A problem with the Redirection of folders and roaming profiles - Adobe Flash file

This thread is in relation to a thread started for the Google Chrome browser.  Admins also suggested I have create a post here.  The link to the bug can be found here: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=97512

This is the first post on the forums of Chrome:

Here students use Windows 7 with redirection folders and roaming profiles.

When in Chrome (any version) and they try to attach a file to an e-mail or upload a file to a site, a 'Find a file' window appears.  When they try to locate the file on their desktop or document file, Chrome hangs for a minute then prompt a user to enter their credentials. Even with the correct credentials prompt says access denied.

If a local user without a roaming profile or the folder redirection tries the same thing that everything works as should.

This problem does not occur in Internet Explorer (all versions) or Firefox (all versions)

The "Search a file" window that appears resembles that of Windows XP, not the other from Vista or Windows 7.

I also believe that I have posted here before on this topic, but can't seem to find the problem.

Basically, right now I tell students not to use Chrome to download or attach data.

I also confirmed AppData folder redirection to be a default/limitation in Flash Player 11 plugin... but only for Google Chrome built-in version of Flash Player 11 (usually located in the Chrome installation folder).  The version of Adobe (usually located in the Adobe installation folder) do not have this problem for me.

Fortunately, Chrome allows you to install the version of Adobe if you want. I have disabled the plugin provided with Google Chrome and Google Chrome Frame, and my users were able again to use my Flash application:

  1. Google Chrome: type chrome://plugins/ in the URL
    Google Chrome Frame for IE: enter gcf: topic: plugins in the URL
  2. Click "Détails" to expand the list of plugin
  3. Scroll down to Flash
  4. If you have only one version and it is located somewhere in a folder of Chrome, then disable it, close your browser, reopen it, visit http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and install the version of Adobe.
  5. If you have several versions, disable the version in the Chrome folder and try to use your Flash application again.

It worked for me; your mileage may vary...

    It seems to be a problem with the corruption of the .net framework. I suggest trying to repair the .net framework on the computer and see if you can install the updates.

    Hi, I brought my files on production server by dumping my production test folder. I brought my whole file it.

    This is a calendar of java script.

    In the test server, it works fine.

    The calendar written in java script is here. But when I managed to put in production the calendar disappeared.

    I'm still new to this, infact it's a fixed quick. I got the parts together.

    Seems to get more acquainted with how ColdFusion is installed on your production system. You might find web root under a directory like/inetpub/wwwroot/and are usually directly above where you ColdFusion templates are located. Can't speculate as to what 'reader' it would be, as you didn't say if you're on UNIX, Windows, MAC or Linux, etc., not that this would help a lot. Who configured your server, or at least who is the administrator or webmaster? I would like to have a conversation with him or her.

  • I have a problem with the computer is slow and does not file.

    1 of my pc and 1 another laptop, both with same OS - win 7 starter, atom and same ram and Ghz processor.

    The the Task Manager on the two of them performing at about 50%

    According to my knowledge, 2 of my PC are infected and the virus are not getting detected by bitdefender on my PC1 but 4 threats have been detected on the laptop...
    The same files are include the other way on my other pc.
    Whenever I open the files, save option opens and a new file is saved with the file tha but they never get to open in word or powerpoint, only the backup option is displayed.

    201310131003535. I mentioned that somewhere I had formatted the USB key. Just before that, I had copied all files by selecting CTRL A and cut all the files in a directory on my PC.     I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 2100 and I have a problem with the memory upgrade.

    You can try to use the type of static text in HTML5 Canvas document for WYSIWYG experience and see if that helps?

    PS: The static text in the document of the canvas is converted to outlines when publishing to preserve the WYSIWYG experience. If you have a requirement that you need to preserve the text in the js to output file, then use a dynamic text with Typekit web font for experience of consistency.

    The thing that says 32-bit exhibition (has nothing to do with what version of cs5 your use) could be here because you have already opened or created a document in 32-bit/channel mode.

    You can change what appears here by clicking on the little arrow and choose something else.

  • Problem with the loading of XML and xmlns

    I'm having a problem with loading an XML file that was created by Filemaker.  FileMaker will display an XML file by using one of two different grammars.  A poster of a standard form for the most that I can use with a glitch.  Flash CS4 AS3 seems to have a problem with the xmlns in one of the nodes.

    More precisely:

    With part xmlns in the XML file, I get the following error when attempting to load the thumbnails files:

    TypeError: Error #1010: a term is undefined and has no properties.

    I need it so that the user can enter/change the data and simply output the XML file of Filemaker and then the Flash load the XML file not corrupted and displays the information requested by the user.  That is to say I might have the user open the XML file in a word processing application and have remove them the xmlns..., but it is rather heavy and not very user-friendly.

    I tried all the xml.ignore functions I could find, but it does not help.  I hope someone out there can help you

    The ':' is what we call a scope resolution operator. Using namespace allows you to potentially have two or more nodes that have the same name but a namespace 'different '. "These are normally specified in xml in the form xmlns:mynamespace ="http://myuniqueURI.com/etc"

    Normally, you would use the mynamespace:node by naming your xml nodes that are specific to this namespace.

    But the best is that namespace by default, when there is no real Prefixeespacenom: in the name of node as:

    That's how it is specified in your xml file, that is to say all the nodes without a prefix belong to the filemaker namespace.

    In actionscript, you navigate by using the scope-resolution operator and the variable that represents the namespace does not necessarily resemble the part "mynamespace" above. In your case the namespace used was the one by default (no), but a value has been assigned.

    To the question of the length, you must use the length() method, otherwise the e4x filtering seeks nodes named 'length' and creating a XMLList with no entry in there (because it's not).     If the implementation was made by your employer, they can put in something different from your Apple ID to find my iPhone. It also seems that if something was damaged in the fall. Who can contribute to the problem.
