  Hi all

  I use USB-6001 and want to develop an application to multiple tasks in C++. I try to read several analog inputs at the same time, but got some errors. To put it simply, I copy one of the sample code to read in analog data in a channel, and then turn it into function. Then I call this function to thread with the names of different poles (for example Dev1/ai0, Dev1/ai1) and I come across this error:

  I have search the forums, this may be because I use the hardware timing in this function, and this material timing cannot be used simultaneously by multiple tasks. I may have to put all the lines, I want to read in a single task (such as Dev1 / ai0:1). This way I can read two lines at the same time. However, when I try this, I encounter another error:

  Status code "buffer is too small to contain the data read" - 200299

  So here is my question, what should I do if I don't want to read the multiple analog inputs at the same time? Is the thing that hard time cannot be used by several true task? If I have to read several lines to a single task, how to set the settings?

• How to read the multiple slave devices in a RTU modbus RS485 2-wire network without changing slave address manually?

  Currently, I can read data out of multiple using the attached VI DAQ devices by manually changing the address of the slave on the front panel that determines what slave to read the data. However, I want the VI to do it automatically for me instead of me manually by clicking on the buttons on the front panel to change the address of the slave. In other words, the VI should read data off devices 3 slaves and save them to a database of all the 1 second (sampling from 1 sec interval). I tried to use the structures of the case, timed sequences and delays, but I'm still not able to get what I wanted. My current VI is a modified version of a VI library modbus - 'MB series Master query read input registers'. No idea how to do this?

  IM pretty new to LabVIEW, so don't kill me if im away here

  Could replace the cluster 'Series settings' with the attached structure solve this problem?

  The real deal will be just the value back to the default (1).

  Your printer can sort multiple copy tasks. For example, if you print two copies of a three-page document and you choose not to collect them, the pages printed in the following order: 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3.

• How to split a long file into multiple tracks?

  I have a recording of single file of a vinyl record (containing several sequential tracks) that I want to export to several distinct tracks. Is it possible to take thisfile audio, to add markers and export this multitrack view file into separate tracks? I know its possible to do using markers and export a list of CD and a burn on CD, but can export you multiple WAV gapless files instead, with the markers as points of track/split?

  I'm not burning to CD, just wanting to keep the traces in the form of files.

  Once you have added your markers and merged as to make a CD, then you can use parts of marker of Batch process (icon following along the fusion icon in the list of markers) to save the regions marked in individual files.

• How to make shift register init happens only once, so that the data can persist across multiple tracks of a loop?

  Here's the situation:

  We are repeatedly followed eight real-world signals and comparing them to a threshold value.  We do this via a loop For inside a While loop.  The loop For runs eight times per pass.  We have implemented a binary table 1 d and the use of the index of the loop For as the array index, by putting a Boolean result in the table using the function replace table subset.  We want to keep the data in the table to be 'sticky', in the sense that any True value is locked, so even if a fake comes later, this array element true.  However, since we initialize the array in order for the replacement to the work table, we see that whenever the loop For again, it resets the table and destroys the history.

  I have attached a simple VI to illustrate the concept, using a random number generator as a stand-in for the real world signals.  How we change this VI do and entered real lock through multiples for loop runs, indefinitely?

  Yep, the shift register Initializes only at the beginning.  You could say that every time the while loop is called (not each iteration) the shift register is reset with the wrong table.

  Hey there everyone,

  First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm still relatively new to LabVIEW, but I read most of the bases.

  How is this issue work VISA.

  I have an oscilloscope which has sensors to 3 channels and I want to display 3 channels on the same graph. The example of VI, which is included with the driver allows me to access a channel however it also adds other features, such as the control device that I didn't need, I just want to read data from the oscilloscope.

  I will not be able to access the gear for a few days, but have started coding. Here's what I've coded so far.

  

  

  The first blue function is 'Reading of Array wave' and the second 'wave in table scale ".

  Am I allowed to access the VISA like this? Or is it illegal access that would cause problems?

  I tried to access several channels before, so I was in the laboratory, however they have always produced errors.

  I use an oscilloscope tektronix TDS2013C, Labview 2013 and that you have downloaded the driver concerned for my model.

  Please read the manual on a reading and extraction.

  As I said, the reading will launch a new capture. When you call it 3 times, each record returned will be later time than the previous capture. Either do what I said or call an extraction 3 times now.

  I will group all title and clips of a segment and move together to easily reorder the episode.

  You can group clips on tracks first select the clips you want to group by clicking top Ctrl clicking on add clips. You can also use a selection tool to select all the clips in the framing box. To get the selection rectangle selection tool click the move tool or Selection tool in an empty area of the multitrack view and stretch the marquee to select all the items it contains.

  Once the clips are selected you can right click and use the different group options in the menu drop down or from the Clip menu.

• Select multiple tracks leaves Me puzzled

  After pruning a point of beginning and end, I want to delete everything in the meantime. Y at - it an easier way to capture all the tracks (I have 3) so I can just delete them all at once? As I expect to click the rail top and shift-click on the bottom track and have the average title chosen, but it doesn't seem to work like that. I need to click on the Central track too. If I have to click on each track manually for each Cup by rolling, I'll be here all night, as I have often more than 3 tracks.

  An alternative seems to add all my track in a sequence, and adding to another sequence, so I'm only dealing with a mounting track. But not only that seems like a silly solution, but that introduces other issues that I think about it.

  Maybe I misunderstand you, but have your tried clicking with your mouse over the top rail down and dragging on the tracks that you want to select, and then releasing the mouse?

• Basics of multiple tracks

  I admit that I am not that familiar with hearing so I apologize for my level of knowledge in advance.

  I recorded a video of a speaker in a small room with a nice HD Panasonic camcorder that has a built-in surround mic arrangement.  During the conversation, the speaker was directly in front of the camera, but major clipping noise happening outside with open windows.  I exported the audio at the first hearing and I see 6 marked tracks L-R-C-LFE-Ls-Rs.  Before diving into the noise reduction, I thought I'd try switch channels (i.e. maybe just in the Center, for example).

  Even if I see waveforms displayed on all six only L and R channels appear to contribute to the sound on the speakers when I play with the buttons toggle on the right side.  Other channels have zero displays but activating / disabling the Sub and turned off has no effect on the audio signal.

  Am I missing some additional mixer somewhere?  Is these other channels just an illusion?

  You have a 5.1 audio device and the configuration of the speakers?  If so, you may need to configure the outputs correct under Preferences > Audio Channel Mapping.

  

  If not, but you want to still hear the other channels, there are a few options.  You can go to the Preferences > Audio Channel Mapping dialog and map outputs C, LFE, Ls, and Rs to your stereo output by default or insert the effect Amplitude and Compression > mixer to the effects Rack and choose "2.0 Downmix (stereo)" preset that will move and mix all surround channels to the L/R outputs.

  

• Is it possible to see or read two video tracks at the same time?

  I have the video shot with two cameras at the same event.  If I took the video and put it in a sequence, say video1 video2, how can I watch two channels simultaneously so I can edit them?  I tried to use the multiple camera monitor and have this show video1, watching the video2 in the right panel, but it works very well.  I mean, that the multiple camera monitor does not play at the same time.  Instead, he stops, so when I play the other monitor is it still until I have stop it.  Then, it "catches up".  If I play the multi-monitor, the other is motionless until I have stop the monitor multi-cam.  Then, someone has a better solution that I can use where they both play at the same time?
