Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1.5 installation update problems

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro installed 8.1.5. When I try to download 8.1.6 I get the following message is displayed.

The path has failed, because enforcement has been altered since it was originally installed. Go to the Adobe support for more information on how to reactivate disable them components before installing the patch. Or you can uninstall and reinstall the app.

I would rather not uninstall and reinstall if I can help it. Could someone tell me please how to look for components that have been disabled. I'd be happy to reactivate if I know where they are.

Thank you very much for your help.

Sincerely,

JudithAnne2014

To summarize for those who are still confused (I got it to work), deploy the Setup.exe (no order required for installation in silent mode) in SCCM.

The Adobe Customization Wizard allows you to make changes, licenses and other. I used the ACW to inject acrobat.dll value into the value by default "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\Language\current\" and then saved as "Custom.mst" changes with the transformation to generate in the ACW.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - tools quick - order record is not displayed

Fast tools for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, 'Save' is checked in the 'Show file tools', but only an empty space, not an image, to 'Save' command is displayed in the quick toolbar.  Images for other commands, such as "Print" will appear in the quick toolbar.  Indeed, the empty space to 'Save' command actually works to save a document, if you click on the empty space (i.e., the image of the "Save" command does not simply appear, but the 'Save' command is enabled).  This is true even if you're editing a document, and is not a situation where the "Save" command is grayed out - there is no image at all.  See the picture of the quick toolbar below.  I "fixed" my installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, but it has not solved the problem.  This problem started only recently, apparently after an update of the software of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or a software update of Windows 10 Pro.

I finally found the solution in another message, who advised to delete (and then allow Adobe Acrobat DC to regenerate) the 'IconCacheAcro.dat' file to '% userprofile%\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\2015 '.

  • Problem installing Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.

Recently purchased 10 licenses (download) for Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.  During installation, we get the following error: "Adobe Reader cannot open acrobat pro 11, because it isn't a supported file or because the file has been damaged."  We have updated our reader to the current version, but still get this error message how can we solve the problem, so we can use the program?

Uninstall adobe reader, then run the vacuum cleaner (http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html), and then restart your computer and install acrobat pro.

  • HP mfp m277dw adobe print Pro XI issues - it is a problem of update of Acrobat 11.0.14

OK, long story short. Printer is connected to a Netgear router, but this is not the problem as a HP 8450 is also linked and prints both being settings as network printers.

    Installed software.

    NetFramwork 4.6.1

    software full m277dw HP mfp

    Adobe Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.14

    MS OFFICE 2016 Desktop

    Laptop MS OFFICE 2013

    Windows 7 x 64 SP1 of Ult

Crossed ethernet to the router to the printer.

As you can see here when I go to print a pdf file open in Adobe in the office, that he is unable to print, but doing the same process of a laptop computer it works. If I restore my desktop and test printing it works, but if I print from adobe again once it stops and I have more from the printer. But do the same works laptop to form thin double-sided or single-sided. Does anyone have any idea of what is happening here? I figured it like Adobe, but this same version is on the laptop and opens the pdf and print without problem to the color of the Laser. I'm totally lost here and is going to wipe the office and redo all my installation to find what the (& * (& happens.) Something I know for sure is fucked in the Office because a Samsung laser color leave before I replaced worked fine impression of Adobe, thus there was no double printing but printed when print jobs were sent there. So tonight, I'm going to do the housework and redo my install and then install the printer and word and Adobe, and then print from adobe to see what is happening. There is a chance that I might have to change my ethernet cable direction unique to the current address of my computer to the router with an ethernet connection as well as full disclosure of my network printer comes back to my office. Maybe it's where source end of the system, but which is so inconsistent since my previous Samsung with crossover to the router has no problems with Adobe Acrobat pdf print...

    Update:

I discovered that the problem is the pdf file created using Turbo tax. All other files pdf prints without problem. When I printed the TT of the PDF Acrobat pdf file on my laptop after printing, it loses the HomeGroup connections network and I had to plug it back to make it work. So now the problem only occurs if you attempt to print a pdf TT then the queue printing and netowork computer is lost. This is what I found from today. If you are going to print your file PDF TT to print from a remote computer mail not the same as your use that is going to kill the printer driver and so you will be able to print from this computer to the printer again unless you reformat and restore your computer. USE a laptop computer connected to the home network/group to open the PDF and print if it loses the connection you can reconnect and then print again. Redid a test print from the laptop and it prints again once I have connect to the homegroup. Why this is happening in this PDF file do not know.

