ADF interview panel with tree Table - add fields

I created ADF query Panel with tree Table using JDeveloper 11 G. Under the terms of the research advance, add fields only drop-down list the fields in the primary table. My questions are,

(1) can I search fields in the secondary table? If so, how can I do it?

(2) how can I customize this drop-down list? Currently it shows just the whole view of the main table with unnecessary data type id.

Thanks in advance.

  • Problems using the tools of accessibility on PDF interactive with complex tables and fields in form (in AcroDC)

    Hello

    Although I worked earlier in the accessibility check (will be abbreviated as "axs" later) before using the Checker axs documents, what he used Windows and Acrobat XI a year ago. I am now responsible for creating interactive forms that are available on a Mac (platform I prefer), that have been designed only visually in InDesign, then transferred in Acrobat X or XI where someone placed the form fields and then handed to me to settle the tab for end-users order and make them accessible to people with disabilities (Government org). Problem is, some of these documents are extremely dense arrays, in which each cell of the table is a checkbox or a radio button I have several questions:

    (1) the order of reading has something to do with the tab order? (I spent hours to get the tab order works the way it should and do not know if by clicking any axs tool that will change and cancel all my work.)

    (2) I need to mark an entire page, more or less, as a table but when I am in reading of editing tool (TURO), I get the crosshairs of hanging around that object, but when I go to playback control panel, and then click Table, everything is deselected and nothing else happens. My goal is to get to the table to label the lines headings and column editor, etc. What is going on? What I have to do all this in the Panel tags instead?

    (3) in the Panel tags, I see a table with 30 lines, which is what I have visually, but when I select the TRs and TDs nothing gets selected on the form, so I don't know how to get the content of the form "in" these TDs... it is a very complicated document and I'm getting confused. " Not a lot of experts out there on Axs AND Acrobat DC dealing with this and I'm frustrated! There's a guy on Lynda.com including videos watched re: similar topics, but in his case, he got a table which is just text and it is small, and his method is by selecting each cell of the table with the cross and he the tags labeling a 'cell', and then go in the Panel and work on the appropriate type / # Table elements slide autour stuff in the appropriate lines etc. My picture has lines 30 and 13 columns, and approaching the fields of interactive form in most of the cells... This is not practical, but do not know if there is a quick/accurate way to get the table recognized otherwise?

    Any help is appreciated...

    Sorry,

    Very frustrated

    Yes, treating large complex tables can be the chore of accessibility PDF much time and frustrating. First question - these tables of data or layout tables? Several forms are organized visually using layout tables, but do not really present data organized in rows and columns. Marking this content in a table would be run against failure condition Matterhorn Protocol 15-004, "content is marked as a table of information that is not organized in rows and columns. Instead, work in the Tags pane, drag all the elements of content out of the structure of the table and re-tag/organize according to the needs. The Suite of PDF/UA reference has an example of form (document 10) that you can refer to-although its layout tables is relatively low. A simple structure, detroit forward should be easier to fix at a large table and also easier for a user to read assistive technology.

    However, if these are legitimate data tables... I find the reading pane to be worse than useless. The Tags pane sets the reading order for assistive technology. Something that I find useful is to break down a complex table into manageable pieces, clean up the subtables can recombine. You can also consider assessing NetCentric CommonLook - I do not use it, but it has a good reputation for working with arrays. I don't think it's available for Mac, however.

  • ADF tree-table using the single object view

    Hi all

    I'm pretty new (in fact, quite new) to the development of the ADF so bear with me here.

    I use JDev version 11.1.1.7.0

    My question is this: -.

    I have a single table, with a single entity object and view read-only of the object, metaphorically, sitting on it. This table contains attributes such as Type of system, Application name, content of the Message, etc. It is used as a repository of audit trail for many applications in our field.

    Now what I want to do is create a style tree-table menu to allow the user to select a system Type (is there a lot of them) and cross the names of applications that are related to the type of system selected. Getting the granularity I'm not further than the name of the Application. When a user clicks on the Type system or a given Application name, the ADF array element that I have on my page .jspx should perform a partial page refresh to filter results accordingly.

    That's what I'm thinking the tree-table to look like:-l' user must be able to expand and collapse the nodes as needed.

