  Apologies for the inconvenience.

  The minimum version of camera for Canon G3 X access files is 9.1.1 However, last camera raw update for Lightroom 5.7.1 was 8.7.1.

  Thus, you would not be able to access these raw files in Lightroom.

  For Lightroom, you can switch to Lightroom 6 or download DNG Converter to convert these images to DNG and then access in Lightroom.

  For Photoshop CS6, you should be able to access raw Canon G3 X images as CS6 version supports them.

  Make sure all your plugin for Photoshop CS6 camera raw.

  Maybe this question came up to 100 times, but the only answers I can find are from a few months back so I would like to know if there is an update.

  The forums say (4/5 months back) that Lightroom was waiting for an update for Sony a6300 ARW (RAW) support files. I downloaded Lightroom today (trial version) with the hope of buying it but if I can't access my RAW files... There is no need at the moment.

  Is there an update? I have the latest Lightroom and CameraRaw installed.

  Does anyone know a way around this?

  This is not the latest version.

  You need to update your Lightroom for Lightroom CC 2015.7 to keep updated to Lightroom

• 5 Lightroom can't read and import the raw file

  I can't import my RAW files from my Nikon D750. When I try to import my SD card, I am able to see the preview, but when I try to import, I get a window that reads "the following files were imported not because they could not be read. I haven't changed anything on my camera on the LR5 parameters settings and this happened just today. I am able to transfer the files on my desk at the moment, but I can't yet import from there. I also tried reformatting the card and even tried another card so I don't think that the problem is the card or the device itself. I also do not seem to see updates that I need. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  As noted of Claes, it is almost certainly a problem with your destination set wrong in the import Panel. This happens quite easily. You get the error message is almost always due to the destination without folder do not write access. Really check your destination. This should NOT be the root of your startup for example disk level and for some reason any sometimes default Lightroom at this place and then refuses to import because the OS refuses to let you write here.

  I doubt that there is no loss, it's worth a try, you should test out for sure, and then you can compare the results to decide whether to go ahead with LR 6 now or at anytime in the future.

  I own lightroom 5 and now have the xpro2 fujifilm. I'm updating 5.7.1. but does not display gross is supported. what I have to do something else or isn't available yet? Thank you

  Actually I was wrong. LR 2015.4/6.4 and 9.4 DNG Converter does support Fuji X-Pro2.

  So, you can use the DNG Converter to enter the RAW X-Pro2 LR 5 files.

  I can import them into LR, but when I load them to the module to the point, it shows a complete strange picture. It's the same thing in PS ACR.

  There's no problem on Mac.
