  I have a Dell Studio 1749 under Windows 7 Home Premium.   I postponed the upgrade of Windows 10 to the present day.  The update file appears in the control panel Windows Update Panel, but when I click start it restarts Windows 7 simply and tells me that the new updates have been installed but it was Windows 7 updates since yesterday.

  Is the corrupted Windows 10 download, and if so how can I remove this and re-download the file?    Or maybe another solution?

  Try MSConfig and disable it from the startup item (start-> Run Type & -> msconfig-> ok) list. Maybe his list here. If you are able to find it in msconfig, you will get the path of the program where its getting executed, you can try moving the file from this location.

  Your toolbar customizations are stored in the localstore.rdf file in your Firefox profile folder currently active. This XML file is difficult reading and I don't remember seeing a good documentation on how to modify. If you want to give it a try, please make a backup first.

  If the file is corrupted (or most corrupt, according to the case), you can rename or move it Firefox will generate a new one with default settings and you can start customizing from scratch.

  With the road, it actually seems that you should be able to find and remove the separators.

  It is possible that all five were registered as home pages. To test this theory is to press Ctrl + n to open a new window. If the same five tabs appear, please check here:

  Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > general

  When you see 'Home Page' see multiple URLS? If so, you can change this line, or just delete everything to use the default Firefox homepage.

  If you do not see many URL there, is possible that a former session comes back (like the Groundhog Day)?