    Type of <>

    < A system >

    < A.1 application name >

    < A.2 application name >

    < A.3 application name >

    < B > system

    < application B.1 name >

    < name B.2 of the application >

    < system C >

    < name C.1 of the application >

    etc...

    I did some research and I'm not sure I'm able to do what I ask with a single view object. Many articles and tutorials I've read up to now focus on the view of the objects that contain the link relationships with one or more display objects. This obviously creates a relationship master / detail that is easily available for the course I guess...?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    JimBob

    No, you probably can't perform this operation with VO alone (because you do not have a recursive structure if I understood your sample).

    You'll need VO to 'Types of system' (as the root of the tree), VO for the 'systems' (logged on 'Types of system' VO with ViewLink) and VO for 'Requests' (connected on 'Systems' VO of ViewLink).

  • Existing table: Add a field that must be unique or null, is - permit?

    Hello

    I'm working on Oracle Utilities applications. I'm not a guru on the development of the database.

    There is an existing table with the following fields:

    1. DocVersion
    2. UIDContract
    3. StartTime
    4. StopTime
    5. Volume

    The first 3 fields are used to the PK.

    The function of this table to follow how much volume is linked to a Doc version and now with the change of the volume associated with the new SelNumber field.

    Now I have to make a change and I want to add a new field: SelNumber.

    There are two situations when a record is written to this table:

    1. existing situation is always necessary: then the SelNumber field is not filled in = NULL
    2. The new situation has added: the SelNumber field is not NULL.

    What's not now, it is that, in the new situation, the first free fields have the same value, only the SelNumber is different. So the first time a record is added to the table. But the next this record is replaced with the new value.

    I can't add the SelNumber field to the PK because in the first situation is NULL and a field of pharmacokinetics cannot be null, or...?

    So how can I resolve that I can add a record to the table the PK fields have the same value, but the value SelNumber is different, and in the situation, the SelNumber is null? Is it possible to make a unique constraint on the SelNumber field that has the value null or a unique number? Or is it a stupid thought?

    The alternative is I think, to create a new table, but on the other hand, I think that it should be possible!

    Please can someone help me with this problem I am facing in?

    Nico

    Hello

    I don't think you can do what you want with a Primary Key constraint.

    You can, however, create an index based on a single function, where the index values are all NULL when SelNumber is set to NULL:

    CREATE UNIQUE INDEX table_x_uk

    ON table_x

    (NVL2 (SelNumber, Docversion, NULL)

    NVL2 (SelNumber, UIDContract, NULL)

    NVL2 (SelNumber, StartTime, NULL)

    SelNumber

    );

    It will not not no constraint on the lines where SelNumber is set to NULL, but, if SelNumber is not null, then the combination of all 4 columns must be unique.

    Sorry, I can't test it now.

  • Main table with two tables of children as part of the ADF

    Hello

    I'm trying to implement single master with two tables in detail using oracle adf framework of Jdev 11.1.1.4.0. I am able to only master / details using the link display but unable to reach the details i.e., nested block child master with nested blocks.

    I created query view object based on the master and two poll objects of the base seen as details. Then, I created two master of first child link and another link for master of the second child. Even in this case in my data controls I see two different components which is incorrect.

    Please let me know how to create a data control for an example below:
    Fruit [MASTER]
    -Details of Fruits such as the table of the adf
    -Apples [FIRST CHILD]
    -Details of the apples as adf table
    -Orange [SECOND CHILD]
    -Details of the Oranges as adf table

    Kind regards
    Amar.

    You need two viewLinks
    Fruit-> apples
    Fruit-> Oranges

    Then, in the data model, you choose the entry of fruit that has:
    Fruit
    |---> Apples

    You stand on the fruit and you shuttle Oranges to be below left to right.

    If you use the HR schema by default, you will see this type of relationship for employees:

  • Hide the fields to add fields drop-down list in the advanced search mode.

    On the drop-down list to add fields in the field of the advanced search displayed by an af:query, is there a way to hide some of the attributes? He seems to show all the attributes of the default VO.

    The fields must be visible on other pages that use the VO. Table Panel and search queries will only to display a subset of the fields in the VO.

    Assigning to the attribute Display tip to hide will not do; at least this seems to be the case, because if I do that, then, the field is not available on the data control to be placed on other pages.

