Adjust the background color to match the specific shade

Hello!

I was instructed to clean a few images from a studio session. Either the background seamless was the wrong color, or was invaded by evil and its color must be adjusted slightly. I have isolated the backdrop as its own layer and simply adjust its color to match a specific shade (RGB, CMYK # s provided). There is a certain gradient due to the installation of lighting, so it will not be uniform everywhere, but it's OK.

I do not see how to adjust hue, saturation, brightness in the options I tried (adaptation layer, replace color etc), which lead me to the eye there. I need to enter the RGB or CMYK #s and apply to adjust the color of the background (layer) together. Cannot know what I'm missing here.

Appreciate any help! Thank you!

When you sample the color you want to match, write these numbers.

Now, on the background you want to adjust in order to match the colors that you noted, raising some adjustment tool to use, I use the hue and Saturation, for example.

The color eyedropper sampler allows you to place a sampler on the background area that you need to change the color that you want to match.

Now, you'll notice there are distributed the values in the range of information if you look at the values of the sampler. In this case #1 (see screenshot)
The value on the left is the original sample value, the number on the right represents the new value when you move the sliders in the parameters of adjustment layers. Keep these move around until you get the number to reach the numbers you noted at the beginning. Be warned, the numbers on the sliders are not relevant to a certain extent. You make adjustments while watching the Info palette.

See above, I've adjusted the main value and saturation, and you can see the RGB values on the #1 sampler is different. When those numbers coincide with everything what I'm trying to correspond with as a value of the sample, you should be good. Although my value is defined in RGB, I would recommend colors you sample and football game, as HSB values. It is easier, then by a channel with RGB match.

Good luck!

  • Adjust the data in the database with the variables

    Hello

    For my internship, I have an assignment to read and set a database with the variables. This SQL server 2005 database contains variables of a controller. These are read and write variables. The assignment is to display the read variables and the user can adjust the variables of Scripture. The first part was "easy" because the forum contained a lot of examples of this. The second part is more difficult because the forum contains absolutely no example of this. Can I use LabVIEW 2010 and 2011, and also I downloaded the 30 day trial of the database connection tool. If it's useful, I can recommend my company to buy this package. Playback vi makes use of a UDL (Microsoft data link) connection.

    So you guys my question is: is it possible to adjust the specific variables in a database using LabVIEW? And maybe you can give me a little advice on this topic...

    Thanks in advance!

    In SQL, the specific data are always selected with the keyword WHERE. In VI to update there is a link for options, you can for example add a constant 'WHERE id = 1457 and measure > 0.54 ".

    You can ofc. also build this chain through controls, settings and other means.

    If you prefer, you can use the Execute Query (under Advanced tab I think) to which you can send the complete query example "TestTable Update set name ="Zeus"where id > 14 and id.<>

  • Change the background color of the slide show full-screen when the option fit content proportionally

    I signed up for a demo of Muse and I must say that I am very impressed. After using Dreamweaver in the past in school, often get bogged down in the code, Muse is a designers dream. I even told a few friends about it, calling for «InDesign for web designers» The features and tutorials on Adobes site, are fab but I need now to a little help.

    I want several images to fit the entire screen on a specific section of my Muse site, just below the navigation bar. I noticed the best way to do this is to create a slideshow full screen. With this option I can add one or more images fade in and out - communicate various messages and points of sale. By default, as the widget options are defined in the charging framework, which extends from my image to completely fill the browser. Unfortunately with this selected the image loses some quality and seems to zoom in, getting cropped in the process. When you change the settings to adjust the content proportionally everything looks great. The chart is smack bang under my sailing as I desire however there is also a horrible gray area each side because the graph is now its original size. Grey on each side seems to be the background color of the slideshow, but I can't find a way to change this - from grey to black. If any colleague Musers know of a way around this? Or maybe it's an enhancement request?

    Thanks, Chris

    Hi Chris,

    You can select the slideshow widget that you added and check the fill color in the control panel.

  • change the background color of the interactive reports

    Hi all

    I'm trying to change the background color of the interactive report. Is there anyway where I could change the background color of report? My all other reports are using custom background color, but in the case of report interactive, I couldn't manage change its default background color.

    Thank you
    Manish

    Hello

    Sorry, you said custom background color, so I thought you had that. The color I put here is just white, so you may have to adjust to match your custom color

    Probably the easiest way is to create an HTML region without a model to 0 in the position after the page header. Can use it as the source of the region

    You can also put in the page template or an external CSS file.

