  Yes. Everything that is selected in the timeline panel - a character, another character, as well at the same time, etc. - is controlled by the webcam. You can record/select each one individually to make the scenes. Or you can export two separate characters and combine them into something like After Effects, which is what I did for this cartoon:

  You can launch the host character in these ways:-in After Effects, choose file > open Adobe character animation. -Launch Adobe animation character (Preview) from the folder Applications/Adobe animation character (Preview) (Mac) or the screen/menu start (Windows).

  I imported just a character animator scene in Adobe animate, and it seems to work. I don't know yet, animate, but I imported the first png of the scene and animate asked if I wanted the entire sequence of png. After that the video plays.

  There are so many different options during the creation of the characters. i.e. flashing or having the host track your eyelids so half, you can close your eyes, etc...

  One thing that I can't find a reference to these options anywhere.

  that is how to set up your .psd file to make it work. So far I am using other characters as a model, then creating my character inside the psd.

  Its running OK but there are features that I discover even exist as the eyelids half-closed until I opened a character for example.

  I just bought a Logitech C525 webcam - and there is NO video in character animation. I can see the audio levels move if I make a noise, however, can not see any video either.

  I have installed all the latest drivers - it seems to work elsewhere, but not in the Adobe character animation.

  I tried to switch to the next camera, camera by default, reinstalled drivers, Logitech drivers, Microsoft etc. drivers all to nothing does not.

  I do an animation with several female characters Rigged and the puppets of sequels and I was wondering if there is a way to make their hair and dresses to react to the movement when they bob their head it sinks and bounces in place or their dress looks not completely stiff. The Dangle effect in host character does it perfectly, but my character rigs are a little too complex to be inside for most of my stuff. I know that I can if I get off at keyframes and tweak with each movement, but if there is a simpler way, that would save a ton of time.

  AE has not built in physics. You will need to buy the Newton plug 2. otherwise the effects of distortion as Bézier and, of course, the puppet tool can treat some of these things and are not necessarily need a lot of keyframes. Well heard all sorts of expressions can help as well, but this would require to know the exact structure of your project.
