Not visible on desktop mobile Adobe Acrobat comments

When you use Acrobat desktop, a tool we use to comment on internal is the rectangle tool in the palette "drawing Annotations. Once you draw a rectangle, if you double-click the Red edge of the box, you can add a text comment that essentially adds a reminder to the border area.

However, when you view this PDF on the iOS Adobe Acrobat application, the red box is visible, but there is no way to see/view the comment added with it.

As a side note, the 'iAnnotate PDF' iOS app allows bubbles to be operated and read.

Please do not comment on the process mentioned above, is not looking for a work-around, seeking to have it looked at in and corrected in a future version of iOS of Acrobat.

Thanks for the comments. You are right that we do not currently support display text associated with certain types of comments. We plan to add support for this in a future release.

  • Why will not identify check plugin that adobe Acrobat is current?

Whenever I open a Firefox window, I get a tab plugin check telling me that my Adobe Acrobat is obsolete. I installed the new version three times now. I even downloaded the installation of the page ftp from Adobe, rather than the page that check plugin sent me just to be sure. The plug-in control page even says that I am running version 10.0.1, the latest version I can find, but still insists on the fact that one is obsolete. What happens here?

My problem: as well as update Adobe Acrobat is not recognized, the Plugin Check page don't stop posting at the start of Mozilla.

My Solution: I have uninstalled Viewpoint Media Player from Windows. There is no need for me to remove the GOAL (in reference to the previous answer). If the 2 were installed at the same time seem irrelevant because GOAL still works without perspective and two of my Plugin problems have been resolved.

  • Why can I not install older versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader?

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC could not print a PDF on my HP LaserJet 6MP printer, but there is no problem on another PC by using drive X.

  • PDF files not opening not in IE11, tried using Adobe Acrobat and also DC. PDF, downloads and opens outside IE11

    Is anyone able to help!

We have recently improved our system of IE11 company and we have a lot of problems regarding the opening of PDF files now. We use desktop computers Windows 7 64 bit and I tested on Windows 8.1 and it works fine.

Let's go to the below URL and does preview now work (this link is in the public domain), there is a black box and the white cross where it overview PDF should be.

    http://www.FCA.org.UK/your-FCA/documents/requirement-notices/Ariste-holding-limited-vreq

Also when you click on "Download" on the same page, sometimes, a download box will appear in IE to the button saying he doesn't have to download and press 'Retry' when you press retry it downloads and the PDF opens outside the IE. This is despite the add-on Adobe reader set 'enabled '... Sometimes it will open the PDF file outside immediately. However, we really need open the PDF file to open it in Internet Explorer, so we can enter the URL. Oddly enough if you disabled and enable the Adobe PDF Reader add-on it will open in the Internet Explorer browser until you close the window of IE (However the preview still doesn't!)

I tried to install Adobe reader DC and it worked on my machine, but then when I unrolled to others it did not work! The preview works for me and also a PDF file opens in the browser always (even after a reboot). However, when I installed this for others it was the same result do not load the preview and the opening outside the IE. The strange turn had similar results as before. I connect to PCs others and it works very well but their profile it doesn't. I have reset their server profiles, but it's still a question! As I log in machines of others and it works there seem not to be a PC problem?

I have searched extensively on the internet and tried all kinds of clearing cache, reset Internet Explorer settings, tabprocgrowth reg, repaired the software adobe reader and adobe reader DC, closed in protection in reader mode, compatibility mode

I am really at my wits end... someone can help please!

It looks like this case has finally be resolved - we have installed an Adobe security update and it seems to have fixed all of the issues around this now.

  • Adobe Acrobat has taken possession of my computer. All files try to open in Adobe.

adobe acrobat somehow took on my computer... it is few pictures is all over my desk and it tries to open all.  How can I stop?  I tried to recover but it did not work :(

original title: adobe acrobat opens all programs

Have you tried using 'open with' on a shortcut? You can open the executable programs?

It sounds really like you accidentally attached .lnk extensions to adobe acrobat. This creates users default choice on all your shortcut to adobe acrobat links.

Since the default action is caused by the user (as it was accidental) choice, you can be able to restore everything simply by creating a new user account. See if the icons to return to their natural state, then knit. If so, just move all your files and folders and delete the old account. If you use Outlook, you also need to reset where it looks for files of Outlook, but it can be automatic (do not try to start Outlook until what everything is copied on the property). If you use this method, remember to copy the hidden appdata folder. Just show all before you begin the copy.

