  Have a HP ENVY 4520 printer all-in-one. It is a flat bed scanner. However, when scanning I can make a page at a time, which saves the page in a separate file. So if I scan 10 pages it saves as 10 separate files.

  How can I scan multiple pages and save them in a single comprehensive document?

  Printing software seems to have an icon that would allow me to do (a photo of a scanner with a document with a + in it). However, it is gray and I can't select it. How to activate this feature for my printer?

  Check the option Show Scan Prview is enabled and set scanning in 300 DPI or lower resolution.

  I've upgraded to Windows 7 a couple of days.  Normally, I run a full scan of MSE once a week at night while I'm SLEEPING.  Since upgrading to Windows 7; MSE 5% complete the next morning.  I don't know why it happened - please let me how to fix it.

  I suspect that the problem is that your computer came into fashion "sleep" during execution of MSE.  There are a number of discussions related to that on this forum as the following: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect/forum/mse-protect_scanning/why-doesn option is to change your power settings to prevent the "sleep mode", and then change them back.  What I do is run a small program called insomnia which remains visible on the screen, so I remember to turn off once the scan is complete: http://insomnia.en.softonic.com/

  Unfortunately, 8Gb is the maximum ram (IE 2 x 4 GB modules) which can be installed in the machine - I have used the same model exactly myself.
