• Access error in the workflow area TabContext

  I'm working on an ADF application that acts essentially as an IDE.  There is a page main jspx with a tree in a left navigation pane, then publishers (fragments) are displayed in tabs in the central content pane.

  One of my pages is a dashboard and it contains several areas of Panel who have things like "Recently opened", "Recently published", etc.  Each box is it is a clean area with it's own Fragment.  They usually contain a list of the command.  I use the feature "Recently opened" illustrate the problem I have.

  When I opened a new editor, I add it to a list in the grain of support.  The fragment in the region recently opened uses a tag af:forEach to iterate over this list and show the links of the command.  When you click on it, the link to order access this tab (if it is open), or open a new tab with this editor (be it was closed because it was added to the list).  The problem is when I try to access the TabContext, I see two scenarios.

  In scenario 1, show the links of the command, but I get a Null pointer by accessing the context tab.  After seeing this in the past, in scenario 2 I added a parameter to the workflow for tabContext and got a new error.

  Hi Scott,.

  Looks like you're missing to set the task input stream parameter tabContext to the recentlyOpenedFlow on the page of main_dashboard binding.

  When you open the main_dashboard page, click the links tab, click the recentlyOpenedFlow in the executables section, you will see the input parameters are listed.

  You can set the value with the tabContext of calling traffic there. However I'm no expert on the boss of Shell of the user interface, so I don't know if the tabContext is serializable parameters need to be as far as I know.

  Otherwise, the record output will let you know...

  I do a new install of vCenter Server 5.5 on a new Windows 2008 R2 server. The database for this facility is pointing at a 32-bit Windows 2003 SP2 server. I installed SQL Native Client 10.0 on server vCenter Server 64-bit, and then I could make my DSN ODBC 64-bit connection. The vCenter Server install could very well recognize it, but after the installation got going he wrong on the database with the following error:

  Error 25003.Setup cannot create vCenter Server repository. The main reasons for this failure are:

  -The database is installed using insensitive case.

  -The database is remote and the client database version does not match the database version. If this problem continues to persist, see KB 1003960 for further assistance.

  Well, I know that the version of the client and the version of database do not match. SQL native client on the sql server is 9.00.5000.00 and the version on the server vCenter Server is 10.50.1600.1.

  I know that this version of vCenter is compatible with an installation of 32-bit sql server 2005 on a 32-bit server, 2003.

  I am not familiar too if they want upgrade me sql native client on the sql server, but is not compatible with the version of sql server on this server and there are several database for other applications on this server, so I don't want to jump into something like that.

  You cannot share of CPU or memory, because vSphere works as a failover cluster, rather than a compute cluster. Sharing of disk space can be achieved by using virtual machines (virtual storage facilities) on each host, using the local space of each host and present it as shared network storage device. However, most of these devices requires a minimum of 3 guests. You can run a shared on a single host storage devices, but you would still not any redundancy in the event of a host failure.

  When '@proddb01' is not used, then sqlplus can only connect to a local database, & there is no local database on the client system

  Yes, you will lose the connection to vcenter. Ideally, remove the host to vCenter, change IP and it readd back (vcenter will need access to this vlan 200 also).

  What type of shared storage using you, and you haven't set up the presentation of the logic unit number for the second host in the same way that you did for the first host? Do you manage the host with vCenter Server, or if you use two autonomous host computers?

The thing I don't understand until you can fix, the esx host must be in maintenance mode, which means no VMs, including the vcenter server, which is the only way you can do a right click on the host and choose restore. Now how can I fix if the server is in maintenance mode and my vcenter server is down?

  With only one host in place and vCenter Server as a virtual machine running on this host, you cannot use Update Manager. Your options are either interactively update the host using a CD or update patch / the host from the command line using esxcli.