    I guess I could create a separate VO just to the search page; but I try to avoid this, it invites excessive maintenance as the system grows. If no indication on how to hide a field VO on add fields while leaving the field to be displayed on other pages would be appreciated.

  • Default value in the object MessageLovInput - with results mapped to fields MessageStyledText

    Have a personalized page of the OPS with a simple LOV entry on this subject (MessageLovInput) for an account number that works very well.   User has entered an account number, the LOV works as it should and when the value is chosen I lovMappings that map a couple of fields result view-only MessageStyledText boxes indicating the name and address that was chosen.  Result - key user Acct # and the name and address appears automatically for the user for reference purposes.

    However, I have an entry point to the screen where I would like to pass a parameter to the account number and have it auto select the LOV for me so that the only 2 display fields are visible.  In my controller page, I put the default account number (accountBean.setValue(pageContext,"12345") and it works EXCEPT that it never fill the results in the only fields of 2 display for the customer does not have the reference except with force, they choose the LOV and select the address.)

    Is it possible to make the LOV "auto-run" at the entrance to the page so if there is an input value it will even act as if user keyed it?  I tried several variations of things of guide to Dev and Google for several hours and must be missing something.

    Here's the Basic code that I have in place (cut down to simplicity)

    PageCO-> ProcessRequest method:

    String acctNumber = pageContext.getParameter ("InputAccountNumber");

    If (acctNumber! = null)

    {

    Lov OAMessageLovInputBean = webBean.findChildRecursive ("AccountNumber");

    lov.setValue (pageContext, acctNumber);

    }

    With just the code above, when the screen lorsque l' ecran commence begins has the InputAccountNumber appropriate in the account number field and correctly displayed.  The other fields only 2 screen remain blank well.  If I make a form submission (PageCO-> ProcessFormRequest), it correctly handles the LOV selection as well.

    I tried to add the code to the stream to instantiate the LOV VO with the appropriate value and it works - selects the LOV properly and has a vo.getRowCount (1) because I expect.  But it's as if she doesn't have the lovMappings to the map screen.

    Any suggestions?

    Objects involved are:

    MessageLovInput (with the region associated with listOfValues, tables and lovMappings, including mappings in Nom_tiers areas and address MessageStyledText)

    LovVO-> query VO Sql Simple that is the query for the LOV (i.e. not based on an EO)

    LovAM-> separate AM which houses the LovVO and is listed on the MessageLovInput

    LovCO-> separate CO which house the PR and PFR for MessageLovInput field

    PageCO-> controller for the page-> code LOV is the room above that sets the value.

    PageAM-> AM for the page-> have you tried including the LovVO in its data model and it set aside.  Have you tried including a reference to the LovAM and removing it - same results

    Got this working.  As aJohny said, I essentially had to manually set the other fields in the PR.  Had to do it in the PR of the PageCO since the LovCO is not called until the user interacts with the specific field of the MessageLovInput.

    For reference, here's a rough description of what I had to do.

    PageCO-> controller of main page in the ProcessRequest method:

    (1) pick up the parameter and done a setValue on the MessageLovInput to the main field of LOV visible by the user.

    (2) calls LovAM to initialize the specific LOV with the input parameter (see section LovAM below)

    (3) calls LovAM to return the LovVO

    (4) Gets the first line of the LovVO and fills the fields of the MessageStyledText (if there is only 1 line returned.  If 0 or 2 + it doesn't fill the dependent fields)

    LovAM-AM for the LOV-> a > code to initialize the LovVO as follows

    (1) Gets the LovVO

    (2) setWhereClause (null) and setWhereClauseParams (null)

    (3) setWhereClause to include the input parameter

    (4) executeQuery

    (5) If no input parameter then it gets just the LovVO and setWhereClause (null) (null) /setWhereClauseParams

    LovCO-> controller of the LOV

    (1) in PR-> call LovAM to initialize the VO with an empty/null input parameter.  This allows user to key in a new account number in the entry field Lov and it works.  In the contrary case, it always binds in the account number which is entered into the page as a parameter.

    This method seems to work after a series of tests.  Seems like overkill for the lovMapping themselves and the feature base LOV all done automatically.  I expect to be able to do something to force the instantiate LOV and do its normal operations.  But I could never get this to work in the PageCO in the ProcessRequest method.

