    Hello AdrianaMonti,

I'm sorry but the Microsoft forum rules do not help users circumvent passwords of Windows OS or software systems.

I do not understand why you have problems with re-setup because it has nothing to do with your original administrator password. Your copy of Windows came pre-installed on your PC or did you buy a boxed copy and install it yourself?

If you are unable to re - install probably you get error messages. What these error messages?

  • Is there a way to reset the SuperFetch?

    Hi all,

    Core Intel Quad Q8200 @ 2, 33GHz

    4 GB of RAM

    Windows 7 Premium x 64

Question: Is there a way to reset the Superfetch?

I have seen/read the solutions on the forum but most of the time related to XP or Vista and I was wondering if it is possible to reset the Superfetch to a clean state and let it rebuild from scratch.

Reason why I ask is a very high memory use, crawling upward after the restart of 25000 KB up to more than 1, 8 GB (search in taskmanager and ill with Process explore (Sysinternals) it down to Superfetch (SysMain).) The entire system making it sluggish.

Recently had a disc that has been started to brake down and succeeded him and used speakers to put everything back in place (because I had just 2 months before doing a clean Win7 (x 64) new reinstall and finally all my software and ready updates).

However, to be able to start and be able to create an image with True Image, I had to do a restart of Windows with repair of the dvd. Now in the search for this use of memory looked in the Windows\Prefetch directory and I see a lot of programs that are not used after that replace hard drive (Tools for finding the problem hard drive etc..).

Maybe it's the reason that SvcHost (LocalSystemNetworkRestricted) running this Superfetch (SysMain) uses a lot of memory. I know what Superfetch is for and do not want to disable it simply leaves start again and get rid of all the old .pf files in this directory.

Also watched to see what Ccleaner (with option clean prefetch advanced), but it shows some (19) of all files (75) in there and doubt that only clean the .pf files would cause Superfetch start at zero?

As far as I understood another display that he uses other files I could delete (AgGlFaultHistory.db AgGlFgAppHistory.db AgGlGlobalHistory.db) but also read that I could remove all %SystemRoot%\Prefetch as answer in this forum (link below)

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-system/SuperFetch-error-2/fd52fc9d-DBD8-48e3-94c3-1d06a249a912

Hope someone can help with this. Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Thank you for your response.

    I appreciate your time.

I suggest you to remove all the contents of the folder 'Prefetch' and check the issue.

However, try using "ReadyBoost" as soon as you have access to any USB flash drive.

Please keep us updated on the status of the issue.

  • Is there a way to reset the parameters of an inner glow effect changed the default settings, Illustrator CC 2015?

Is there a way to reset the parameters of an inner glow effect changed the default settings, Illustrator CC 2015? Every time I have to create and apply settings for an effect Illustrator crashes on them the next time I want to create a new effect. Can I reset their value by default without quitting smoking and redtarting the program?

    Thank you

    DC

I don't know. Best thing to do is to click on the effect in the appearance Panel, and then change the numbers 75% &.07 inches.

I really recommend to avoid using an inner glow altogether. You have more control and creative options by adding a line and a Gaussian blur and using the appearance Panel. You also does not slow down your computer like by stacking of multiple instances of internal flow for example a brighter glow.

If you still wish to continue to use the inner glow, you can make a few graphic styles and add to your library to quickly switch your inner glow settings.

  • Administrator password does not not under Vista

I have a new desktop computer with Vista and have worked on getting it set up. I've set up user accounts, but my password of the administrator account does not work. I tried all the options and checked the capslock and even tried a few misspellings, even if I don't have a problem the first 4 or 5 times I had used it. is there anyway to reset it without having to reinstall Windows since I don't have a password reset disk?

You did not account for additional user with administrative privileges? If this isn't the case, you will need to use a program like NTpasswd empty password for your account, so you can connect.

Download the bootable CD .iso image file, burning with burning software, third party (as an image, not in the form of data), starting with the media that you have created. You need to maybe change the boot order in the BIOS or obtain a menu of boot command temporary with the pressure of a special key. NTpasswd will run. Follow the instructions carefully.

Once you're back in the system, here are my suggestions for how to configure user accounts in Vista:

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult. It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but it will take third-party tools and work outside the operating system.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

  • Is there a way to save the registry?

I had a hard drive crash, the technology was able to recover all my files, but had to use a new disk to start. The old drive is now a slave but who no longer starts. Could not save my programs, because the new registry is not correct. Is there a way to save a registry and re install. Since all my files could be saved, I think there will be a way of not having to reinstall all my programs again. Some are older and after moving several times, I don't know even where to find the original programs to reinstall them, but I would use the the one I had. Also can I do a full backup of the entire system on an external drive that could be used to restore my computer to a State before the hard disk crash? (including the registry, of coarse)

You can try cloning the old hard drive to a new one and then try to fix the boot errors. However, if there are other problems with the old hard drive, it may not work.

