Adobe Acrobat DC (markup pen-pencil drawing)

Where is the pen/pencil drawing?  I can't seem to find where it went in the new Adobe Acrobat DC I use as a trial.

In the Document at the top left, select (right of the House and tools) and in the right panel, select comment and you should see the comment toolbar appear at the top, which should include the pencil tool.

    Hi Amy,

I misunderstood what you were asking. I thought you were talking about the opacity of an unsigned signature field, but now I see what you're asking.

What you need to do is remove all white space in the image that you use like a custom signature appearance. Acrobat cannot do this, you will need a different tool. Adobe Illustrator can do what you want to do. You would need to convert the bitmap into vector image and hide the white space.

  • Complete and sign Lag with Microsoft Surface book pen. How can I fix it? Adobe Acrobat DC (15.010.20060)

I am currently paying for monthly service. I really like using Adobe Acrobat DC. The embankments and the characteristic sign is the main reason I pay for the service (and the function send / track).

When using the pen of book Surface to draw a signature it is so late my clients have to pull very slowly. And yet, they laugh at the quality of their signatures. This shift made it either when you use the pen or with your finger. Please help solve this problem.

This has been common for some time now, and the AutoInk plugin (https://www.evermap.com/autoink.asp) uses the approach of one of the reasons for this. It would be great if Acrobat uses the same inking support that is built into the operating system for that. It would make a good feature request: Acrobat Feature Requests

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, when I or draw rectangle or circle in a paragraph that I save it, when I tried to print is not coming on my print why?

When you print, you have the option to only print comments (annotations, stamps, etc.). So when the print dialog box appears, make sure that 'Document and annotations' is selected in the dropdown list «Comments & forms»

  • I have Adobe Acrobat XI and can not know how to draw a line.  I need to redline some documents but can not.  Does version XI even not this feature?

I have Adobe Acrobat XI and can not know how to draw a line.  I need to redline some documents but can not.  Does version XI even not this feature?

Yes, Acrobat Pro XI and standard have this ability.
There is the comment > Annotations > online tool.
There is the comment > Annotations > tool bar.

In the Properties dialog box for one, you can select a desired color (i.e. red).
So, in properties, you can check a choice to make this the default value of the tool.

Basically, all versions of Acrobat (including the new "DC") offer this feature.

If you work with a scanned image that has been placed in the PDF don't forget to use the OCR to get an output of a 'real' text - Acrobat provides a feature of OCR.

    Be well...

Assuming that you are dealing with a PDF file provided by the IRS, you will not be able to e-sign. but you can fill the fields using Adobe Reader or Acrobat. The version of form W-9 that I have does not include a date field, but you can use the feedback tool add text to add a date. You can also digitally sign or use the annotation of pencil tool to draw a signature.

  • Text opacity/transparency in Adobe Acrobat v11.0.0 box

    Dear all,

I would like to ask if it is possible to adjust the opacity or transparency in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (v11.0.0)?

Now, if there is material behind/on the back of the text box, this material will shine through and confuse my text box. I would like to than the text box to cover the bottom.

    Thank you very much!

If you use the append text tool in Control Panel to editing content, then there is no 'box' own background color-this tool applies the new text directly in the content of the page.

If you use the text box tool under comment > drawing markups, then after you have entered the text simply right-click on either the comment itself or the entry in the comments list Panel, then choose Properties. In the dialog box change the background color other than 'none '.

  • Redact in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI parameters

Could someone direct me to the settings for writing private information such as tax file numbers in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. In Australia, the tax file numbers can be 123 456 789, 123456789, 12 345 678 or 12345678 and by law we are not allowed to image with these digits visible documents.

I know how to write manually, but some documents he redacts all monetary information and tax file numbers

    Hello Stephen,

Are you redact to search for and remove text using pattern match? If so, I can't imagine how you would be able to cover all variants of the tax file numbers you mentioned, still no effect and ordinary numbers.

