  I called Palm support who told me to use commas for 1 second pauses, even if this was not documented any where ever I could find. After thanking them and hanging up I tried. It does not work. Commas are deleted as soon as you click DONE to save the changes.   This will be a major issue for the business users and the fix should be in the next push of software. This cannot be considered a new feature request, it's a bug. Even in charge think commas should work. This seems to be a mistake to design and test.

  You have asked two different questions here. If you receive an error 4013, then take a look at this document of support for the troubleshooting steps.  If you see the 9-4005, 4013, 4014 error when you restore your device iOS - Apple Support

  With regard to access to your voicemail from another phone, you must talk to your cellular operator and know how to access voicemail from another phone. They control the voice mail and would be able to explain their procedures, if you don't find anything on their website. It usually requires that call you your phone number, then press a series of buttons to enter your password to enter the voicemail server.

  I see that the application to your iPhone phone displays a message, and the application crashes when you try to access voicemail. I want to assure you that you can use your iPhone as you should no problem. Looks like you did some great troubleshooting so far, I have a few more things for you to try.

  First of all, please make sure that you have a backup of important data from your iPhone using this article: the backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

  I'm new to blackberry and just flipped to android and I have 2 issues that were not resolved after discussions with Verizon support:

  (1) it doesn't seem to be a way to add your voicemail pin code, I see the option in the settings but it does not work. The fall down has a grayed on box (empty) for a number of phone and then, here's the box password or PIN that takes my pin code but does not add to the phone number. From the table when you hold the 1 you always get voice prompt for you pine...

  (2) voice search is a nice feature but it dosnt seem to be a voice for the cards search option. It is a great feature on google maps, especially when you're driving and looking for a paricular place but did not have the address.

  These 2 items are a big oversight that usability is concerned and if all goes well treated in a near future update...

  Voicemail in sailing is your carrier. I had the same problem with bell in the Canada. You can have raised them the issue with the support of Blackberry, and they can get away with Virizon to activate.

  As a simple solution, that you can do is to enter your voicemail administrative options, there is an option to disable password. This way when it dials the number, it doesn't have a password to listen to your messages. Don't worry, nobody can you access voicemail from another phone.

  Another solution is to create a contact in your address book called voicemail2 and there you can enter the breaks and the password and add this as a speedial.

  Voice search is not currently available on map of blackberry. Not sure if the 3rd party google maps have it, but I thought I saw one in the world of Blackberry.

  It will automatically only when you assign speed dialing keys.  To assign a speed dial just hold the digit or the letter you want to assign, and then contact.

  I try to access my voicemail access number and I've seen on this forum that it is accessible via the Menu-> Options-> voice mail.  However, I do not have this option on my Blackberry "BOLD".  My carrier is AT & T.  Is this something that AT & T centralizes / maintains?  I think the number would be an option by phone.

  Y at - it another way to access the voice mail configuration options?  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a little miffed.

  I have difficulties to access my voicemail from my Droid.  When someone asks me my password, I type on the keyboard and enter my password but my voicemail does not acknowledge receipt of my password, I believe, because no dial tone that never happens when I get the numbers on the keyboard.  What I am doing wrong?

  Don't sound like you do something wrong. Maybe you can try this, put in place so that your PIN is entered automatically. Settings-> settings for voicemail to call tap the Start Menu-> settings screen->. Now in the text box that has the * 86 in, add two commas, then your PIN to four digits. Then it should look like this: "* 86, xxxx" the xxxx would be your PIN. Personally, I like to add a comma in addition and number one. Which not only automatically between the PIN but will also enter one to start to play my new messages also. So mine looks like this: "* 86, xxxx, 1" and again xxxx is your PIN. If it is automatically entered your PIN maybe it will solve your problem. I hope this helps.

  By default, the key to bypass the welcome message is #, but this can be changed. To change an individual subscriber, go to the unit admin-> subscribers-> entry of the appellant. You can use Bulk Edit in the depot of tools to change subscribers in bulk.

  I just bought a new blackberry curve and while playing around the voicemail speed dial option has been removed.  I tried to figure out how to reset the 'W' or speed dial #1 for the voice mail option.

  Create a new contact for your voicemail number entry and assign it to the first position on your speed dial list.

  1. Open the address book application and create a new entry for your voicemail number.
  2. Open the phone application.
  3. Display the menu and click View speed dial list.
  4. Make sure that the entry in the 1 position is highlighted.
  5. Open the menu and click Edit.
  6. Select the new entry of contact with your voicemail number. The name and the telephone number of the new entry is displayed in the speed dial list.
  7. Open the menu and click close.
  8. Test the new short code by pressing the 1 key. Check your voicemail number is called.

• iOS 10 Bluetooth issues with Visual Voicemail

  I just updated my iPhone 6 more for iOS 10 and use a Plantronics Voyager Edge bluetooth headset. After update I removed the unit and reset the network settings and then paired the headset to my phone.

  I had a few problems with the audio. First of all, no incoming call notification and audio number are routed to the headset. Before the update registered contacts would be announced. If the call was not associated with a registered contact, he would announce the incoming number.

  Second, when access to Visual Voicemail with the headphones plugged voicemail audio output is not routed the headset. If I use it to play music or other audio he paused but always delivers voicemail audio to the phone.

  Has anyone seen elsewhere this behavior or had similar problems?

  Hello, I have an iPhone 5s which I've updated to iOS 10 this morning.

  Everything works as expected, however, it seems that the transcript of the voicemail does not work and actually broke my visual voicemail.

  I am in Australia, carrier is Vodafone, e-mail voice Visual is supported. And I Siri language English (Australia)

  When I opened the visual voicemail, I get my voicemail as expected. "Home" and "Edit" is clickable.

  

  When I click on the voicemail, namely and where I expect to see the transcript, the details appear with no transcript. And internet loading icon appears next to the battery icon. The detail view disappears immediately, and I'm taken back to the first screen.

  

  This happens if quickly, I don't even have a chance to really listen to my voicemail.

  Once the details disappear, I find myself with just the list of voicemail, notes, however, 'Hi' and 'Edit' is grayed out for editing. The only way to bring back must force quite the phone application and restart.

  

  If I try to access the view in detail several times, finally the phone gave up and allows me to play the voicemail. Usually after 5-6 tries.

  I have hard restart the phone (press and hold home and power button / stop), reset the network settings and tried different sim cards.

  Any thoughts?

  I also have glitches with voicemail. I received several messages today after updating to iOS 10. This particular glitch is irritating - whenever I click on a specific voicemail to play, it comes down to show the play button then snaps back to the top before I can click on play. She does over and over again (as well as not showing transcripts).

  You want to communicate with your carrier. Your means of troubleshooting access to your voicemail only unit is extremely limited because it is a managed function of carrier.

  You can try to reboot your iPhone or resetting network settings through settings > general > reset, but I doubt he will bare much fruit. It is more than likely that's going to be a conversation with the carrier that suits him.