But just passing the registry would not work. It is specific enough for the installation. You must move files much more (which would make a clone - it would be a 1:1 copy of your old disk).
If the drive is not too badly damaged, a clone would probably work for to revert you to a State before the accident. However, it is not for the faint-hearted. You need a spare drive to clone and then to repair the operating system to start correctly as well as other errors that appear along the way.
  • is there a way to reset the appearance of front object to the default values?

Is there a way to reset front panel control or the appearance of the indicator to the default values? For example, let's say you take a Panel before complext, change all the fonts size, ridiculous color random colors and resize all controls and indicators of odd sizes and then save the VI. So, what is the most effective to reset the controls and indicators way to default appearance they had when they were initially created? Is the fastest way to create a new control or the indicator for each control ruin and the indicator and rewire the entire schema?

    -root

You could do a replace (right click) on the updated control and replace it with the original order, this would save you the rewiring but when even require manual labor.

  • Windows Vista, administrator password, does not

I had the windows administrator password since I bought my laptop about a week, there is the password no longer works, (no one has changed the password). Finger printer reader, my impression, finger reads me the green check mark, and then displays the incorrect user name or password. Dell has no help nor Microsoft, called the two, both passes the question to the other. I have many family photos and some documents I want to turn off my computer, I can't get them because of the password, I bought a case that Dell said to do, it does not fit my hard drive. Can someone tell me how to bypass my password so that I can get at my photos or what I can do to at least get my photos in the admin account that is displayed in my full name. I tried to type in the command prompt, and nothing works, please any help, I would be so grateful... Dell and Microsoft told me, there's a way to get around, but they cannot help doing it on my own computer.

    Hello

Donna I don't know how the fingerprint reader interacts with the opening of session if it is an assumption. This method
works on systems without the reader of fingerprints and perhaps on your system when used in conjunction with
your fingerprint reader. Hope it's useful.

If this is not enough you are no worse off as you are now.

Try this - use the hidden administrator account to lower your user account (to the lowest level) APPLY/OK
then go back and reset it to the Admin APPLY/OK - this clearly allows corruption. Do this several times.
Then fix the password in your usual account. Do not forget to leave your account administrator if you
    wish.

Make another Admin account with your password and use it to fix the others if necessary. (just for
repair, don't use regular account, not a safety valve) always keep a spare ADMIN account.

DO NOT LEAVE THE ENABLED LSA OR USE DAILY. If it corrupts you are toast!

  • My administrator password does not work (I forgot not it). What should I do to access log on as an administrator?

3 people know the password and none of us were able to get. What can be done to reset the password or to get the password to be accepted? We have no install disc.

    1. make sure that shift caps lock is turned off.
    2. try a different keyboard.

If that doesn't help, clear the password with NTpasswd.

Download the bootable CD .iso image file, burn with third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Start with the media that you have created. You need to maybe change the boot order in the BIOS or obtain a menu of boot command temporary with the pressure of a special key. NTpasswd will run. Follow the instructions carefully.

  • My Apple password does not work when I try to download the Flash Player

I tried again and again download Flash Player on my Mac OS 10.9.5 and when I try to open the installation program, asked me my password and it does not work. However, I used the password to enter this community, and it worked. I use Chrome as my browser. Any help to achieve this will be highly appreciated.

    Hello Gail Rooney,

I'm not 100% sure if you are referring to your account admin on your Mac, if you were not made me know that I would love to help with anything that anyone else. Anyway, if you need to reset your password for your admin account, so you can leave Flash Player just install, follow these steps and you should be able to reset the password of the admin account. You need to restart your computer. Then, press the command and R keys at the same time when the gray screen appears and hold them until you see the Apple logo. A low loading bar will appear under the logo. Then wait for the recovery mode to load click the utilities tab in the menu bar, select Terminal, type resetpassword, and press ENTER. Close the Terminal window and behind it, you will find the password reset utility. Everything you have to do now is to select the user account you want to reset, enter a new password or leave the field empty and click Save. Then reboot again and sign in to your account admin with the password you just put.

  • HP z2100: Firmware update would not - is there a way to put the firmware directly on the HARD drive?

I was really happy to correct my hp z2100 today... lala lala and then update firmware to be updated!

    What a mistake!

Everything was fine until the end when the printer said it restarts and after that it does not start. I think the drive hard does not have the system on it more and cannot start.

    What now?

Maybe it's the same problem, I've had a few years on a Z2100.  Updated the firmware and the printer would not restart.  Reinstall from cable to the screen, and everything came back OK.
