I need to make a PDF from some 600 photos. Adobe Acrobat Standard application is competent to perform this task? Or is it better to buy Adobe Acrobat Pro and why?

Neither has relevant specific limits for this.

If you do for professional publication, Acrobat Pro contains print production tools.

However, be aware that YOU have NOT LAY OUT DOCUMENTS or MAKE of BOOKS in ACROBAT. Sorry to be emphatic, but some people have received the notice that it replaces Word, InDesign, Publisher, or other. This isn't.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 installation on laptop

I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro on my desktop I can install it on my laptop as well? Only a user.

    Hi Allan,

Yes, you can easily install Acrobat on your laptop as well and license with the same serial number of the Acrobat installed on your workstation.

Acrobat allows you for two installations on a single license, so there is no hassle for the installation of Acrobat with the same license on your laptop.

  • Cannot find the PDF of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI resource files.

    Hello

I installed the XI Acrobat Pro on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  When I open a XLSX of MS Excel 2010 64 bit file and choose Create a PDF file, displayed an error message "unable to find Adobe PDF resource files. Acrobat PDFMaker ".» What can I do to fix this?

I don't have this problem on the conversion of DOCX from MS Word 2010 64 bit version files.

This problem does not exist on the Acrobat X Pro version.

  • Problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI break with a PDF to fill several pages

I'm working on a project at work, on a Dell E6420 (Windows 7 Pro, 8 GB of Ram, Adobe Acrobat Pro XI), involving files PDF fillable. This means that a program takes excel data and converts it into several pages of information of fillable PDF to the screen used to auto fill in other servers. The problem is that when we convert about 10,000 rows of data (1000 + pages) the file will convert, but not open. The CPU fan turns, but nothing appears in the Task Manager, no errors are produced, nothing. The cpu hits 100% treatment, the fan turns and then winds down and the file never opens. I know that is not the corruption of data that I can take the same excel file, split in two, convert the two files, and I can open each created PDF file (about 790 pages each) separately. It will not now then, open both files at the same time. We tried this on multiple computers, with more than enough processing power, so we do not think that it is a matter of systems, but a limitation of the Adobe program.

I researched that Adobe has a 2 GB limit on the size of the file? These files are spell to 790KB - 1000KB in size, but are filled with fields to fill in, so I think it is misleading. Any ideas? I am desperately looking for help on this.

Here's a solution, and if anyone can explain why, I would like to know if its something Adobe can update/fix.

By unchecking "Enable Adobe JavaScript" I was able to get the files to open. So, apparently it is a resource or a similar limitation when using Adobe's JavaScript on the forms to fill out? Is turned off, it opens without a problem. Can someone help explain this?

  • Rotate multiple pdf/a using Adobe Acrobat Pro files

I have about 100 pdf files that I need to rotate to the left by 90 degrees.  I assume that many, if not all of them are stored in PDF/A format, aka PDF / Archive mode.  I have a workflow for rotate pdf/a files using my copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro version 9 however, the workflow I have is quite heavy.

    1. Open the pdf/a file in Adobe Pro 9
    2. Go to advanced->->-> pdf/a preflight remove pdf/a.
    3. Save the pdf file - so that is no longer in pdf/a mode.
    4. Reopen the pdf file.
    5. Now Adobe turn let us the document under him-> turn the Page.
    6. Save the PDF - technically this should be saved as a pdf/a again.

    Issues related to the:

    1. This workflow works to run a single pdf/a document.  However, it is rather bulky.  Is there a quicker way?
    2. I have seen some indications that it is possible to run several PDFs 90 degrees to the left at the same time.  However, it will work for pdf/a documents?  This feature is also available in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Version?

    Thank you

You can use a sequence of batch job to do this.

  • ERROR: DW006: Apple package cannot be installed successfully. ERROR: installer of third Adobe Acrobat Pro Installer.pkg XI payload failed with exit code: 1

Hi all, anyone having this problem with Acrobat Pro XI, IM USING MAC, also Yosemite if that helps.

Also Adobe CC, BASICALLY, HE just left and I had to uninstall, re install, and I get this

ERROR: DW006: Apple package cannot be installed successfully.

ERROR: installer of third Adobe Acrobat Pro Installer.pkg XI payload failed with exit code: 1

    Anyone with the same questions...

Also, I came across this problem. When I tried to install it using the direct Installer (linked to http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2015-direct-download-links.html), it has not as well, but the error log said:

Mar 23 17:02:23 MacBook Pro installed [313]:. / postinstall: error in the conversion of the plist format xml1 /Library/Preferences/com.adobe.PDFAdminSettings.plist

Mar 23 17:02:23 MacBook Pro installed [313]:. / postinstall: could not install PDFAdminSettings

So I deleted "/ Library/Preferences/com.adobe.PDFAdminSettings.plist" (it was an empty file) and re-directed the installation program. This time he succeeded.

  • Acrobat Pro XI Installation does not work - Adobe CC

The school that I administer recently bought more licensing Adobe CC, which includes Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.

I used the creative cloud Packager to create installers for Acrobat XI on its own and as part of the full suite of applications.

Everything installs fine except for Acrobat XI, there is no error during installation, however, the program is not visible in the Start Menu or Program Files, and if I look in programs and features, it is there, but with a generic white icon.

I have redownloaded the software several times and tried to install it on multiple computers running Windows 7 32-bit Ent, including imaging re one PC with a new installation of Windows to see if it works.

Just a parenthesis, please back up your installation files and other CD or disk backup for the future. Looks like a txt file, discuss the installation process would be too good.

Built the transform file and deployed to test clients. All are reporting the right click, convert Web pages with a trial dialog box appear. They can use Acrobat and create PDFs of the application without problem. In the case of Word, I get an error "Adobe Acrobat is not activated. Failed to create the PDF file.

I think that granting the exception offline should have rendered it useless?

To summarize for those who are still confused (I got it to work), deploy the Setup.exe (no order required for installation in silent mode) in SCCM.

The Adobe Customization Wizard allows you to make changes, licenses and other. I used the ACW to inject acrobat.dll value into the value by default "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\Language\current\" and then saved as "Custom.mst" changes with the transformation to generate in the ACW.

Edit the Setup.ini file to take into account what you want to do with Setup.exe. Here is mine with a few modifications for the anonymity of the company. Bold lines are the lines added to patch. The "BOLD" to underscore lines are where I've made changes. Note please. 1044 is the only remaining language code. Setup.exe

All other error codes will be accual mistakes, so we want those rejected.
