  In addition to this project widely used mixture ADF faces with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSTL.

  JavaScript, CSS, and JSTL is not a problem, whereas - according to the JSF version - HTML is. JSF 2 is the first version of the JSF, which allows you to mix HTML with less side effects, if you use Facelets as view declaration language.

  Poor performance because of heavy weight pages. If you were using ADF Faces and your JS addresses the DOM instead of the architecture of client cJavaScript ADF Faces then chances are JS will fail for the components that have changed their HTML output (which has an impact on the DOM structure) or changes are not submitted to the server.

  For CSS, CSS inlineStyle not applay to the DOM element that is external, which means for example af:input the background text color will color the lavel

  Dependa on how you do. JSF has postponed EL syntax, which means that EL resolves at run time, whereas JSTL resolves at compile time. So the race conditions could become a problem

  Overall, it is difficult to say if things were coded wrong in the project (although for the use of HTML you can be sure) without seeing the code. It seems that the team that built the application however did not dare to the suite of recommended practices

• Place the meta tag data BEFORE the CSS data

  From my place of work updated our browser default to IE9 to IE11, I had some problems with my built Muse works site. Some text boxes overlap and mingle others make the text unreadable.

  My IM business team is at a loss as to why, especially as the site works perfectly on my home computer / Surface IE11, Edge, Chrome and FireFox.

  The site includes more than 800 pages and saved on / accessed from a shared drive (rather than a web server) by 60 of our users.

  My IM team suggested that I add a compatibility meta tag (as it works fine in compatibility IE9 mode) so I tried to add the metatag < meta http-equiv = "X-UA-Compatible" content = "IE = 9" > using the "HTML for < head >" box in 'Page Properties' muse.

  However, he could not force the site to open in compatibility IE9 mode and I said since that it is because the meta tag that I added is used in the section "Custom head HTML" that comes after the "CSS" section when Muse exports as html.

  So, my question is this - is it possible for me to add a meta tag BEFORE the data CSS, up with the normal meta rather than in the main HTML area custom tags?

  The short answer is no (other than to manually update each .html file).

  Is the site served by using a web server via http/https, or users open the index.html file using the file:// Protocol?

  Giving us a sense specific problems that you are experiencing a given page is seen in IE11 (screenshots) we can solve the problem without resorting to the IE9 compatibility mode.

  OK, it seems I have to add the element to the structure, and then use "tagging" to apply the item to my image.

• Topics marked with the conditional tags still appear in the documentation

  Hi all

  I have a big problem with RoboHelp 7.

  I defined a new conditional tag (I have 2 together) and I mark the topics in the table of contents with relate to this tag conditional, right?

  When I generate the chm file, everything is OK. The headings marked with the conditional tag do not appear in the table of contents that I specified to exculde subjects marked with this conditional tag.

  When I generate documentation however, everything is still in the document even if I was clear that I don't want these subjects to appear.

  Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong, or how can I properly so that I get my results?

  I am using Windows XP Pro and RoboHelp is updated with all service packs.

  Right-click a topic in the table of contents and select apply the tag build conditional. Check out the new / Multiple option.

  You can clearly see if the tag is applied to the table of contents or the subject. If it is applied on the subject, so it will be not when generating table of contents entry will be automatically deleted. If it is applied to the table of contents only, he is always in the build.

• Potential SEO issues with the meta description and h1 tag

  Work on the referencing of BC site and noticed the page markup has more than a description meta tag. I think there must be meta tag single description within the section of the page. If someone looked into this? It would seem that the models have the meta description and then tag when a new page is created, if you fill in the description field of SEO for this page, BC adds another meta description tag. What's going on with that and is there a workaround? I'm sure that this negatively affects the SEO.

  Then there is a problem of h1. An h1 tag is an indicator of what the content of the page. Search engines reduce the value of a page that contains multiple h1 tags. If a page Abuse the h1 tags, this page could be determined a junk page and not be indexed. Again, the model contains h1 with the page logo and many of the pages included with the model (Tribeca) reuse h1 in the body. Is there a css solution to substitute the h1 used in logo template? Would anyone like to gift of the snippet of code I could use for this purpose? I'm really bad with css...  Thank you.

