600xt only occasionally don't market/wake... light green on the AC adapter is released... strange

In the last 3 weeks or so our TouchSmart 600xt goes into a strange state 4 different times... have been left unattended for a period of time that we return to find the machine seems to be off and does not turn on via the power button (the button on the top right of the screen). He's usually asleep after 20 minutes, and if the Start button / stop he sleep will be orange glowing... in this case the light turns off completely. In addition, in this case the green light on the power adapter is not lit. The behavior of power adapter is quite out of the ordinary; its light never seens is disabled, even if the PC is turned off completely. But it is when this happens.

The only recourse seems to be to unplug the power adapter, and then plug it back, after which the green light on the adapter lights, the power button lights up and the machine can be turned on by the power button.

Concerned we will lose some files if stops keep occurred. We had the machine almost a year and this is a new behavior in the last 3 weeks. Note, however, that during each sleep cycle didn't appear. (The machine goes to sleep after being unsupervised on average 6 times a day and it produces "only" 4 times he slept in the last 3 weeks).

Thoughts? Some circuit for energy in the power adapter went wrong maybe?

I have come to resolution on this, but in a quite ridiculous way, with HP. My machine is under warranty so I called HP support. They have paid shipping for me to return the PC. The shipping box included explicit instructions, not to include the power adapter. I've included anyway so they could use it in the trials, including a note on the behavior and I figured the adapter not the PC. They I returned the PC with a note saying they were unable to repro the problem, and highlighted with a copy of the notice with the part that I intentionally did not follow! The log files indicate this was true, but he had not yet left on the MTBF I mentioned in the note... So even if they had used the adapter in the test, which is not surprising. The problem reappeared in the days at home. I called again. They paid shipping again. I've included the adapter again. This time they kept the PC on in the laboratory for several days until something of villain that has happened with the graphics drivers... not the unexpected loss of power and not something that I've never seen before in the newspapers. They replaced this material returned set. The problem reappeared in the days at home. I called one more time and said ' Please, can you just send me an AC adapter... If that doesn't work I'll send it back.» They did it. And I started using it. The problem is not reappeared since.

    I n t have this machine and cannot say what may be the problem. Try to roll back the OS to earlier time when he was working just to see if this will help. If this is not the case, try to reinstall the OS using recovery image installation and test with the factory settings.

    Then an internet search using the name of your model and the name of the computer and check the updates for your adapter.  If you give me the exact model of your computer name and the adapter, I'll see if I can help you.

    You could not understand how the cloud - this isn't like other cloud scenarios, you may have heard.  When you work with products such as Photoshop or other Cloud (most Adobe products) where you store your files is entirely up to you.  All applications are installed on your machine.  Some subscriptions provide a quantity of non-local server for storage space, but you have no obligation to use it.  All your work is done on your machine and all work can be stored on your computer.

    I am running Windows 7 on my XPS 420, I had updated the power supply two years back and installed extra ram and an SSD, a few months ago.

    I quit the PC last night, normally

    This morning, it is not booting, the light was blinking orange, including the connected mouse was blinking also.

    I decided to open it and check all connections; everything went well on the inside.  Before you open the PC, I unplugged all the extras connected like mouse, etc.

    The computer has actually started up normally and when I plugged the monitor it looked ordinary, he had reached the Windows login screen.

    HOWEVER, when I plugged the first rear USB component, the computer off and started to blink.

    I'm not sure what the problem is here.  My motherboard is fried?  I don't think it's the power supply from the computer DID resume after I noticed the blinking yellow light.  I wonder if the flashing of the earlier mouse and/or the flashing green on the back (inside the PC) of USB port average something else.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated

    First check that all the cables for power and data are correctly connected, including the cables on the front panel.

    No difference and if you're comfortable working around computers, you can try the following:

    Note: The only 100% POWER supply test method, is to install a known working power.

    Unplug the power cord, hold the power button in for about 15-20 seconds, open the case, disconnect the power connector 24-pin motherboard and jumping the Green wire to one of the black wires, plug in the power cord and the power of the system, if the PSU, case fans and disk hard drive performance then the power supply can be good.

    Note: Do not remove the wires from the plug, use a small piece of wire or a paper clip as a rider.

    Extract supply and the system still does not work, yet once remove the power cord, hold button power in a few seconds to discharge residual power, reconnect the connector 24 pin to the motherboard.

    Remove any PCI video card [as appropriate], memory cards, all the devices, unplug data cables and power to all readers, check that the cable from the front panel is connected to the motherboard, without anything else connected to the system, reconnect the power cable and power the system on.

    If there is no difference in the diagnostic lights, of "Beep" codes and/or the indication of the LED on the power button, it would seem that the motherboard is dead and/or the processor and the only method I know to check a processor is perhaps install a compatible work PC, or use a known job processing.

  • Apps in the market shows is not in the installed list

    I don't know if I can explain this properly, but here goes...

    The apps that I downloaded from the market are still installed on the Droid X and they always work and they are applications that are still available on the market such as UPS or Angry Birds and one host of others. However, when I go regularly to the market looking for my applications to see if there are any updates available, a majority of my installed applications are listed is no longer installed when I press the menu button from within the market and select my Apps.

    Any ideas?

    And any ideas why when I don't have the allow automatic update is ticked that I always have to manually download the updates?

    Say the market when you look at one of these applications?  At the top it says open or should I say install or buy?  Is a reboot of the phone or a battery pull to the problem?
