  The first starting point would be to look at the minimum specifications required by the video editing program, and then start looking for laptops with these specifications.  Then look for those that have the best specifications requested by the program and settle for something in between.

  According to your budget, it would be better to buy something that has more than request the program you always want to have the best.

• Need recommendation for laptop - for video editing

  I'm trying to looking for a new laptop and need recommendations based on how I use the laptop.  I produce videos and mainly use the following programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Encore DVD.  I also use other software such as AutoFX PGE7.0 of photo editing.

  I currently have a HP Pavilion which is about 5 years old.  This office has the following specifications:

  HP Pavilion PU131AV / a1050y, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP MCE, SP3 32-bit, Nvidia GeForce 6600

  I believe that with a new laptop, I was able to create my videos more efficiently.  If you have any input as to what I need in a laptop for my specific purpose, please let me know.

  For what you are doing you need all the horsepower you can gather. You have not specified a budget and with what you're trying to do, I don't think that it would be useful to think of anything less than a thousand dollars. You need at least 4 GB of memory and preferably 8. You need a 64 bit version of Windows 7. You need a quad core or i7 processor. Regarding the size of the screen, it's a matter of personal choice, but I don't see how you can get in with less than a 15-inch screen. In respect to the HP products you can consider the urge again, but the problem is the lack of an internal optical drive (CD/DVD type).

  HP is running a special offer on the dv6t Quad model with an i7 processor, $ 999 with a free upgrade to 4 GB of RAM and a concert full of video memory. While your P4 3.2 was the killer at a time where it was released, the dv6t Quad run rings around her, particularly in Photoshop. Make sure that you use a recent version of Photoshop with 64-bit and support multi-core. Also be sure to get the 7200 RPM hard drive, because it makes a big difference in video editing.

  My name is Bryan Troxell and I just started the film school this week. After attending my first edition courses, I learned that we would use Adobe Premiere Pro as our choice editing program. This opened my options for the purchase of a laptop computer that I had previously reduced my research based Apple laptops. Now I have the dilemma of trying to find a portable workstation for video editing that will last me up to the school and beyond. I am open to the windows and apple devices and I have a price range for about $2,000, including taxes. I live in Washington if really my purchase to be around 1800 or lower for me to stay within my budget. The reason for which I need a laptop as opposed to a desktop computer is the neccessity for mobility and the ability to change so that at school (which has surpassed the imac models) and at home. I'm looking for maximum mobility and a strong autonomy. I hope so for a class of 15 inches at least 5 hours of autonomy. If this is not feasible in my range of price, then as close to him as possible. I guess that I am asking for help because I have not sought a computer in almost 3 years now and have no idea what I'll need more than a processor quad core, minimum of 8 GB of ram and a 1080 p screen. I hope that savvy here spirits can point me in the right direction.

  A lot depends on what Quad Core you have ie model of architecture. A Quad Core 2 not manage much at all while the Ivy Bridge or especially a Haswell Quad Mobile will manage as much as a Gen 1 I7 workstation.

• is this good enough for computer games?

  I have an inspiron one 2020. I bought so I could play final fantasy xiv. at best buy sales associate told me that this computer would be ok for him. When I tried to play the game, it took 5 minutes just to make it load my character and even less to the surroundings. I adjusted some things that suggest a few friends. the game always takes a while to load, but my character moves a bit faster. is that what I can do on the computer to do better for the game. or do I just write if off as a single computer to internet surfing?

  Short answer is no :-(the 2020 is a productivity machine and not really for any mid-tier to high-end games high.  In terms of all-in-one the ONLY thing that I should have looked at is the 27th of XPS and you need to get is more than 2 k.  If its in return period of Best Buy I would do it.

  I thought that Premiere Pro CC2015 (9.2.0) was OK running on Iris Pro (1.5 GB) graphics cards. No idea why I get this error?

  Does anyone have the chips for the specifications, which would be ideal for HD playback without lag in Adobe Premiere cc2015 +?

  Laptops that I am considering include the line of ASUS ROG game... but my main question is;

  the 4 GB dedicated graphics card will be "brand or a break" for a smooth ultra HD playback in my calendar?

  This would be for an extraordinary effect of intensive work and a lot of video track overlay and the use of plugins for mainly music videos where nuanced reading is essential for a quality cut.

  I received a Symantec Antivrius Client Vista (version 10.2) from a friend for free. Is this friendly antivirus when it comes to games, or it will be just a fight?

  It is a good software that allows you, in case if you see options such as disable the Antivirus (for 1 h or 2 h) or mode of play in Symantec Antivirus as options you can try this.

