Acrobat Reader keeps freezing my PC when I try to fill a PDF form
I thought it was just my laptop old father who was having the problem, but when I tried it on my PC with Windows 10 exactly the same thing happened. I don't know why I never changed the settings and it freezes just out of the blue two PCs on 2 different OS. I can't anything but hold the power button down for my PC for something else. How can I fix?
Hi Brian Kreiger,
Could you please let me know the exact drive version and the version of the OS on your system?
This only happens while filling in a special form or other forms too?
Try to complete additional forms and check to see if you encounter the same problem with all.
Also, make sure that it is a form to fill out.
Also try referring to this article: Troubleshooting of errors, freezes | Adobe Reader | Windows
Let us know if that helps.

When I try to fill in a PDF form, it blocks my system. How can I fix?
I am running Acrobat X Pro on Windows 10. When I try to fill in PDF forms, my system crashes. How can I get help to solve this?
How to get to a version even earlier and therefore still less compatible, Acrobat would solve this problem?
If anything, you need to upgrade to a newer version, as XI or DC (both officially compatible with Windows 10).

There are printers intalled but when we decide to print a pdf form, it shows no printer
Hello
I put printers in place on my computer windows 7. From time to time, when I try to print a pdf form, it shows all available printers. When I do a system restore, it brings back the printers. This happens often. Is there a problem in the system that does this often?
Thank you

When I try to open a PDF file with adobe Acrobat reader, windows media center automatically opens. How to prevent this? I just want to open the PDF file with Acrobat reader.
The solution I think. If you right-click on one of the files and select open the file locations it now combined the file with adobe reader.
Yes - you simply need to change the associated file (and path) back to Adobe Reader. (If that's your choice PDF reader.)
If you did this:
Press the Windows Logo and R key at the same time to bring up the dialog box RUN.
Once you have the dialog box up, type in the following command and press OK...cmd /k ftype AcroExch.Document
That he return with? Should be something like:
AcroExch.Document = "C:\Program files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" '%1'

Adobe Acrobat is NOT COMPATIBLE with Windows Vista... it blocks any browser or operating system when I try to download or open any file PDF... y at - it a patch?
When I try to open a PDF file in IE 7 or Firefox 3.6, or just on the desktop, I get a sign that says:
"Program Compatibility Wizard".
"This program has known compatibility issues - check online if the solutions are available on the Microsoft Web site. If we find solutions, Windows automatically displays a Web site that lists the steps, you can take. »
"Program: . Acrobat Reader 7. Editor: "Adobe,location: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe.
"Acrobat Reader 7 has a compatibility issue with this version of Windows. For an update compatible with this version of windows, contact Adobe. »
"Search for solutions online - Run program - Cancel . "
If I click on one of the 3 buttons listed above, the browser, it blocks or breaks down the entire operating system.
Does anyone know of a patch for this... Adobe, what I find, has updated for Acrobat Reader, but they don't say if this is a patch for this problem of Vista incompatibility.
I searched on the basis of knowledge of Microsoft and this forum and I can't find anything definitive on this question.
I can not even download a PDF file, and still less open and looking at its content.
Known fixes?
Thank you

Hello
When I try to view a PDF document from within a Web site, I get the above error message.
If I navigate to the folder location where the PDF file is stored and run it from there, it will open without any problems. If I go to other PC and try to run the same files on the same site, then they will be OK. It just seems to be this PC.
Adobe Acrobat 9.1
Internet explore 8
Windows 7 (32 bit)
I think the problem is that someone tried to install Adobe Reader 10 on the same PC, and he failed and left something behind (I'm sure I read somewhere that Adobe Reader and Acrobat may not be on the same PC, because it causes problems).
I checked C:\Program Files\Adobe and deleted all references to the reader. Did the same thing in the registry. Could he have installed anything anywhere else? Is it possible to make sure that an installation has failed has been removed completely?
Thank you
Bruce
Hi Bruce33,
You can use the Acrobat cleaning tool to remove Acrobat / Reade completely from the machine.
You can download the tool from: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Also, make sure that you update Acrobat 9 for the latest patch that is 9.5.5 and check.

Hello
How can I get rid of the "your free trial period has finished" screen when you try to open a pdf file in Adobe Reader?
I got a trial of Dreamweaver, but it was too complicated for me.
It was not the case for cancell the free track so I let it run its course and expires. He then deleted programs that is very well (I didn't buy), but he has also deleted my Acrobat Reader.
I have re-installed that but when I try to open a pdf file, all I get is the screen "your free trial period is over," which only allows you to buy or out and out all together.
Needless to say that I am very UNIPRESEED with Adobe to spoil my programs and now they want to charge me $ 29 for a problem that they have created.
Can someone help me with this very annoying problem?

If this is the free software Adobe reader, then it will not be a free trial that are associated with message. Maybe what you have installed is not the drive.

I signed up for the basic acrobat reader conversion program, but he won't let me not convert PDF to Word. I looked at troubleshooting tips and how advice but after I connect it just says this is not supported and directs me back to register for the conversion program. I would rather talk to someone, but I can't find a phone number or the option for a cat. I have a PC. Any help would be appreciated.