It seems that the best would be to manually redact by drawing rectangles around the area to be redacted, or manually by selecting the specific text you want to write.

  • Not visible on desktop mobile Adobe Acrobat comments

When you use Acrobat desktop, a tool we use to comment on internal is the rectangle tool in the palette "drawing Annotations. Once you draw a rectangle, if you double-click the Red edge of the box, you can add a text comment that essentially adds a reminder to the border area.

However, when you view this PDF on the iOS Adobe Acrobat application, the red box is visible, but there is no way to see/view the comment added with it.

As a side note, the 'iAnnotate PDF' iOS app allows bubbles to be operated and read.

Please do not comment on the process mentioned above, is not looking for a work-around, seeking to have it looked at in and corrected in a future version of iOS of Acrobat.

Thanks for the comments. You are right that we do not currently support display text associated with certain types of comments. We plan to add support for this in a future release.

  • using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC can move a 3D view of one page to another?

    Hello

The link provided will give access to a PDF file.

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/33rv39xer3q269d/combine.PDF?DL=0

In the PDF file, you will find two pages.

Page 1 resembles a drawing, page two has a 3D view.

I want to spend the 3D view of page 2 to page 1... to display the 3D view ' above' or with the drawing on the same page... want to have the 3D view in the upper right corner of the drawing.

So... it's not just it's resizing as well.

I can't change the view using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 3D... probably because of my immense lack of Acrobat edition of knowledge.

When I select the 3D view and click Properties (in the menu) I see no change the handles around the 3D view.

I tried to drag these... but nothing happens...:)

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Acrobat extreme noob... aka Kevin.

    AHA!

I managed to move... selects... then edit cut... then click on the desired page and... Change the dough :))

Developers - Thank You for making the easy editor :)

    But...

I can not yet use the handles to change the size - still seem to be locked.

The 3D view is represented by a small? symbol...

More... I found an interesting option in the properties to the point of view, a view floating... I like this... :))

  • Cannot add the signature for adobe acrobat reader dc

Hi, I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2015.008.20082 with Mac OS X 10.10.3. When I click the icon 'sign', I'm not get 'add signature' or 'add the initials' menu drop-down options, I see only the previous signatures.  I must have got to create signatures that I have previously, but now I do not understand.  I tried to reinstall the drive, but nothing has changed.  I looked at the preferences to create a signature and don't see a place to put in operation.  Please help, this is driving me crazy!  Thank you.

    Hey mark259,

Once you click on the 'Sign' icon to the title of the fill tool & sign, just click on icon to clear the previous signatures or initials.

After deletion, once again see you the label as Add Signature / add initials where you can choose to type, draw, or fix the image of the signature to the PDF document.

Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards

  • Is it possible to 'ring' selected numerical values easily to an editable PDF file with Adobe Acrobat?

    Hi guys,.

I work in the film industry and we are looking to use Adobe Reader to create sheets of digital camera report that will connect the crucial information for the editors/vfx production on a highly publicized movie shooting this year. Usually this is done with sheets of paper carbon-copied, but a new trend is to make digitally in order to facilitate life for everyone.

One of the things as facts easily on paper is the selected circle takes so the laboratory handling film knows how to treat film: this can save a lot of time and money. Shooting digitally the same thing applies, transcode only you some takes, and it makes it easier for everyone.

My problem with design sheets is implementing in a pdf editable using popular software, the most popular of them are Adobe Acrobat. A numeric value that represents a number to take will be in a column in the pdf file, and I need a way of circling this value to basically a click of a button or similar. Is this possible to do with Acrobat?

One of the other things it is easy to do on paper is to draw a distinct line when a roll of camera/memory card is changed, if there is a way to make a line in a table "BOLD" again, the click of a button, which would be extremely useful!

Thanks guys, I look forward to hearing your suggestions!

The way to do it using the tools of comments. There is none

built-in component that can be used to surround an element on the page, but

There are various ways to select an item (boxes,

Radio-boutons, drop-down menus, list boxes, etc.).
