  Please right-click on any PDF on your system, then go to properties > under general, you will find "opens with". Here you will see 'change' option, by clicking on it, wil give you a window from which you can choose the Acrobat Standard XI as a default for PDF files.

  Before execution of DocuSign, we have used to digitize a manually signed document to a PDF file, and then store the PDF file in a file of human resources share.  We would then use Adobe Writer Standard to assign a password to read/write to the PDF file.  Now, we use DocuSign to have electronically signed documents and download the PDF of the DocuSign in our files of human resources.  However Adobe Acrobat Writer we cannot assign a password.  It appears a dialog box saying "' you cannot change security on this document because the document is signed or certified".  We want to continue to be able to store the PDF file in our file sharing HR to restrict who can see off on the part of the passwords.  Is there a way we can assign a password for the PDF file once it has been downloaded from DocuSign?

  You can use the Adobe PDF printer to print PDF signed to unsigned PDF and then encrypt the result.

  THE PROBLEM:

  If I add the < class li = "classol" > in front of the links, it messes up the alignment and the link turns red. I'm sure it's something simple, but I'm baffled by this thing the entire list. I tried all possible arrangement between these two and that you are unable to watch and 'Act' correctly.

  Also, you have a novice common mistake which is division - it is.  Try to simplify your page layout using some divisions keys for items that will be used once as the header, content, menu, footer.  Then use the classes of division for the elements that you can use more than once per page.   If all goes well, a super simple question to someone... Driving me crazy right now! I have a folder on my desk of RAW (image) files, that I imported into LR up and worked. So now when I open LR and access this folder, the images are seen behind a grey colour and cannot be selected and / or worked on. Only way around it so far has been rename images, re-import them to LR and then expand them, which is of course very time consuming. How can I access these images and expand them?

  Hey Phillipe,

  You must rebuild your application using the App DPS constructor if you want to change the application type, it does not change automatically when you switch to Professional Edition. Then, you will also need to send it back to the App Store.

  Professional Edition allows you to create an app for iPad and iPhone. The type of application depends on the type of content you offer with your App several versions of the same folio to different devices are known as "rendition". You must choose "Multi Folio" to it. If you want to allow your readers to subscribe to your publication, you need to select 'Multi sheet with iTunes subscription.

  Your second question can be answered globally in a post on the forum since it is just too much. There is a lot of documentation available on the DPS help pages on the themes of different types of app, app creation and distribution of the app. Maybe start with this article, Presentation of the different types of applications DPS and go from there. There is also a Guide available for download edition since the dashboard of DPS that I can recommend it.

  OK, I was kind of what went wrong here.

  The snap has been loaded from a powershell module. When the module is removed and added again, the snap ceases to function, but also can not be added again.

  If the snap is loaded first outside the module everything works fine until you try never to remove or add snap-in module.

  First try to reset the SMC & LANDAU 2 - 3 times back to back by LANDAU and Intel iMac SMC resets with all devices disconnected.

If this does not work, then the SuperDrive is end of life and should be replaced.   This should be resolved by "restart" from the App store. To do this, go to

  • "Settings"-> "iTunes Store and App Store"-> click on your Apple ID at the top-> 'disconnect '.
  • Then reconnect.
  • If it does not, repeat and restart your iPhone before you make it back.

• Trying properly anchor images for my text once they have already been placed.

  I am writing my thesis in InDesign, which contains many images and is about 300 pages.  A part of the text has been placed from Word, but I wrote most of it in InDesign.  After each project goes through major changes, I move/remove/add text which now is like aligned images and I spend the hours of moving images to where they should be.  Is it possible to anchor text images after that that they have already been placed in the document so that they move?  More specifically, though, I don't want the images related to a specific line or Word as my notes, but rather an entire page, which means that they must move only if a whole page of text is moved, to go with the design and presentation of my thesis.

  P.S. I use SC.5

  1. If you want to dock, you must anchor text.
  2. If you want to have on a place on the page but not inline, use a style object that defines the position relative to the page, such as the edge, margin, column properties, etc.
  3. If an image is placed and not grounded see you near the right image above (all versions LTR CS5.5 and later) a small symbol, drag it into the text.

  One feature that is specific desktop application is the search engine.

  However, with a correctly, search engine optimized PDF a web search engine / device can catalog the attached files in the portfolio.