    If your has begun on CSS I suggest that you spend an hour or two reading this site [http://www.w3schools.com/css/], it will save you hours more later any web development environment you use

    See the code snippet. I don't see a property of background colors in the ctl class. Is there another under "ctl" class that allows you to set Boolean [] property colors?

    There is no property to the control level.  You will need to cast to a more specific 'Boolean' to get the property.  However, you will have to do in a case because it will error if the control is everything except Boolean.

  • Automatically adjusts the brightness with the background of the window.

    This is a fairly long description of the question, but I tried to be as complete as possible (this looks like a minor problem but it's very embarrassing in the conditions I work often) I have a laptop Dell Inspiron under Windows 7 Home Premium, and I'm having a problem with the brightness of the screen. I was not able to locate any other positions, even with a similar problem:

    Windows automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen based on the background color of any windows is open. When the toggle between light/dark background brightness will increase or decrease respectively. This is unrelated to all conditions of lightning of the room, and I was able to nail that this occurs only when two conditions are met (but she she 100% reproducible in these conditions) 1. Laptop is running on battery and 2. the screen brightness slider is calibrated for lower brightness about settings up to about 30 to 40%.
    I tried to eliminate all possible variables that I can think of, including the diagnosis via msconfig startup. This automatic brightness adjustment occurs independently of the program or the window involved, but here's an example where I cut everything and simply alternate between the Windows desktop (including the black background value) and Windows Explorer (white background).
    EXAMPLE 1: Desktop (black) came, no agenda. I open Windows Explorer (white) and the brightness fades gradually more light for a period of 5 seconds, tick-tick-tick-tick-tick brighter. I reduce Windows Explorer (dark back) and the brightness fades gradually more dark, tick-tick-tick-tick darker. When working in a darkened room this very annoying constant increase or decrease the brightness. Note that the brightness slider is set to the minimum setting all this time (about 40% of the automatic erasure is more noticeable at the point of annoying, even if it is always present, but 40% is way too bright for a darkened room).
    EXAMPLE 2: I opened two tabs in Google Chrome or Internet Explorer (that happens for two and all the other programs besides), in a tab of the page Web has a dark background (grey/brick/whatever) while the other tab has a light background (white/yellow/whatever). As I switch between tabs brightness will decrease after the passage in the darker background and rise after the transition to the lighter background, tick-tick-tick-tick-tick discoloration with about 5 seconds each time.
    Since this only occurs on battery you need just a simple setting in Power Options, but I don't the do have not yet localized as and option. I would be grateful all the ideas, and I can provide more information if necessary. Two solutions would be acceptable
    (A) brightness remains constant at the level that I put it independently to know if the laptop is plugged in or on battery power.
    (B) brightness adjusts in a single 'jump' when switch between light/dark circles, rather than erasing more than 5 seconds.
    Thanks for your help

    In fact, after a lot of research and work of suggestions other people, I think I found a solution that works on my machine. (I'm saying I think because I shot to the top of a black web page, he gave way to the screen for a while and looked and seems not to reduce intensity, but I'm a little worried that it's just top-down influence and I just wanted to believe that I solved the problem...)

    Here's what I did (on my Toshiba);
    Control Panel > display > adjust the resolution
    Click on 'Advanced settings' (a small blue link in the drop-down "Orientation").
    Click on tab "Intel (R) Graphics and Media Control Panel"
    Graphics properties
    Power > power features
    Click the menu drop-down and select 'on battery '. Under this drop-down menu, there is a checkbox next to "Display Power Saving Technology" that only appears when "on battery" is selected. On my computer, the box has been checked. I've disabled, and who seems to have stopped the display to change the brightness according to the color of the window.
    I hope this works for some other people (and indeed works for me) - this seems to be a very rare but incredibly annoying problem for those of us who got it.
  • Change the background color on Windows Explorer

    Hello.  One of our users who has recently turned to the Windows 7 operating system has problems with eye fatigue due to the fact that its Windows Explorer background color is white (default).  Is there a way to change this color to something darker and easier on the eyes?  She said she did it in Windows XP (doesn't remember how she did), but cannot find a way in Windows 7.

    I checked on some blogs after a search on google and it said to go to:

    Control Panel / all settings control panel skin customization elements, widow colours / advanced

    I went there but could not find anything specifically for the background of Windows Explorer.  I tried the substance of the request, but that it has not changed for Windows Explorer.

    Any help would be appreciately greatly.

