A PDF link to a specific bookmark in a different PDF

Requirement: A link to a PDF to a specific bookmark in another PDF file.

Explanation: I want to allow users to open the Document example 2, click on "Sample Document 1 heading 1" and open the file PDF 1 Document sample about 1 or any other bookmark.

R estrictions: this method should be as simple as possible, given that non-technical people do most of the shares.

Method of current and question: the links are provided for each document, but not some sections it contains. This requires users to spend time looking for information, they may not have time.

Software: Windows 7 Enterprise Edition, Adobe Acrobat Professional X. bookmarks are created with FSPro add-in for Word.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

You can't link a bookmark highlighted. You can link to that bookmark points

Although, as a page view or a named destination.

  • Link to a specific section of a different page.

I have a drop down menu on my navigation bar.  I want the links on the drop down menu to bring me to different sections of a different page. This is the code I used.

This is the html code for the navigation bar:

    < nav id = "nav" >

    < ul >

    < class li = "current_page_item" > < a href = "index.html" class is 'House' style is"police family: nexa_rust_sansblack" > home < /a > < /li > "

    < li >< a href = "services.html' class is 'services' style is" family are: nexa_rust_sansblack "> Services < /a > "

    < ul >

    < li > < a href = "services.html #manage ' > management < /a > < /li >" "

    < li > < a href = "services.html #strategy" > strategy < /a > < /li > ""

    < li > < a href = "services.html #design" > Design < /a > < /li >

    < li > < a href = "services.html #optimize" > Optimize < /a > < /li > ""

    < li > < a href = "services.html #store" > shop < /a > < /li > ""

    < li > < a href = "services.html #social" > Social Meida < /a > < /li > ""

    < /ul >

    < /li >

    < li > < a href = "portfolios.html" class is "portfolios" style is"police family: nexa_rust_sansblack" > portfolios < /a > < /li > "

    < li > < a href = "contact.html" class is 'contact' style is"police family: nexa_rust_sansblack" > contact < /a > < /li > "

    < /ul >

    < / nav >

It is the way that each section of the page, their link is coded.

    < section class = "box" >

    < header id = ' manage' >

    Center of <>< img src = "images/manage.png" alt = "Web development Image" > < / center > < br / > "

    < h3 > site & Mobile development < / h3 >

    < / header >

    < p > content here < /p >

    < / section >

But this doesn't seem to work.  Does anyone have a suggestion? Thank you.

Obviously, this is not the way in which these links to internal pages should work. The fact that your are not working suggest me that by clicking on the link in the menu starts an internal timer in one of your more than several routines javascript that causes the page to refresh the top of the page. I can't think of a good way to find that, other than disabling js files, one at a time.

  • Linking to a specific area in a PDF file

I want to create a link to access a specific text box in my PDF errors... not allowing anything outside this area to be filled unless you click this link in particular. Does anyone know how to do this?

It is very easy to create a link to a specific area. Make a button and all of his "Go to page view" action, then go to the box (you can even set the desired zoom level) and set the link.

It is not possible to prevent the user to leave the area.

  • Newbie - link to a specific topic

    Hello

I'm from RoboHelp 7 today and a little lost. Here's my problem. I'm a Dev App project manager. I came across a project that has an application that links to a RoboHelp project. All the links within the application will direct the user to the default.htm. Which is nice because you have the search tool and the left navigation pane. However, inside of our application, we help links that seem to be very specific to a topic, but when you click the link you get the default page. Right links to a specific htm page of our application, we can create, but when we do that we get only the subject and none of the nice features that help Robo adds, such as the navigation pane. What I would do, is to create a link that directs a user to the help files in the aspect that you get when you go to the page by default, but instead of sending them to the default page, send them to a specific help file.

Can someone get me in the right direction? Should we use bookmarks in Robohelp? If so, how partner with them.

Thank you so much (in advance)!

Thank you all very much for the help.

  • How to link to a specific spry in Adobe Dreamweaver CM³ tabs Panel?

    Hi all

I have a homepage using panels to Spry tab with 6 panels. I want you assign a URL that is unique to each panel so that I can link directly to each tab to other pages in the Web site.

I found this question asked and answered for previous versions of Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver CC now (starting August 2012) use widgets to jQuery UI for panels with tabs, so I think it's why I'm not having much success with solutions that are already out there.

Please note that I am relatively new to the web languages and Web site design.

I also created a version that shows how a link to a specific panel or a tab in a tab or jQuery UI accordion: http://foundationphp.com/tutorials/jqui_specific.php.

  • How to link to a specific topic in RoboHelp outside

It's maybe a stupid question, but I did a lot of research and may not know how to do this.  I use Robohelp to generate html help files.  Is there a way I can link to a specific section of a page outside of robohelp?  I looked at the links in the table of contents.  If I use the url of one of these links, I get the page to what I want to do a link, but it just happens that it's own page (without the frame of robohelp and content around it).  Hope this is clear.  Thanks in advance.
