Acrobat works on IE but not Firefox

Click document on the web and it does not appera - nothing happens. In Internet Explorer, no problem.

Tried to "" subject: plugins "and found Adobe PDF Plugin for Firefox" 15.8.20082
I think it's VERY RECENT PROBLEM

You might already have checked this, but just in case...

When you install Firefox, it is by default to display PDF files in an internal viewer. If you haven't already done so, you need to change only on the Options on the page by following the steps in this article: How to disable the built-in PDF Viewer and use another Viewer. (Note: it is important to filter using using the PDF and do not looking for Adobe.)

If you have made this change before, try to choose a different option like opening in Adobe Reader (outside Firefox) and test this. If it works, then try to change it again using the Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox) plugin.

Any improvement?

    Hello

    I do not understand or cannot know what I did wrong. I created a ToolTip for the manufacture of the last product (diameter of 4 inches (special order) brass water revitalizer) on page: http://www.alivewater.net/order.htm

    It works in IE but not Firefox... I can't understand why... can you help me and see what I did wrong?

    Eternally grateful,

    The biggest problem I see with the page is that there is no defined document type.  This means browsers have to guess what validation to use to guess what effects should arrive.  If you click on edit->-> category title/encoding Page Properties, you must define the Document Type (DTD).  I.e. once set DW will define the type of document for you.  You can then save and re-upload your document and we can see if the same problem persists.

  • my site works in IE but not firefox

    This is my web page:
    http://www.Andrew-Leonard.co.UK/Mallorca/Mallorca%20ferns.htm

    It usess css to define the layers and javascript to show and hide layers. It uses a system of dhtml menu by Milonic to run javascript code

    This is part of the code for layers:

    <style type="text/css">
    #Layer01 {position: absolute; left: 300px; top: 50px; z-index:1;}
    ...........
    #Layer33 {position: absolute; left: 300px; top: 50px; z-index:33;}
    </style>

    This is part of the javascript to show/hide layers:

    <script>
    function showlayer(layer){
    var myLayer = document.getElementById(layer).style.display;
    if(myLayer=="none"){
    document.getElementById(layer).style.display="block";
    } else {
    document.getElementById(layer).style.display="none";
    }
    }
    </script>

    It works OK in IE but not firefox

    If you select Web Console of Firefox (Ctrl + Shift + K), it will tell you errors is to find and the line of code that is found on.
    The problem, it seems to have at the front is that IDS are case-sensitive: 'layer02' is not the same thing as "Layer02", for example.

    There may be errors once again it happened, but all current browsers come with tools that needed to rule out any other problem.

  • Toolbar EPSON E - Web Print works with IE but not Firefox 28 on Windows 8 PC

    Seems like the toolbar Epson E - Web Print stopped working after the update for Firefox 27. Switched to Internet Explorer and the toolbar works very well.

    Well, when they say they can't, they mean that they do not meet up-to-date with changes to the browser. I do not know changes for Firefox causing the extension no longer works. Maybe other users Epson who encounter the same problem will come up with a solution?

  • Videos work in Chrome, but not Firefox or IE

    Hello

    I created a site of Muse, where I joined mp4 videos that work very well in Chrome (Mac), but do not work when tested on Firefox or IE (PC). My goal is that these videos are accessible by a variety of different users of a versatility of good browser. It is currently integrated in an iframe. Thank you!

    You can also try the following: -.

    1 import the video to the current tab

    Go to file > add files to download and select the file you want to import. This will copy the file into the active tab by muse.

    What problems are you having with the Skype extension?

    Just to go through the usual:

    (1) does show on the addons page and can it be activated? You can open it only by using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

    In the left column, click Extensions. Then check the list on the right. Extensions disabled down cluster.

    Note: It is normal in 40 of Firefox to display a message that the extension is not checked.

    (2) must its button be added to the toolbar? You can use the Customize tab to detect if it is not in the expected location. See: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars.

    Are there other issues? I do not use this extension myself.

  • I created show and hide features in InDesign I want to export to interactive PDF format. These functions work when seen in Acrobat on the desktop, but not on iPad/Tablet - why?

    I created show and hide features in InDesign I want to export to interactive PDF format. These functions work when seen in Acrobat on the desktop, but not on iPad/Tablet - why?

    Why? Most likely because the PDF Viewer on the Tablet is too stupid to deal with show/hide functionality.

    You could try PDF Expert of Readdle on qpdf Notes Pro on Android and iOS devices.

    Depending on how the show/hide was created during the export of InDesign, it can work in viewers. Otherwise, you will need to open PDF files in Acrobat and edit features show/hide something more digests of PDF device viewers.

    BTW, you will encounter the same issues with the PDF display components in web browsers.

    I hope this can help.

    I tried to clear the cache and delete cookies from gmail, but none worked. I can access gmail from my phone and through IE but not firefox. I also use the gmail gadget to my igoogle page and it does not work either.

    Tried all that precedes, and nothing has worked. I don't think it would be though, it is a new installation of windows 7 with very little installed. I wasn't expecting to find any virus/malware. The only thing found was an adware but removing those does not solve the problem.

    Edit: Uninstall and reinstall firefox did not work either.
    Edit2: I initially deleted all cookies associated with google and it does not work. I went back and remove all cookies, and it works now. Sorry I don't know what cookie was the cause of the problem.