That reverse OK... tried to test print on office and now it does not work... what the & * ^ * ^ & * happens.  But regular PDF print work...? It starts to seem created pdf some work and some do not want to print correctly.

On the one hand when he kills the test print or you cannot print it - it just ahurir me here. If she can't make a test print I know that something was wrong this is my test. If she can't test printing there was a problem. I might have to change my ethernet router to crossover cable to see what is happening there. It could be that the HP color laser do not just use or regular ethernet connection on my desktop.

Okay, I went back to the laptop after redo the homegroup connection. From now on, I think that this is more or less related to the XI Acrobat pro 11.0.14 updated before that I know that it worked very well. I could restore my system and uninstalling Adobe Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.14 and ccleaner and remove folders and links to Acrobat and restart and reinstall Acrobat XI and until 11.0.13 only this version works very well. So I would like to warn of other user for now stay in the 11.0.13 Acrobat XI and not go or install 11.0.14.

What I found on the laptop after Homegroup connections and going back to print say this:

The DDS server connection failed. I suspect it's something wrong with the update to Acrobat XI 11.0.14, which is the cause of this. I tried to print old pdf printed without problem had problems. I will restore my HP dv5 laptop and Acrobat full 11.0.14 to uninstall and reinstall up to 11.0.13 and try again and if it works I'll do the same for my office. So if people come talk about Acrobat print problems I think it's an Adobe problem with 11.0.14 version and uninstall will not fix it - requires a full restore to 11.0.13 version that is clean of 11.0.14 to solve this problem. I never thought that I would have this famous problem and now I'll think twice updated Adobe I'll probably wait for the second version of 11.0.16 or 11.0.15 to update.

Ok.. I found a picture of work with 11.0.13 which was good. I started that and reinstalled all of my updates of software and which reimagee. Then I reinstalled the software m277dw-crossed fingers touch the wood-CCleaned of the remains. Reimage as this image-restarted. And went to the test print.

    1. print a custom made pdf and download the pdf.

The two printed pages without problem

    2. do you have a printer that self test print

Done that and it has worked before having the pdf print it won't do anything when I made this process.

Conclusion from now with Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.13 work - I will continue to use this version to print my tax returns. But going back now to a previous image which was 11.0.13 work cleared up my problem. The only changes I made was in Acrobat preferences was to not let updates. I just did a Test print and it went through without a problem.

TIPS: someone at - it still on 11.0.13 Pro or reader - do not go 11.0.14 because it seems that something in this version is originally a problem then it helps. Just make sure that your pdf you receive or get verified sender and sites and wait until 11.0.15/16 to update to be sure of the problem of 11.0.14 is fixed. As to what I could not say but I know it causes problems printing to my HP and use it caused all kinds of other problems.

I had to replace the hard drive on my computer and lost the installation that I pay every month for. How to install the Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on the computer again?

You can download using any one of the 3 methods.

    1)

    Sign in to www.cloud.acrobat.com

    3)

You can download it from Acrobat Pro XI of direct download link.

  • Installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on PC Windows 10 - Patch problem

    Hello

A quick check of my Adobe account reveals that I purchased Abobe Acrobat IX (9) Pro in 2010, and then either purchased or upgraded to XI (11) Pro level in 2013.  These were installed on a PC running Windows 7.  I recently bought a PC running Windows 10 / 64-bit and want to reinstall Pro XI.  I did a fresh download of the installer Pro XI.  However, when I tried to install it, I get an error message saying "this patch package could not be opened.  Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package. "Can someone help me solve this?  Some things to note:

    • I'm not sure if the XI (11) Pro in 2013 was a completely new software package or just an upgrade of the IX (9) Pro software.  If the latter, I should install IX (9) first Pro?
    • I am currently using the Microsoft Edge browser that comes with the PC running Windows 10.  I don't know if it meets the conditions for the installation of XI (11) Pro https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/system-requirements-acrobat-family-products.html.

    Thank you

Unfortunately, it did not work.  I opted for a subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC which has installed without any problem and seems to work correctly.
