  One reason might be that your iPhone has more space free storage to your iPad. (Assuming that the parameter storage to optimize is activated.) More storage, photos more will remain on your device at full resolution. In theoray at least.

  just an answer about the quality of the photos printed from my iPad mini.  They have been printing too dark) printed just the same images from my PC and they came out good. So I'm still looking for a solution to this problem. My printer is brand new. Epson expression 530 XP.  Anyone got any ideas on the problem. Sorry to be a bother.
