ADF faces table scrolling policy page event checkbox

Hello

I have a table with a checkbox. the box has a converter for a varchar2 (1) of enabled_flag.

The first page of my table went OK.

But when I change the table page the enabled_flag is always false.

Anyone know what event fires when I change the page in a table? I need that because the box has a Condition attribute refresh.

Thank you

  • How to clear the selection on an ADF faces table?

    I thought I'd call setSelectedRowKeys (null) gives the desired result. However it is not. Can you think of a reason why it would not clear the selection? What should I do?

    Here's the specific scenario:

    I have a two ADF faces table tell A and B with a column each and both of them have simple lines and their rowSelection property is set to "single". Now the requirement is when a line is selected from A, it must clear all selections of B and vice versa. So I registered selectionListeners on the tables and the code that is running inside this method does the following for the table has not been selected :

    tablenNotSelected.setSelectedRowKeys (null);

    lets say, I click on a first line, then on a row of B. So far so good. So if I click on the A, the control won't to the SelectionListener method. I think that SelectionEvent isn't getting fired no doubt because the previous selection has not been erased.

    Just checked in my application (11.1.2.3, 1000 + lines) and it works as expected.
    You can try to reproduce this problem with simple test cases and if it works then compare table and properties of VO.

    Hi all, finally I found the solution to this exception.

    I did the following steps to solve the problem.

    1. create a bean and use this method

    public void tooManyObjectsMatchExceptioHandeler() {}

    Add the code in the event here...

    System.out.println ("inside the Handeler");

    FacesMessage message =

    new FacesMessage ("Type your friendly message");

    message.setSeverity (FacesMessage.SEVERITY_ERROR);

    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

    fc.addMessage (null, message);

    }

    Now, drag and drop the file above java projects in data controls in the browser of the application.

    2. drag a workflow method call (where u get exception as Houston-25013) and call this method as an activity of the exception handler,

    Now, do a right click on this--> definition of the page method call create or go to definition of the page--> create a link Action method and select the above method in the select and file def page this method call in the workflow then go to properties inspector set out fixed property (here name of activities of method call) u give.

  • [Table ADF Faces component] How to save the current state?

    Hello

    the ADF faces table component is great!
    You can drag-and - drop columns, sort columns...

    Now, we have an obligation to save the State of the table for subsequent sessions.
    The return of the user wants to get the same State as last time (order requirement or sort of column), even if he comes back a few days later.
    Is this possible?

    I discovered, that this information is stored in the session cookie. But this cookie is discarded in a few minutes...

    Any tips?

    fschulze,

    If you use 11 GR 1 material - you can read about MDS in chapters 33 and 34 of the Fusion for the ADF Developer's Guide - it does exactly what you ask... an update, don't know if it will save the sort order, but the documentation specifically mentions column reorganization as being recorded.

  • ADF Faces 11R2 - taskflow region discount table in the parent page

    Hello world

    I use 11R2 ADF Faces and ADF Jésus BC.

    I work with a project that consist of a page with a table and a region that is a workflow. The region contains only one button.

    The behavior is: ' whenever the user presses the button in the region, then the table on the page must be re-queryed and updated on the page.

    I use the parent action in the workflow to specify the result of the container page and page flow routera then to execute the method = "executeWithParams" and then return to the page to redisplay the it.

    It seems that the query is actually underway, but the page is not refreshed.

    Any ideas how to do this in a standard way?

  • Missing in ADF faces ScrollBar table on Ipad

    Hello

    Tables ADF Faces surrounded by PanelCollection available show scrollbars you like on PC (also on the Web browser Safari on PC) but have no scroll bars on Ipad. All the other elements make it very well.

    Application is developed 11.1.1.4.0 JDev

    I also tried to change surrounding component at PanelStretch, PanelSplitter, etc. with no luck

    Does anyone have any ideas of why this might be happening?

    Thanks in advance,

    J. -.

    The ADF for the iPad/iPhone support is rapidly improving every version and the 11.1.1.4.0 version you are using is quite old now (2010). I suggest you try the 11.1.2.1.0 last generation to see if that solves your problem.

    On a side note, the iPad does not have scroll bars, you scroll with your finger. So what you may ask is support for gestures, does not scroll bars.

  • How to redirect to another page Using JavaScript in ADF Faces?

    Hi guys,.

    I have a case of user UI that has an af:menu which contains mutiple af:goMenuItem. When the user clicks on the menu, the menu slides down and the af: goMenuItem presents itself. As we know, you can set page destinations in af:goMenuItem to go to another page when the user has clicked, but af:menu itself cannot be redirected to another page. Well, the case of the user wants the menu itself could be redirected if the user clicks on it.

    So I think that the use of JavaScript to do this: when you click on the af: menu, redirect to another page. BUT, I've looked over the ADF Faces Javascript API and wasn't able to find this piece of code to do this. Any help?

    Another work around to the user scenario is to use the brands of HTML + CSS/JavaScript instead of af: menu and af:goMenuItem, but this changes the scope of the technology although it is not hard to do

    Any other idea to make the case of the user other than what I could think?

    Thank you guys!

