A side navigation moves to the bottom of all other content on the site online

This page is what looks like the NAV on the right at the bottom of the page:

http://healthdimensionsgroup.com/our_team_administrators.html

This is how it should look with the side right nav side with other content:

http://healthdimensionsgroup.com/our_team_marketing.html

Thought it might have something to do with the width of the table, but making it smaller doesn't seem to do anything. In dreamweaver, it seems to be in the right place, but when he put on the live site, it moves down. See below...

Open the style.css

find the rule of #content_col_left_wide

Change the width to 685 or less and

SAVE IT and upload it to your CSS On YOUR REMOTE SERVER folder

  • DW code does not match the site online code

The image below is what is shown on the screen of my DW:

    dwcapture.png

This next picture below is the same page as above, however it is displayed on real live site with a window "View source" from the browser:livecapture.png

My question is why is this magic piece, highlight of the code continues to display on the site online, but not on my local version of DW.

No matter how many times I 'get' or 'put', this piece random information between the three links and the table remains just on the live version, but never on the local.

I even changed table information and link, which are "placed" and displayed correctly.

I am quite confused, please help if you can?

My guess without seeing the page online is that you have several files - maybe one is capitalized and the other is the lowercase file name?

If this isn't the case, 2 folders, I lean toward possible code errors.

  • Menu of navigation moves to the bottom of the page when scrolling

I have built the site and have not really upward ( http://[email protected]) and then I noticed that the main navigation menu moves to the bottom of the page when the page is long enough that it should be the object of a scroll. I thought it was OK, but he will have to stay on top, otherwise it makes a mess with the text on the page. But this does not of course because the navigation menu is in the page master and who will always be on one layer deep.

So I thought that maybe my choice of set higher than the Panel main page was at fault, so I moved it to slot the name and logo (which is where I have it in the Muse at the moment) but who doesn't either. Still, it moves down with the page and disappears among the pictures and texts. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Or forgotten? I don't find anything useful in the menu "blue arrow" right menu on the master.  ?????

    Thanks in advance.

I'm bumping this again because I have FINALLY solved the problem - even if it is really a workaround I guess - and it is always possible that someone could use the info. Here's what it looked like before, when I sailed down to the http://www.siegbrunn.de homepage

Main menu - which is under the title of the page & logo and is NOT marked as an element of footer - traveled down with the scroll of the page and produced disorder that you see above. There is no command of scrolling of the menu, he didn't want to stay put.

    Solution:

I have it grouped with TWO lines of text the Page title that you see (I did previously with ONE, and it did not work). It works now (at least in Chrome) and I'm relieved.

  • Graphics & elements move after the site record!

Muse by train before buying it but come back throughout a major problem.

After the design of a page with images and elements, download and site successfully record, when I just run the Muse and the site again just on the page is in every sense.

The screenshot below has the site on the right page and the fragmented Muse page on the left.

    Error-Screenshot-1.jpg

I'll have to redraw the page whenever I load the site in the Muse.  Not good!  Have to think seriously about if to register after the trial period which is a shame, because in general, it does everything I want.

Can someone suggest a solution to my problem?

    I'm sorry Tim,.

Please go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming-ici you will see com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.0 (2015 may differ if you use a different verson) rename com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.0 in com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.0.old

    * Note - Well that renaming the folder, make sure that Muse is closed. After you rename open muse-make the necessary changes, save and close the Muse. Try to open it again and see whether or not the changes reflect.

  • The drop-down list widget by dragging down all other content when it is activated

Hi there - this is probably a stupid question and reflects my total ignorance - but I'm using the drop-down list Widget and whenever I click to activate the drop down the rest of the page content travels South with it. What did I miss? I thought that the list would automatically be placed above any other content. Help would be welcome. Thank you.

Please give the link of the page to display, also if it is a third party widget, please communicate with the hardware editor of the widget.

With a Menu, you can change the Options settings.

  • Review of muse pages off connection and uploading to the site online at Business Catalyst

I'm about to do my Muse live site Web Business Catalyst.  However, I know that I will eventually have to revise existing pages - the addition of a few new features and also a couple of external links. I would feel more at ease to revise the entire site offline and download my entire revised site in lieu of catalyst for the company.  I don't see any instructions or info as to whether this is possible. Advice please.

You can edit/change the contents of the site and then download BC, when downloading in BC, you can use the existing site, if you have already published the site or you can go with a new site of the trial.

If you are referring to the replacement of any site in British Colombia, new content then the same process of updating the site will work. I'm missing something or you are looking for something else, then please correct me.

  • Using the same navigation bar throughout the site

    Hello

I decided to learn web desgin and started using Dreamweaver.

I don't want to use any server techonogies. (since I don't know how to use it! )

I want to reuse my sign and logo section navigation - I called header - on each page.

I do not want to copy and paste this info to each page as it will take too much time and will be very difficult to maintain.

What is the best solution to overcome this situation?

    Thank you!

With the help of the function template in Dreamweaver is a good way to go if it's a small site - as mentioned in the previous post John.  For larger sites and serverside includes would be more practice and more early for maintenance purposes.

You create a master page, you declare which areas will be the same for all pages, (non editable regions) and then to declare a zone which will be

change on each page (content area), editable regions.

Once you create the template and save it, you can create pages of this model - as much as you like :-) "child" so you all need to make a change to the menu or the footer or header, change it in the main template, save it, and the changes will be flowing through the pages of the child created from the template.

    Using DW templates:

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/Dreamweaver/templates.html

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/Dreamweaver/articles/dw_templates.html

The other option is to use serverside includes (SSI)

A little more info on SSIs here:

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/10.0_Using/WSc78c5058ca073340dcda9110b1f693f21-7B6 ca.html

    http://bignosebird.com/SSI.shtml

A major difference between the use of templates and SSI?

When you make a change to a page template, you will need to re - download all pages on the server that have been modified - can become very tedious if it is a very large site.

With the help of SSI, you make a change to a file and don't have to download a single file and all of the pages on the server will be updated accordingly.

I have a page with a top navigation bar that includes menus and a side navigation bar.  The problem I have is that the drop-down menus aren't covering on the side menu, but seem to be merging with it on the same level.

  • Yellow box on the right side of the site.

We have a yellow box that extends from the top of our Web site to the bottom near the right side of the site. The box does not appear in the development or the preview; only on the site online. It appears in Firefox and Chrome. This may or may not be a problem to Dreamweaver, but I'm not sure. The site is located at abafoundation.org. Before the update I had the 01/03/16 of the sensitive version of Muse site would export in a few minutes to the HTML even in the beta version of versions I was testing export was quick and he is now at a snails pace.  It may take up to 15-20 minutes, but I can move throughout the site once exported to the folder on the network or my office in a minute... No matter where I export local or its unbearably slow network.. all my files, I work with are the and I have the site to ordinary resolution.  I even reduced the size of the original images.  Don't know what else could be the cause of the problem.
