  • Skype crashes when you attempt to connect

I use Windows 7. When I run Skype, it shows the circle indicates that it is signed and immediately crashes. I think it's a problem with Internet Explorer not working not well, and I've tried it on several versions of Internet Explorer. On IE 8,9,10 and 11, it does the same thing.

Thus, for some reason, reinstalling Skype for the sixth time managed to solve the problem. I apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Firefox crashes when you attempt to print

In the case of Firefox, if I try to print a page (either through typing the command-P or via the file menu), it crashes immediately (even before wearing to the top of the pop-up window to select printing options). It accomplishes this task for all pages (ie. content of the page does not seem to matter). Also, if I go to the same URL in another browser like Chrome, the page can be printed without incident.

  • Dynamic link manager repeatedly crashes when you try to launch applications of CC

Whenever I try to run most of the applications of CC, the application crashes and become unusable for a few minutes. When it crashes varies slightly between applications (first Pro and After Effects crashes at launch, Photoshop crashes soon after the presentation of the main window, etc.). I checked the console after noticed what had happened repeatedly and seeing the following message, repeat once per second (with a number of instance iteration):

10/27/13 3:56:13.725 PM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[258]: ([0x0-0x5b05b].com.adobe.dynamiclinkmanager.application[537]) Job appears to have crashed: Abort trap: 6

I downloaded the log mentioned in the console here: http://pastebin.com/iWBiykSP

Someone else has similar problems? Y at - it an update that I don't know about dynamic link manager that resolves this problem? Should I submit a bug report for it?

Hi, I had the same problem you do, and I couldn't find any workingsolution on the net.

  • Microsoft Office regularly crashes when you perform a save as on a network location mapped

Microsoft Office regularly crashes when you perform a save as to any place of the network off the internal hard drives on my laptop. The version is 14.0.6112.5000 (64-bit).

The question seems to relate to a problem with the Windows Explorer, I find that if I first open the folder by browing through Windows Explorer crash is much less likely to occur. It is not always, but usually after the 4th or 5th attempt I can save the document. Once I made the first save as a new document, I didn't backup after problems.

This happens only with the Office suite of products - I have no similar problems with third-party programs.

What is happening is the Save dialog box under opens, but when I try to navigate through the program crashes. I can usually (but not 100% of the time) scroll to reach readers intgernal, but almost always crashes when you try to reach the network mapped drives unless I have already sailed on these places by car outside the word.

It is a relatively new problem. I did a clean install of Windows 7 (x 64) on my laptop in November 2011, everything was fine until April. My thought is that a .dll file is corrupt, or there could be a problem of accidentally unplugging a smartphone or Tablet without ejecting it first.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated, I really don't want to go through the hassle to do a clean install and then restore all my programs again.

    Thank you!

    Julie

I think that the first thing would be to try a repair.
Start > Control Panel > programs and features > click on your Office installation > click Change > repair

    I hope this helps.

Installation of Adobe met an unexpected failure when you attempt to install the first instance of AdobeAcrobatPro DC.  It is the exact error message and seems to be the case for a number of users.  I am running Windows 7 and was already able to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and have Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX installed successfully.  It's the exact error message, there is NO error code!   It seems as there is no support number to contact Adobe to, and the only way to receive the 'support' is through the forum.   PLEASE ANSWER!

  • Firefox crashes when you try to attach a file to gmail compose

Laptop Vista 32. When you try to attach a file to a gmail account, compose explore dialog and then firefox crashes. Happens every time and began (I think) with the 16 or 17 years old version. Updated plugins, crossed of troubleshooting on the Help menu, I tried safe mode. All to nothing does not. IE works fine.

After reviewing all services and startup programs using msconfig, I've isolated the problem to a conflict with Dell Media Center in starting. I deleted the software (preinstalled on your laptop) since I never use anyway, re-enabled the acceleration hardware Flash and deleted the line mode protected in the file flash cfg.

NO MORE CRASHES when you try to attach a file to a message in gmail!

Thanks for all your help - could not have corrected it without you.

    Gentoo/Linux/GNU

Firefox crashes when you access bookmarks or history via the toolbar. Unresponsive and must be killed.

This is a new installation, there was no previous installation of firefox before 6 was installed.

One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
