Adding coordinates to 8900 blackBerry Smartphones

Y at - it sort of contact details can be added - i.e. many of my contacts have many particularly mobile telephone numbers (work, personal,...) and I would be able to add a 2nd or even 3rd title retail mobile number. I can't find any way to do this (since 3 weeks now BB). Any ideas?

There is only 1 'mobile' field in contacts. If you enter other numbers in other areas, when you go to dial numbers, you will get a prompt on what number to choose.

  • Oweners of change for a Curve 8900 blackBerry Smartphones

I just got a new 9380 curve and have changed the devices successfully. Now I have what to spend on my old Curve 8900 to a member of the family with their SIM card and I have problems with their registration to the device. Like creating BB email, change the e-mail accounts and make a new profile for internet services of BB.

When a problem arises I follow the steps listed, but without success

    Any suggestions?

1 wipe the device.  Read this:

    2. make sure that the new card SIM HAS the BlackBerry Plan data on this account.

  • Themes for BB 8900 blackBerry Smartphones

I visited the great link for BB themes:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=bold&message.ID=1067&query.ID=189301#...

but there's barely any theme for 8900 model. Is it possible to install the theme for 8800 and using it on my 8900? I'm looking for a theme that can accommodate a few extra icons on my homescreen.

The program for creating themes, Plazmic CDK (Content Developer Kit), has not yet been updated to version 4.7. Their most recent album was 4.6 so far, so the "BOLD" theme builders or developers will be impossible to create themes for the 8900 or storm.

Hang tight. They will release an update soon.

And to answer your question, no, you can't install a theme 8800 8900 device because the screen resolution is different. A theme is designed based on the blackberry screen, then because the 8900's resolution (480 x 360) is unique to the other series 8xxx, he will be able to read all the other themes that a 480 x 360 theme, which like I mentioned above, was not created or updated updated theme generator program.

I hope I did that is easy to understand.

    Hello!

Sorry to point which is obvious, but since line 8 contains the words "provided by your mobile phone provider", I think that the question should be addressed to them... you should contact them, tell them what you do and get them to provide the necessary credentials.

  • Media loading on BlackBerry 8900 blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I have a BlackBerry 8900 and struggling to load media on this subject.

I'm using a netbook with a 1024 x 600 screen and the BB Media Manager won't start - fails with an error message indicating a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and 16-bit color depth is required.

I have only a single Windows computer, that is of this netbook. All other computers that I have access to a Linux distribution, primarliy Fedora or openSUSE - even my desktop computer has Fedora charged thereon. I don't like being locked in the software benefits and systems but the BB is the exception to the rule because it provides the services that I need with the life of the battery.

I tried to copy the files on the SD card but the BB does not pick up there.

How can I go about loading media on the SD card that the BB can actually use?

I tried to contact RIM but they referred me to my mobile operator referring me to the RIM.

Apart from this, a question, I think that the BB is the best mobile I've ever had - just wish I could get the best integration with my IMAP with BIS account. BES is not an option - the company is too small and we do not use one of the supported platforms.

    Lookie:

Allow the storage of mass on your card and simply drag and drop files with the map of media such as a removable drive.

  • BLACKBERRY 8900 blackBerry smartphones... sending e-mails

It's probably a very simple explanation here... Sorry if I'm stupid.

Just upgraded with ORANGE and am really pleased with my 8900... My first Blackberry ever.

I want to send an E mail... I'm going to "compose E-mail" and put a name... prefils with a list of my contacts. When I select a name [contact] I get the message "this article has no e-mail address."

It makes sense... but should I have imported address E Mail from my laptop at an earlier stage?

I am on my first Blackberry and it is the 8900 as well. I still know he and I had the same problem as you. I just found this quick and easy go to your e-mail messages, and then copy / paste the e-mail addresses in your contacts. Probably not the answer you are looking for, but it worked for me.

    Ciao

  • BlackBerry 8900 Blackberry Smartphones can sign up with AT & T

I just bought a Blackberry 8900 off a messageboard. The phone has been previously unlocked tmobile, so it wasn't a problem. The problem is that I can not register the phone with BIS of ATT. They told me that the phone is still registered with tmobile and they will have to release him. TMobile however tells me that the only company that can release it is AT & T. I tried to pass on the phone and go to the host Routing Table and registry and all is fine. However, I can not register the phone always with the AT & T Web site. Any suggestions?

First of all, do you know which operator the device was LAST recorded, Tmo or ATT?

This carrier is that it is always saved. Ask your seller to call their carrier and the output PIN.

If they cannot, ask for your money for a non-working camera - because it will not work until the PIN is released.

    Good luck.

You will need to reload the operating system on your device.  Your data is lost, unfortunately, there is no way to save at this point.

Here are the instructions on how to reload the software.

  • My Curve 8900 blackBerry Smartphones has slowed.

I often get the symbol of 'the clock' spinning round and have to wait to open a file or to take measures for a period of time. I don't have a lot of data stored on the device and wonder what the problem is!

So, the 8900 does not have a separate media storage area. It's been a while but I think that you can connect to Desktop Manager and transfer the pictures on the memory of the device to the computer. Once you do this, you can use mass storage mode to copy and paste on the press card. Sorry, it has been a long time since I have used the 8900.

You can not put MS Office on the BlackBerry.

You CAN install applications for example DocumentsToGo, which includes WordToGo, SheetsToGo and SlidesToGo that will show MS Word documents, Excel and PowerPoint.

An upgrade of the OS 4.5 on your device will include the standard version of the basis for these applications.

What is your operating system: look at the Options > about, third line down, starting with a 'v.4.xxx '.