  Well Yes and it is one of the Colombia-British ones. That would be a problem with this model. I think that there are a few things wrong with this pass by the forums so I don't know if the BC was made aware of them but I will go to them about this.

  Remove the meta model files from descriptions if you can yourself and that will correct if all goes well. It is not the norm, I have plenty of time to build sites and don't have this problem if it is not not a problem of system so uncomfortable on this.

• Stress Test ADF Faces with JMeter, simulate multi user - unique number doc

  Hi all
  I was able to configure JMeter to test ADF faces 10g application, now is the time to define the load and the scenario.
  When reading JMeter docs, I'm curious if others has been doing so successfully and can share it. (at least Mr. Chris Muir...?  :)
  
  I have two questions:
  
  (1) the page I want to test is a Page of entry of order with master - detail (form - editable table).
  I f I just create a group of JMeter threads with Thread number = 50.
  These '50 users' insert exactly the SAME data, even if I have a single Unique constraint on a field "Order-Ref" (which is not automatically generated, but entered by the user).
  Is it possible to use a meter on JMeter, so this "Order-Ref" field will be filled with 'REF-1', ' REF - 2 "etc...?". (so that I can survive the unique constraint)
  
  (2) have you tried JMeter to insert data of editable table ADF?

  I am having trouble getting my 3rd < div > tag align (id = flash). It is left in line with the edge of the tag '#content' < div >. Essentially left alignment on the edge of my centered layout. Here is my code, anyone can have an idea on what I'm missing? I am new to do not use tables.

• Why do I get signals ghosts with the meter?

  Hi, I am able period using the NI 9401 on a cDAQ9174 chassis.  I have a sensor whose output is 50mV LO and HI 4500mV, and this is easily measured with a scope and a DMM.  Furthermore, the scope shows very clean transition, no noise near the 2, 5V TTL threshold.  The probe monitors pattern reflecting on a spinning wheel.  Measures the time of the order of less than 0.3 seconds, but, curiously, the measurement period seems to be good for a few cycles, and then suddenly these values close to ZERO are observed. (Excel data show these values literally '0'.)  What is c?  Where are these unwanted readings from?

  Also, see the code that I use to record data from the period, and a typical example of the data plotted in Excel.  One thing I'm confused about is the timer in the WHILE loop.  How the meter may return a value that is smaller than the function parameter WAITING in the WHILE loop?  The WAIT function is set to 100ms, but the meter will return to values far less than 50ms.

  Is there a way to remove these values in the software?  For example, can I just throw any value less than 0.050 seconds?  This kind of fix would be perfect for our application; It's a little gross, but she would get me to the next step in our project.

  I really appreciate your comments!  This photointerrupter is supposed to have the advantage of being a camera and free of noise in the environment, up to now, the only noise in our environment is the small DC motor spin our wheel on our lab bench... not a harsh environment at all.

  Hi Dave,.

  That's what I think is happening here.  In the configuration of the measurement of a meter task period DAQmx, the source of the signal is connected to the door of the meter and the internal time base is used as a source.  When the input signal is HI at the entrance to the Terminal, a count is saved for each rising edge of the timbase to the source of the Terminal.  When the signal of door to LO County is drawn from the register in the buffer and legumes subsequent source are ignored until the door is HI again.

  Now assume that the signal of your door is swinging very quickly prior to staying at the State HI or LO.  Whenever a HI LO oscillation occurred, a count would be drawn from the register of the meter.  If this rise and fall of the door happened quickly enough, it is quite possible that very few or none of the timebase impulses were actually counted to the source terminal, thus recording a very low double value in a buffer of the computer.  When these sets of values has been extracted from the buffer and written into the worksheet, accuracy of scripture to the worksheet VI may have been set to the default 3 decimal, so write "0" s to the file.

  The speed of the swing may be the order of 10 to 100 ns, fast enough at your fingertips, do not register.  The quote that I copied the help file describes the behavior with the digital filter enabled.  When you apply the digital filter, a county is not from the register unless the signal of the door remains HI for a fixed minimum amount of time.  With the filter, the period 0 counts are not sent to the buffer because the door is not HI for the minimum period of time.

• How to synchronize HAVE with the meter?

