5th generation I pod Nano play no music charge from computer

New iPod Nano plays no music loaded MacBook Pro. When connected by USB, all songs appear on the computer screen in the folder of the Nano, but nothing shows up on Nano when it is disconnected from the computer. Why songs are not displayed on the Nano?

You load the songs on the iPod using iTunes?  "Record to Nano" sounds like you use Finder to copy the files of songs from iPod directly, rather than using iTunes.  You need to run iTunes and iTunes allows you to manage songs on the iPod.  iTunes stores the files of the song in a special way (when it "syncs" iPod), to optimize the performance of the iPod on its embedded software.

Just reply to clarify your current situation.  In addition, a 5th generation iPod nano is not NEW.  The current model iPod nano is 7th gen.  What is the model you have?

First step is to put in place to extend the time Capsule's Wi - Fi network.  Use Airport utility to do this part.  Then, you run iTunes and select Airport Express in the list of devices available for airtime.

  • Why does my 7th generation nano play different versions of the same song (acoustic, demo, replacing) one after another before she switches to a different song.

Why does my 7th generation nano play different versions of the same song (acoustic, demo, replacing) one after another before she switches to a different song?

Maybe the current list of the song has the songs listed in alphabetical order, and you have the iPod nano to play in the order of the list...  How do you think iPod nano to read the list of songs?

  • How can I sync my I Pod Nano

    I have an I Pod Nano 6th generation 8GB serial #C8 * model DVY # 689LL.

I the have not used in years. I have a Windows desktop PC, and I deleted all of the Apple software on it years.

It seems to me that I used to be able to sync only my I Pod Nano and my I Pod simply going on I Tunes site and signing in and your Apple product would be present on the left side of the page. I don't see that now.

I also have an I Pod Classic 80 GB.

Do I have to install the Apple software on my Windows desktop to be able to sync my Apple devices?

    Thank you

You must have iTunes or another iPod to put music on an iPod Manager, other than an iPod touch.

  • My iTunes purchases not play some music Collection

I was wondering if anyone knew a similar problem...

I agree with the music Apple (and iTunes game) and uses iPad Air (32 gb, wifi) and iPod Touch (5th generation, 32 gb).

Some albums that are part of my music in the music App Apple just won't play (stream), even if I am connected to WiFi.

These albums, titles, and the titles are all listed, but when I try to read, the playhead passes at the end of the track and stops.

All the albums that refuse to play were all purchased through iTunes, are listed in the iTunes purchase history, are currently available for purchase on iTunes and all appear in the my music from Apple's music tab.  Registrations are NOT grayed out of either.

What they all have in common, is that they were all purchased through iTunes before 2009, so I think that must have something to do with all that is the question.  There is, however, purchases before 2009, which are listed in my music and play justf very well...

    It is quite strange.

Everyone knows the same or similar issue?

I just wanted to update on this issue to all who may encounter a similar problem

with some songs or albums is not able to play (stream) in my music via iCloud library music on iOS devices and/or computer.

It seems that - for reasons unknown - these specific iTunes purchases that have been listed in my iCloud music library through every conceivable indicator (iCloud situation/location, icon etc.) contained the metadata only and no audio real.  So in streaming or download - icloud - was impossible.

I was able to solve this problem by downloading iTunes iTunes Store purchases (on my authorized computer that hosts the library that I am corresponding from / download to iCloud music library), REMOVING these tracks/albums of my music library to iCloud (on all devices), and then adding the content downloaded again to iCloud.  He has worked for all the songs/albums problem.

Apple support staff has been very helpful on the way; and I had to send them the detailed information on the issue and difficulty.

  • I Pod Nano defective

I have an I Pod Nano 7th generation is probably 8 or 9 years old.  It's worked perfectly without any problems.  I used it yesterday and put it on the charger, last night.  I got it this morning and it wouldn't turn on so I plugged it to my computer and I get a message that the USB device I plugged defective and so my computer does not recognize it.  Is it toast or is it some sort of reboot that I can do?  The computer that is running Windows 10.  Did not have download problems or the synchronization of songs with Windows 10.

Do not take account of the question, I was able to hold down the sleep/wake button and the power button and managed to do start.  To turn on and off several times so I think I'm fine.

  • iPod touch 5th generation needs "update."

Hi, I recently replaced my iPod touch 5th generation (32 GB) because my only previous has been damaged. I tried to sync it with my itunes on my laptop (Windows 7), but was greeted with a message saying I can't, because the iPod needs the latest version of itunes.

The problem is that he already has. I updated my iPod iOS 9.3.2 earlier today, and this does not resolve the issue. my iTunes is also updated to the latest version (12.1.2) so there is no latest version updated to.
I tried to turn my iPod and my laptop and turn it on again, and who has not fixed the problem.

I really want to get my music, please help.

For the latest version of iOS, you need iTunes 12.3 or later version. This means that for a PC Win 7 or a later version. On a Mac, you need 10.8.5 or later version.
