- Go to the performance tab and uncheck the option "use graphics processor.
- Restart lightroom. and check

Lightroom 6 (not responding) at startup.
I'm running Lightroom 6 stand-alone version, and recently, to put on the road, I get an error "not responding". After a few minutes resolves the problem, but it is a problem that is boring without worrying. No change in system didn't have been implemented recently. The graphics driver is updated. Unchecking the option in the preferences of graphics processor isn't the problem. Any ideas on the cause or a solution?

6 Lightroom not responding.
I got 6 Lightroom for a while, and it has worked flawlessly. However, recently my iMac (27-inch, mid 2010) screen blacked out for several weeks. I finally decided to take the computer to Apple for a check-up. For them, it looked like a simple P - Ram Zap. A few taps on the keyboard and a diagnosis secret keystrokes, that I didn't, and presto, my screen was on duty again. This weekend, my Lightroom does not open, and when I left clicked on the icon for Lightroom, it read "Application is not responding.
I tried the option + shift, to reset preferences, nothing happened.
I tried first aid disk utility: 1) checks the disk permissions, 2) repair disk permissions, 3) check disk and disk repair, 4) nothing done.
What I am doing wrong, and is there another method raise the program and restart?

Take a look in the Lightroom folder in images (or wherever you've placed your catalog and see if there is a file in there .lock.) If so, remove it.

Any help appreciated. Running Windows 7. Use Lightroom to create several views and generally tried to familiarize myself with it. But all of a sudden in January it just stop working. When I run the program I get her "not responding".

Make sure that your program is updated to version 6.4: Lightroom CC 2015.4 / 6.4 available
Right-click on Lightroom and select run as administrator and let us know if it works well.

Lightroom 6 / Windows 7 / freezes and goes to not responding do not state on launch
I just bought and office intstalled LR6 on my windows 7 (64B). When he asked to import my photos that I stressed my "My pictures" directory and it treatment to import each photo/file in the directory... which was more 19 000. He finished about 2 hours later... and seems to work correctly. Now the two day I can't program for work at all. The main screen of LR comes with pictures of mountain, but he's right there with the windows cursor (circle) is going round and round... forever. When I do a mouse click on the screen, it just says: LR is not responding and I have to stop him. Don't know what to do... any ideas?
Can or should I do an uninstall and reinstalled? Adobe will allow me to do it with the code already used?

Please follow the Solution below
- Go to edit > preference > Performance > uncheck "processor chart use" If this does not solves the problem then,
- With Lightroom closed
- Access
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences (Where AppData is a system folder / hidden so you may need to enter the name of the folder directly into your browser's address bar or activate hidden folders / system in the Internet Explorer view folder options.)
- Open the file LightroomPreferences.agprefs
- Locate the line use = True autobahn (press CTRL + F)
- Take Autobahn use = False
After save the file
Restart Lightroom

Windows Lightroom CC number 10 "is not responding.
Since the installation of 10 Windows on my computer upgraded to level and THEN re - install the latest version of Lightroom (I have the 9.99 per month) through adobe. I have had problems with Lightroom "not responding" on each photo to 4th or 5th. I have to close and then restart it. Is there a problem of Windows 10 should I be aware of? Help? It makes me crazy to try to change the photos. Do I need a new video card? How can I solve this problem? Still, it is the latest version of Lightroom that I update with my subscription.

- Please disable the use of the GPU in Lightroom
- On the Windows computer go in Edition > Preferences > Performance > uncheck the "graph of CPU use.
- Restart Lightroom

My trial version of lightroom keeps saying "not responding".