    Jay

    Hello

    1. you can have a control hidden element to the navigation based on a case of control flow. In this case, you access the JavaScript command component create a new ActionEvent and he queued
    2 - JavaScript can use an af:serverListener to call a server side managed bean method to perform the navigation

    There is no JavaScript API for navigation in ADF Faces because navigation in JavaServer Faces is an event-driven framework and we do not support the developers of fight against the framework.

  • ADF Faces < IF > statement available on the page?

    I do a page using ADF Faces.

    I want to create an IF statement in a page that will display a markup on one condition and another display, some other tags.

    For example, I use an iterator to generate a table. I would like to have the background color of the alternative line based on the iterator No. 2 (also how can I get the count of the iterator).

    Also, I don't want to make the highlight of text color based on some such condition as is foo == bar make the text red etc.

    Someone knows how to do this simple task in ADF Faces?

    * Note that the basic JSF fi is not available in Jdeveloper for some reason any. Any help would be appreciated.

    In addition, I don't want to just set a property of an element based on a State with EL.

    Lets say there is a part of the page I want to only show is a condition is true. Is it impossible in ADF Faces? Is there something fundamental that miss me on this frame?

    Made conditional group of fragments, you can use the component switcher.

    See the example for switch here: http://jdevadf.oracle.com/adf-richclient-demo/faces/components/switcher.jspx

    Code:

    To change the color of the text according to the requirement, you can use the EL expression in InlineStyle (it's a simple case) otherwise, you can use the count to change the same.

    Sample:

    inlineStyle = ' #{bindings. " FirstName.inputValue == 'Steven '? "{" color: red ": null}" / >

  • How can we achieve a scroll table with scrollPolicy = "page".

    JDEV version 12.1.3.0

    Hi Experts,

    I have a table in a popup and scrollPolicy = "page". I want to delete paging and want instead a roll to the table. So is it possible that I can make

    scrolling of table with scrollPolicy = "page".

    Thank you

    AR

    N ° it would make no sense. The strategy of scrolling to scroll and paging should be gone.

  • JDeveloper 11.1.2.3, ADF Faces: need idea of component declarative for table

    Some information:

    I am trying to create a reusable toolbar for the behavior of af: standard table, see screenshot

    http://wesfang.files.WordPress.com/2013/05/DC.jpg

    I had the idea of documentation, Frank has published in the past by
    1. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/001-access-declarative-comp-attr-169113.pdf
    2. Add a new line by programming

    The page of the subsystem of your past in a "MyPageBean" which is a subclass of a 'ArchBean' where all actionlistener operations are defined. The idea here is to minimize the developer customizing when using this component.

    ... <f:facet name="toolbar">             <af:toolbar id="t2">                 <mskcc:basicTransactionToolbar id="btt1" pageBean="#{MyPageBean}" tableId="t1"/>             </af:toolbar> </f:facet> ...

    The table on the page of your default is filed "editable" tabular The developer must change the attribute 'disable' true for all fields of seizure and control components in the table. I would like to remove this step of developer and have rather in an architectural element. All ideas are welcome.

    Hello

    If the table is added in a facet of the declarative component toolbar, then you can access them in your component code declarative. The table has columns as his child, and each column has UI components such as child components. You can access these UI components and programmatically set the disabled property. All you need to know is the 'trigger' of this deactivation point. Can you try and create a custom declarative component impl class and use the method encodes?

  • Table of base security in application of ADF/FACES

    Hi people, can someone point me in the right direction to implement the base table of database security in an ADF/FACES application that must be deployed on Apache/Tomcat. I have seen a few articles on WLS, but this is obviously not very applicable. Maintenance/user role has been designed in the application on a self-service basis, what I'm struggling with is how to implement these roles in the ADF security.

    The reason would be that WLS is the only platform supported for deployment of applications of 11g ADF

  • Request clarification on the ADF Faces + Trinity mix on the same page 11 g

    Hello

    I wonder if someone Oracle could indicate support of this. JDeveloper 11 g release notes contains a section titled, "ADF Faces and data visualizations," in which we find the following:

    The use of Apache MyFaces Trinidad components

    The mixture of Apache MyFaces Trinidad tr: tags with ADF Faces af: tags on the same page is not supported. You can mix the trh Trinidad: tags with ADF Faces AF: tags. However, there may be some problems of introduction to cross-browser with the help of the trh Trinidad: tags. As a best practice use the ADF Faces AF: layout tags as your first choice, unless the provision is not feasible using the trh Trinidad: tags.

    Does that mean that only DVT + Trinidad is not supported, or that someone else suggested that active af: tags are not taken in charge, or we cannot mix tr: and af: at all?

    Best,

    John

    John,

    the brief summary is that generally you are on the right side when you do not mix the components of the Trinity with ADF Faces RC components. It of IO to use components on separate pages, but not in a single page.

    The summary of average size is that not all components of Trinidad cause conflict with ADF Faces Rich client and that in fact the active components issue requests for PPR can cause serious problem. The integration of PPR is a major problem between the two batteries. If you use - for example trh:script to include JavaScript or CSS to your page ADF Faces, then it doesn't cause damage. Ditto for the layout to the Trinity labels that do not use PPR to disclose their children.

    Frank

    PS. : We had a bug filed against this and dev on both teams looked at how to solve the problem. It seems, however, that it would take major architectural changes