    Hello

    We have the obligation to indicate the dynamic tree based on VO unique Table.

    for example employee responsible for given as Coonect by front in the tree.

    for example.

    Third level

    We have solution for this in Code corner if there is data in the table on which EO exists.

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/ADF/learnmore/32-tree-table-from-single-vo-169174.PDF

    for example.

    This solution works very well if the data exists in the base-> EO-> table VO and link with the accessor-> AM-> tree

    However the requirement is slightly different from above of the solution data from SQL base VO and not entity VO object.

    We have VO and link with the accessor-> AM-> tree

    Here accessor does not return any data that fails to display the table of the tree.

    Please advice solution.

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] af:table - how to select by program level 1 (on the updating of the table)?

    Hallo,

    I have an af:table that displays the result of a custom search form.

    I need to update the properties of some of the buttons every time that a row in the table is selected.

    I would like to handle this in a SelectionListener I associated with the table.

    public void myTableSelectionListener(SelectionEvent selectionEvent) {
      ELUtils.invokeEL("#{bindings.SearchEmployee1.collectionModel.makeCurrent}",
                       new Class[] { SelectionEvent.class },
                       new Object[] { selectionEvent });
      Row selectedRow = (Row) ELUtils.evaluateEL("#{bindings.SearchEmployees1Iterator.currentRow}");
      System.out.println(selectedRow.getAttribute("Name") + " - " + selectedRow.getAttribute("Surname"));
    }

    I noticed the System.out.println prints the values of the selected line only when the user clicks on a line while that no value does print when the grid is recharged after clicking the search button.

    To resolve this problem, I guess I need to select by program level 1 in the table whenever the grid is charged, but I have not found a working method to do this.

    You kindly explain how to select by program level 1 of an af:table?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Hi Federico
    only for research you can handle this in your action of the search button (because your selection listener code works for another action), after research get the current row of your table (it would be the first rows) and run your code

    If you are using af:query, then override default query listener to run custom code

    See -Ashish Awasthi (Jdev/ADF) Blog: the substitution of the listener default query, validation in the field of af: query-Oracle ADF

  • DETACHED ON TREE TABLE MODE

    Hello

    I have a problem with the mode detached on the table of the tree. In one of the page, I'll have a picture of the active tree in the Collection of panels with "Off". On the Board of the tree, I have a column 'Actions' and it has links for each record. Using these links, the user performs the operations as "allocate" and "deallocation.

    I assigned a resource to the table from the tree, now, the "Deallocate" operation is allowed on this particular line of the table in the tree.

    Now, I click on the "Detach" button, the tree table is displayed in detached Mode. When I click on the link "Delete the allocation" table of the tree, the resources allocated is released without problem, but the tree table not more balance in mode on loan.

    Here, every time the user allocates / frees up resources to the table from the tree, I update the table of the tree. I use the binding attribute to refresh the table tree component.

    Can I limit the table tree to stay detached, even after updating the component mode?

    Please let me know if there is no solution.

  • How can I find levels of knot / depth of recursive tree table?

    Guys,

    With the help of Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.3.0.

    After 2-3 days of banging my head against the screen, I'm ready to ask for help. I confess: I'm a noob and can't find a way to get the node level / depth of a treeTable. I've not seen mentioned in the forums or in one of the examples of treeTable on different blogs. Google, the praise of God, I was missed as well.

    I tried in my Parent-> children-> tree table Recursive Child (the child of references view object):

    (1) EL expressions (my EL sucks) in a text output in the node. Hoping that something like #{node. HierTypeBinding.Parent.etc.}, would produce a kind of valuable info I could handle.
    (2) setting the value of a managed bean node, but do not know how to get the currently rendered node. I can only figure out how to get the node currently selected, which is only useful after the table has already been made.
    (3) level creating a transitional field called in the child view object and setting its equal to level sound + 1 ViewRowImpl, but if the child has many parents, I get incorrect calculations. I have the most away with this, but finally gave up. To access the feature through ViewLinks works great to browse children lines, but by train to get parent node is disconcerting if you have several parents.
    (4) the two saying "Please!" and various metaphors of four colorful letters. Not had much effect.

    Any kind of branch or help would be great.

    Thanks guys,.
