• Searchable text with html in dps?

  We try to do a folio of dps who has brand-pages and searchable text. If the text is html will be available in the dps folio? Should be a html article stand alone or can be rather than html in indesign? It seems that I've seen a folio magazine dps with a search function but I can't remember which. • Access the raw text of TextFlow and search

  I'm trying to understand the best way to conduct a search in a TextFlow to locate a specific piece of text (a word or set of words).
  I had a hard time finding ways to actually access the raw text of the TextFlow responsible. Once it's loaded, I need to be able to search through the text, find the location of the text and show that the container.
  
  Essentially, add search capabilities to the example of Pagination.
  
  The only thing I can think of who looks like he can run would be to export the TextFlow in an XML file, and then search on the XML file. Once this is done, I have to understand what position in the file xml, the text was and load the container with this position...

  I found a sample which is essentially what you're proposing. The example of CheckSpelling is a great place to start to browse the text in the TextFlow.

  I am trying to replace the text ' ^ 2 ' with '²' on photoshop by a search and replace, because there are many cases that on my image, but I can't seem to access any feature in photoshop which can do a search and replace for anything other than simple text. Is there a css solution, or a plugin that would allow me to do this? I have not sought on anything either on google search, although I will update this thread if I find something

• CC issues Indesign with El Capitan (10.11.3) - missing images and deleted text

  Anyone having problems with Indesign CC works on El Capitan? I am currently working on a draft brochure and discovered a number of anomalies with images goes missing and the text boxes is removed or converted to a fixed form.

  I wonder if it's a CC issue or something related to El Capitan.

  You must download the latest version of InDesign CC 2015.3. Access your desktop CC app (in the menu bar on Mac) and install the update.

  If you don't see an update, try refreshing the desktop CC app by pressing Cmd + Option + R and you should see an update.

  Features specific to newer versions will be lost or flattened when they open files, reflow of text is possible and even probable in both senses.

  A durable workflow requires that you all on the same version.

  I want to find and replace text within a structure of book, it would be useful if I could do it in documents that are not visibly open (Constants.FS_MakeVisible = false). Does anyone have an approach to find and replace in documents that are not visibly open? Or can someone confirm that this is only possible with TextSelection, which means that it does not work in documents open invisible?

  I looked into this and I was able to reproduce the problem. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a perfect solution. Running in the debugger, I found that the failure occurs with the Find() call. All paragraphs, the text ranges, etc. are valid... it's just that the Find() call fails to find anything.

  I found that if you turn on/off the display, all of a sudden the Find() operation works with the hidden document:

  doc. IsOnScreen = true;

  doc. IsOnScreen = false;

  I don't know if this is a practical solution and of course, you may as well open visible in the first place. Would be of no help to just disable the updates with the interface?

  I'm sorry I couldn't find a complete solution. It might be possible to appeal to something that makes the hidden document searchable, but I did not understand it.

  1. go to a computer and go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID and password.

  2. go find iPhone and all devices at the top, click on your iPhone.

  3. click on lost Mode and put in a phone number where you can be reached.

  4. click Next, then enter a message that says something along the lines, "Please find my iPhone, please call this number to return."

• How to change the space between folder icon and the text on the personal toolbar?

  Did you check the value of the left margin of the text?