  WebWorks = HTML5 apps. Nothing special about this chapter in addition to the use of the SDK which would take place a max if there is such a book.

  Note: This is a good thing! Completely conforms to Web standards. Thus, the applications developed under WebWorks will be super easy port almost any platform. I already did with my apps.

  I have a few questions on my mind:
  How much better / faster is the processor of Gen 6th to the 5th generation?
  If I googled them (and check ark.intel.com) data may not be very good. but it's just numbers. What about performance? What's much faster? or I'm better with 8 GB of additional RAM?

  I use it almost exclusively to the University - which means that I sometimes dozens of PDF and MS Word files open at the same time. If I understand it the RAM is more important when it comes to 'multitasking '?

  Sometimes, I also play games. But I'm no high-end gaming on my laptop. but I've done before on my desk. That's why I'm used to a fast computer / laptop. I want my laptop to be quick (which is my only real is not more...)

  The 6th generation will be the most recent version and maybe a little better than 5th. Usually there will be not much difference. You'll be better off with more ram. 8 gig will be fine. RAM is important for virtually everything you do on a computer.

  You better buy with Windows 10, so all programs are already in place and everything works together as it should. If you have Windows 8.1 and upgrade, you get all the Dell updates for the hardware and software.

  This should be good for the play of light, just keep in mind this isn't a designated game machine. Alienware line are the big gaming machines.

  Looks like you have chosen a good laptop for school and general use.

  It's good enough for a laptop. should work just fine. the gforce is a little slower than a desktop counterpart, but work remains.  I don't know if there are specific problems with cs6 and your equipment if.

  I usually use other media players, but I would like to first of all using Windows Media Center. However for the moment video playback is not good because of the weird colors (everything is displayed in black and Red instead of normal colors). When you use other media players, I use the Haali rendering engine which gives good results for video playback.

  Can you tell me how to change the rendering used by Windows Media Center?

  2. what graphics card use on the computer?

  If you are using an Nvidia graphics card on the computer, in the Nvidia Desktop Manager, you will find an option for saturation to ensure it is set to 100%.

  And if you are any other graphics card on the computer and search for a similar option for saturation.

  If the previous step fails in Windows media player, so be sure that the hue and Saturation are defined by default.

  1. click on the arrow on the tabplaying , point to enhancements, and then clickcolor picker.

  2. do one of the following:

  1. to return to the default color, click thereset link.

  Also, make sure that the video settings are set by default.

  1. start the playback of a file.

  2. click on the arrow on the tabplaying , point to improvements, and then clickvideo settings.

  Check also in Windows Media Center if the

• Annyconnect 'broadcast' for LAN games.

  I am looking for a good solution for the game via the VPN for games more alumni who are supported only the LAN connections.

  I currently have anyconnect go and which works well and all so manually enter us the IP host address.

  My wish is to make the games available in the server lists, which I suppose is in programming.

  I know that anyconnect VPN will not not diffuse, but there is maybe a solution any?

  I don't have access to an IP running unix dist raspbian so who could perform some service perhaps?

  Any input is much appreciated!

  Hello Cristian Nilsson,

  In fact, as you said AnyConnect or even the ASA itself does not support broadcast or multicast on a (access to remote or L2L) VPN tunnel. Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this.

  You can certainly get it using a GRE/IPSEC tunnel, but it is a completely different design and will require different platforms because the ASA does not support GRE tunnels.

  I'm a little desperate because it's been 4 days that I m surching a solution without success.

  I use cc pro first 2015 and so that everything worked perfectly, one day this error loading «adobe premiere can't find modules for video games» able I see that it blocks during the loading phase according to 'importquicktimehost.prm '.

  What should do?

  Here is my config and the actions that I have tried:

  ASUS N73sv, onboard video intel hd 3000 and nvidia gforce gt 540 m, 10 Windows

  Here's what I've tried and that did not work:

  -Uninstall and reinstall the latest version of quicktime

  -run in administrator mode

  -update drivers for my nvidia gforce gt 540 m graphics card

  -try an older driver for my gforce gt 540 m

  -put my computer in mode performance pmy gforce in priority

  -Uninstall reinstall first

  -Completely reset my pc

  -Use "sniffer gpu" and find my 2 video cards

  -use the software mini 'gpu - z' to see if my gt 540 m video card worked fine

  -use a benchmark to see also if it worked

  -crying, but did not work or

  I am very very tired.

  I don't know that it must be something completely stupid, it's very frustrating.

  PS: well I do not know why, but 3 weeks ago I've reset my system completely and first start very quickly while here it starts to load the elements after about a minute (it blocks "importquicktimehost.prm", of course...)