The other method which requires a regedit is also quite simple, but recommend that you set a manual restore point before you start. A regedit always has the potential to mess up your system. the procedures are:

    1. Click on the Start Menu, type regedit in start search and press ENTER.
    2. Navigate to the following registry branch:

    NtVersion ntVersion\Explorer\FileExts\ [ext]

Replace the [ext] with the real extension of the file you want to restore the file type association to return to the original Windows 7 by default (probably .lnk). If you unsure, simply browse through all the Sub-touche under FileExts.

    3. delete the subkey named UserChoice.

    4. exit the registry editor.

    Theoretically, each method of work.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC student and teacher edition - Amaozon bought for 2 times 10 Windows operating system won't recognize the disc and display the icon of Adobe.  It appears on avle

    Hello people

Received the replacement drive - thank you.  However as before when I go to install the drive on my computer does not display the content of the program.  He treats the drive as if it were a blank disc and asks if the disk needs to be formatted.  The player does not display the name of Adobe Acrobat and if you click the drive the little swirly just keep swirling.  The name of the program does not appear and when you click on install nothing happens.  My computer is a Windows 10 operating system. I pass the proof of eligibility and received a serial number, but I never get the installation program.

I went to a friend and we tried the drive of his computer to Windows 7 and the name of the program showed when you click top started to install.  My friends computer is a Windows 7.

Is it possible that the revised version Adobe Acrobat Pro DC isn't 10 compatible windows?  Why am I having this problem?  Are you able to help me?  I can / t believe Windows 10 and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC would not compatible 6 months after upgrading Windows 10.

I appreciate your response and your help.

    Hi waso33,

Please use this link to download & install the program on your system:- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html

And then using the serial number that you can activate the program.

Let me know if any problem will persist.

  • Failed to install Adobe Acrobat Standard XI on the computer Windows 10 - missed installation error message

I recently updated my computer's hard drive and performed a clean installation on Windows 10 Home on my system.  I'm trying to reinstall my copy of Adobe Acrobat Standard XI (11.0.07).  However, installation is almost complete, and then the installation starts a restoration process and ends with "Installation interrupted".

At first, I tried to install the Adobe software via download Dell digital delivery, as the software was purchased about a year with the computer.   That option has failed, so I dared to Adobe's Web site and downloaded the Acrobat XI installation files myself and extracts.  Failed to install with this option.  I tried to run setup.exe as administrator and in compatibility with Windows 7.  Installation failed with the same error.  My first conclusion was perhaps the installation of Adobe file has been corrupted or the extraction process has worked correctly.  So, today, I downloaded the Adobe installation once more and extract the files.  Same results.

I even tried to use the troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows installation, this doesn't work anymore.

I also disabled my antivirus software and tried to run the installer with the antivirus disabled, and even once, it did not work.

The Adobe Acrobat installed through the installation process gets down to the last part where he goes to the copy of the new files, and then patch the files, and then at the very last minute, it turns into restoration and finally displays and error indicating that the installer interrupted.

Currently I'm under 10 Home Windows, 64 - bit and MS Office 2016.

  • Handful of bad file Adobe Acrobat DC - comments not saved, please help!

I put it in a 'chat' with adobe, but they are too busy to respond. I have an account with adobe

    Acrobat Standard DC subscription (month-to-month)

    DC Acrobat Standard membership

I get an "incorrect file handle" in format Adobe Acrobat, DC when I try and save a PDF I made comments on. So I don't then save it and have to close it and all my comments are lost. I need to know why he continues to be and how stop it happening, but - now - I want to know if I can recover the PDF with comments that I created in the last 2 hours. I can't go through our technical service that I can't restore a previous version, because it has not been saved within the time limit.

Unfortunately, you will have to start from scratch this time. But there is a way to save den comments when you can not save the file. Export all comments in a data file. Then close the pdf file. Reopen the PDF file, then import your comments. I wrote an article a while back on there here: http://creativepro.com/working-with-fdfs-forms-data-files/

  • Creation of Mobile link is not Visible on the desktop browser

    I hope this makes sense.

I have a mobile site with a link to my site Office. I also want to add a link to the mobile office site visitors back to the mobile site. But I don't want this visible link on a desktop browser... is visible on a mobile browser.

You can see an example of this by going to tipb.com on a mobile device, scroll to the bottom and click on the "switch to regular theme", then do scroll down on this page, you will see a "switch to the Mobile Version" is not visible on a desktop browser.

Hoping that it is quite simple.

    Thank you

    Steve

    Hello

For the moment I can think of two possible ways to do so, (there probably more).

    1. Use javascript of php to make the device 'sniff' and the relevant site with the link server, or a ssi to include the link for if you use php.
    2. Use of the media queries with the display of the corresponding link to visible/hidden as it fits the size of the screen.
