve the problem if it is something that can be solved.  Otherwise, I'll return the chip and reinstall Micro SD 4 GB card.

  • Problems with Fuze + and new 32 GB Sandisk microSD card class 4. CAVEAT!

I bought this card on Amazon.com and it was listed as a card MicroSDHC card SDSDQ - 032 G-A11M us retail package.

This was announced as a class 2 card, but the card is labeled as a class 4 card and it's true that the write speed of this card on average 3.8 MB/sec.

I have inserted in my rocket + and got the error that there is a file system error and to format the card in FAT32.  I formatted the card under Windows 7 times using a format formatting fast and Normal and tried to write on it and it works perfectly through the windows.

I even did a full load test using H2Testw and he filled out the card and checked the files and it passes, so the map seems to work as expected.  In windows, in MSC mode, it works without problem.

However, as soon as unplug you it from the computer the "rocket" does not recognize this.

At first I thought that I had a card that is counterfeit, but doing some research forum revealed that Sandisk has been quietly replace existing map of class 2 with class 4 cards.  That's fine, but something happened because this card can not be read by the Fuze +.

I have left a note with technical support and am about to do a live chat with the technicians there.  I hope they have a solution, or that the new firmware addresses this.

This isn't a problem with the hardware or the card.  The card goes up and works perfectly under Windows so that inserted in the Fuze +, this seems to be a problem with the firmware as it will not mount this card.  I hope that Sandisk is a fix soon.  But for now I'm stuck.  I have a card that I can't come back because it is not bad for a player who did not recognize.

Specifically, I bought the Sandisk card to go in my player Sansa because I thought they would have tested their own cards with their own products.  My disappointment is understandable.

Any help anyone has would be great.

Yes, they want to take a photo of the card and my phone is worse than mine.  I'll have to use camera for my daughter to get a good picture of the card.

As I said, it seems that the map is read and write correctly.  I have same h2testw.exe rand on and filled the card and it passes.

    Weird stuff.

    Will be.
