  Acrobat 9 is quite old and not longer supported. The last Windows OS that could use Acrobat 9 has Windows 7 and Acrobat had to have all updates applied.

  May I know the process to convert Doc to PDF files. If you use Acrobat to convert the files, and then with the same application you open.

  When you convert PowerPoint to PDF via Adobe PDF Pack, it will convert each slide in the deck to a page in the PDF file. Unfortunately, there is no way to change this.

  I have opened the .tiff file and saved in Acrobat.  I want to print the information in the file & I can't get the Acrobat file to open in Adobe Reader 9.0 (.pdf), even if the file says that it is in a .pdf format.  When I try to print the .tiff file, the output prints a quarter of the entire page (it comes out extremely oversized) and I have no way to change the output size (I've changed all the printer settings, margins, etc, does not).  The .tiff document is the text that I need to print, and is a document of several pages.  I try to print sections of the .tiff image if I get everything has been very frustrating, not to mention an extreme waste of paper.  Document is necessary for a sensitive legal presentation of time.

  Suggestions are welcome for all the foregoing.  Even if you could give me a way to boom the .tiff object then a page fits on a piece of paper, that would be great.   Thank you.

  the extension of tiff is an IMAGE file containing the TAG, not the correct ending for a file to .doc or .txt format. The .tiff must be opened in wordpad or notepad by right clicking on the file, then when he opened, you can use the Save as option to apply the right extension.   Have you tried TOOLS > advanced editing > text editing tool? You will need the fonts on your system to do the editing. You may be able to change the font to something on your system if necessary. The file is the text (in boxes) and the text editor tool should do the job. I managed to change the Arial fonts (not all of them, there are some who are still in the old police who are numbers). I posted the result on http://wadavis.ece.vt.edu/CO2 ophir lenses.pdf. (you may need to replace the spaces with % 20)
