Adobe Acrobat Pro re - install
My old laptop, which had Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 installed, had a hard drive crash hard. I am trying to install from the CD of origin on a new computer and install told me that I have to turn off on my old computer (which I can't do because it's broken) so that I can install on my new computer. How should I proceed now?

I bought a copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (English Windows) in September 2014. My laptop crashed (keyboard / mouse drivers erased) and had to have windows 8.1 re-installed. How can I install Adobe Acrobat Pro XI installed on a PC replacement?
Just use archive installer disc / download and serial number, as before.
You can usually install on up to two devices without having to get Adobe to download.

Error 16 when installing Adobe Acrobat Pro XI
Got a new Dell laptop, running Windows 10 and necessary for the installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. Error 16 and uninstalled and reinstalled three times. With the startup of the computer between each installation. Always get error 16. Have tried to install from Disc I had and also download XI on adobe.com. No method will work. I also tried the AcrobatUpd11016 update. Has nothing. Really try to find a solution for this. Any suggestions?
Well, after 2 more hours of scouring the Adobe Forums, which for the most part have unanswered questions which is a shame given the quality of their products, I found the solution here:

But I do not use the cloud so I followed Solution 1: (Windows) only I opened the nonworking day installed the version Pro XI and has the "run as Administrator", which leaves me accepted the license agreement. I was able to open a PDF file. I closed the application and reopened. So far so good.

Adobe Acrobat Pro XI problem installing - using the serial number valid the old device
I tried several times to use a valid serial number to install Acrobat Pro XI on my new computer laptop.
However, whenever I get a message error that serial number is valid, but NOT for a product calling
on my PC. So when I try to select Acrobat Pro XI in the dropdown of options, it is not available as an option
(only other products).

Cannot install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
I tried several days installing Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my computer. I have a serial number for this product that I received when I bought it. I am currently using Windows 7 Professional on this computer. When I run the Setup, I get an error 28000. Installation of the Module of licensing Acrobat failed. For possible solutions to this problem, please refer to http://www.adobe.com/go/acrobat_installation_rollback. I tried the rollback option and still the same error. Please help.

Thanks for the suggestions. I could make it work by dragging the folder/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager work machine to that question and Acrobat started fine after that.

Hello.
Yesterday morning, I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, and because of the time needed to install, I left my office for the day and my computer left overnight. When I arrived at my office this morning, I checked my email and found Court electronic filing of notifications of PDF documents filed in two federal cases, I'm working on that. I went to open the documents in both cases, but the documents would not open, and I have lost these documents. I could look at my computer screen and saw a message from reference in order for me to open documents, I had to accept the license agreement provided by Adobe.
I'm not an individual computer, and I seriously need your help. Could you please guide me for the license agreement I need to sign in order to retrieve and open PDFs that are filed in the federal courts, I practice before? I have some papers I have to drop off this morning in Federal Court, which must be filed in PDF, so time is critically important.

First of all, I'm sorry you had trouble. But you posted in the wrong place. This is the Adobe Connect forum, for users of Acrobat Connect Pro.
How have you lost documents? If documents have been emailed to you, you should always be able to recover again from your email. Try to launch Adobe Acrobat FIRST, then using file > open to retrieve the documents where you stored the on your computer.
Hereis a list of product licenses, but I do not think that this will help you. Try what I suggested and let me know what happened please. Good luck!