  Is it possible to syncronise HAVE and readings of CTR? I use a unit of M series and LabVIEW I created a task HAVE several entries with the CTR of a channel that serves as a measure of angular position. It is easy to make a measure of countinous stored stamped with the analog inputs. But with the same sampling rate, I would like to read the meter. DAQmx forces me to use an external clock for the acquisition of meter source. Is there a (simple) solution?

  This can easily be done using AI/SampleClock (internal signal of the DAQ card) as the source of the task of counter sample clock. See the tutorial called synchronization M with LabVIEW and NOR-DAQmx series (Multi-Function synchronization) and do a search of AI/SampleClock on the forums for discussion OR for more details.

• How to pre-fill the ADF form with the data?

  I was wondering how you go about the generation of a pre-filled form of ADF. Is this something that is done if the designer of the ADF and the business objects? or do you create database tables stay and bind in the ADF and the workflow. Specifically, I want that if a user is presented with a several drop-down lists when the human task of the initiator is executed.

  1. Yes, in all first place in the database, we added all the data manually for all research. Its our own schema custom. We plan to provide a few simple administration screens in a different WebApps to maintain these values to search. Note that it is a different simple ADF application, with a layer of EJB and EJB layer calling this and get/update database values.

  2. in ADDITION, we have a few search values we get from system/application totally another as Oracle EBS Suite. To do this, we have created custom schema. In this custom scheme, we have a few stored procedures created by the developers of EBS database (they are more familiar with EBS). Now in our EJB layer, we use architecture JPA, call these stored procedures and get all values for the search and display in the TaskDetails page. These values are maintained in EBS itself, so we have not all custom within our SOA/BPM project admin screens.

  In conclusion, our SOA/BPM applications, we have 2 databases. First database is for components SOA where we run RCU comand and there all SOA_INFRA, MDS, diagrams ORABAM etc. The second database is for our custom schema specific to our application. Here, we have our own lookup tables, custom table and all cutom stored procedures than coonect to external EBS etc. Weblogic console, we have just to create a data source for this second database and use layer JPA (persistence.xml file). For the first database, you already know that in the creation of the field itself, it will create all sources of data also.

• Problem with the conditional tags in printed output

  I write help files for different versions of our software - version 4 and 5 using Robohelp for HTML 5.0.2
  
  There is a large overlap of information between the two, so I use a help file joint with marked topics that are specific to version 4 or version 5.
  
  I went out and then use with 'NOT v4' or "NOT v5" as the conditional tags.
  
  It works fine in the HTML output. However, I encountered problems with the printed output.
  
  Ideally, I want the help file using the option "generate the single document" because it means that the document produced, without the single output field. However, when I do, the tags conditional build fail and I get a piecemeal result.
  
  If I generate the document by using the option 'generate individual documents' tags conditional build work, but I get the only field I want to avoid.
  
  Does anyone know how to get the conditional tags to work when the option "generate the single document" is selected?

  I think I have the answer now.

  In the properties for the SSL Print dialog, the third screen is the dialogue of section layout. I had removed some sections in the right pane (for example, the default title page, glossary, and index) because I did not want them to appear in the final printed output. It seems that without these sections present conditional compilation tags do not work correctly when the document is released by using the option 'generate a single document ".

  I started again with a "blank" printing of SSL version. Conditional constructions using the "generate a single document" appear to work fine when I leave the dialog layout intact section.

  I can even do the conditional tags build an injustice because the option "generate a single document" (after that I made the changes in the dialog layout section) seems to be that some of the chapters in the table of contents and omitting others.

• Find/replace, searching for specific text to replace it with the paragraph tag

  I tried to replace a string of text that I have at the beginning of a paragraph indicating a certain style of paragraph with this style of ID while eliminating the text string. For example, I put @IN1 at the beginning of a paragraph I want formatted with the paragraph of my ID IN1 style. However, when I have 'Search' @IN1 with no. find format and 'to' do not change (i.e. empty) with the paragraph style selected 1 selected under format change, it applies the paragraph style, but does not delete the text string @IN1.   Using the GREP tab, find ^ (@IN1) (.) and replace with $2 and set the paragraph style in the change of format.
