  When I rebuilt my system, I went step by step in reinstalling the software.  I understand that better, my usb problems related to Asus motherboard utilities.  These are not entirely compatible Windows 8 and introduce problematic drivers.  Finished to start my Acronis True Image boot USB and backup of backup image of this morning.  Problem solved.

  Staying away the Asus utilities for now... btw, Asus technical support on my problems was totally useless, even if the code 19 errors point to hardware problems, which are covered by the guarantee.

  If you use the Asus utilities, you may be able to rebuilt without them...

  I am editing the images ready to send to a customer and I find that some of them become not entirely strong, seen in the module library for Wolf.  14 pictures in one folder (selected "rank"), only the first 2 are sharp saw, 12 others become strong and clear.

  Maybe a recent system update has reset your system preferences > General > recent items to zero.

  

  Type a number (for example, 10);

  Quit the system preferences;

  Leave the Pages then revive Pages;

  Open some documents to repopulate open the recent item.