    Thank you!

    I came across this little gem that seems to be the safest way to accomplish the task,

    You will need to download a custom theme to end up,

    Very good description

  • Why the Wordpad print a background color?

    Win7 Home Premium... Simple wordpad document print black text on a gray background. I changed Windows color from white to gray so not so hard on my aging eyes. Simple, I'll change it back so I can print the Wordpad document - does not work. Changed to no color - printer preferences does not work. Search on this site, no response. Search other sites, no answer. Used Google - found a lot of questions about this problem, but no sensible answer or answers that work. Is there anyone who might have found the answer?

    The problem is that the theme settings Windows 7, you use should focus on text background Wordpads.
    Solution is to redefine the theme on a default Windows theme or change the theme settings as described below.   Drastic how to change settings messes with the appearance of the theme will be depend on theme.  Advice before changing the color settings make sure you write down the current RGB values, so you can change the color of the theme if theme mess up more than you are willing to live with.  To find the current RGB color for the theme, click on the squares of color mentioned below in the instructions but do not select a new color.  In the color options window that opens, select 'other '.  In the new window that opens write down the values of red, green & blue colors from the current theme.  Now you can navigate to and change the settings as follows.
    In Windows 7, right click on desktop and select "personalize".   In the window that opens, select the option "Window color" icon at the bottom.  In the window that appears, select "Advanced appearance... settings". »
    Now, in the new window that opens go to the drop down list under 'Item' and select 'window '.
    There are two colors, you can change it here.  Colour1 is one that gives you the gray background of Wordpad.   The "color", one will be the font color.   Keep in mind that key aspects of the system, and not only of Wordpad, so be sure to adjust both.   For example if your current settings are a gray background and a white font, if you change the white background but do not include font color, you will not be able to see any text as the same colors.  Try using different shades of gray for the color of the font to keep the theme looking OK.  Once you have changed color, click apply/OK.  The change is immediate.
    Hope this helps someone.   This is an old post but thought I would respond in case others have encountered the problem recently and are looking for solution as well.

    Hi arthurd55302175,

    You can try to change the background color of the document by using the Document color replace.

    Open the required PDF, go to edit menu > accessibility > replace color Documents.

    You can use contrasting colors option to select the required combination of colors provided in the list or you can use "custom color option and select the color needed for the page background and document text."

    Then click OK to save the settings.

  • Change the background color of the banner in the theme of the APEX 25

    Hi guys,.

    I'm changing the background color of the banner in the theme of the APEX 25 (in white).

    Oracle.apex.com: Application Express 4.2.5.00.08

    Theme/UI: 25. Reactive blue

    Page template: A level Tabs - no side bar

    Using Internet Explorer 8
    I have created a sample in oracle.apex.com too, see below for credentials

    What I've done so far:

    1. create a file named orange.css with a single line:

    hgroup {background: white ;}}

    Downloaded this css file via:

    Components shared = > Cascading Style sheets

    2 then reference this CSS via the shared components = > templates = > edit the template Page = > a level Tabs - No. Sidebar = > definition = > header

    Added this line before the < / head > tag:

    < link rel = "stylesheet" href = "" #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #orange.css "type =" text/css">"

    Then changed:

    < h1 > < a href = "" #HOME_LINK # "id ="uLogo"> #LOGO # < /a > < / h1 >"

    VOX

    < hgroup > < a href = "" #HOME_LINK # "id ="uLogo"> #LOGO # < /a > < / hgroup >"

    Although the CSS works well, I have two questions:

    1. the sides of the banner are blue instead of white

    2. the disconnect next to the user name button is hidden and only appears when you browse on

    Does anyone know how to solve these problems?

    You should not use hgroup here. Leave that as a h1 element.

    • hgrouphas been removed from the W3C HTML specification.

    Although the CSS works well, I have two questions:

    1. the sides of the banner are blue instead of white

    The original blue background of the theme is actually applied to the containing header element, not the h1 (or hgroup in your example), it is the rule that must be overridden:

    header#uHeader {
      background: #fff;
    }

    2. the disconnect next to the user name button is hidden and only appears when you browse on

    The link to logout of the theme is white to contrast with the original blue background. What should be replaced by a dark to be visible on the new white foreground color, and a contrasting hover appearance applied:

    div.userBlock a:link,
    div.userBlock a:visited {
      color: #004F7C;
    }
    div.userBlock a:hover {
      background-color: #b6ceed;
      color: #fff;
    }
