Adobe do not keep their promises to me

Hi, my name is anthony.  It's very frustrating to have to type this.  I repeated this situation by phone at least 5 times in recent weeks.

I'll keep things simple here and do things at the point.

I signed up with CC May 15, 2015.  I signed up for just a few applications when I was persuaded to join the creative cloud together by a knowledgeable young man.  We spent 45 minutes on the phone and at the end of the call, I gave him my credit card number and have been a happy customer until recently.

on the one and only call I placed to adobe at the time, I became a member.  I was only interested in the plan of photoshop at the time but thought it was a good value to join the creative cloud together because I was going to finally work with Web sites.  I was promised 5 free accommodations with business catalyst.

Naturally, when I recently wanted to go live with 3 sites that I've been working tirelessly, I became aware that free accommodation 5 are no longer part of the transaction.

I placed a few calls to adobe and could not get info.  I was told to start a live chat with BusinessCatalyst cat.  I have yet to understand how to do this.  in any case, I've learned that BC has honor 5 free accommodation in the Member States that joined the or before April 30, 2015.  I joined 2 weeks after this date and promised 5 rooms on the first and the only call I made at the time and became a member of the cc on this call.  I'm blown away because I'm getting the impression that the case that I signed is not honored by adobe/BC.  I was told that although they understood why I'd be upset, there's nothing they could do.  my credit card is about to be charged for renewal and I would really like to know that adobe/BC will honor the promise their sales person for me.  Although I would find it difficult to cancel my subscription because of that, I'm seriously thinking.  I expected to be a partner with you for a long time and I feel very uncomfortable that I have something that I've been so flagrant promised would be refused.  If adobe/BC will not honor something that seems obvious to be reasonably envisaged after what I learned with no shade, so what else can I expect to be surprised all in the future.  I was hoping that on the construction of a long-term relationship in mutual respect, but now I'm not sure.

I ask you to honour you free accommodation 5.  Please let me know as soon as possible because I want to make a final determination as to if I do the right thing by sticking with you before I do to renew my subscription in the next few days.  Thanks in advance for your prompt attention to this matter.

It wasn't BusinessCatalyst that I talked to the origin.  I called adobe and yes there was a seller on the phone just as it is if you were to call the Sales Department today.  and Yes, that they sell me on getting the CC set.  Why is it so hard to believe? they would not do their work otherwise.  It is not that the seller had lied to me, it's more likely that they were not aware that they are offering is no longer 5 free sites because I signed with CC in the 2 weeks of put them an end to this promotion.  and yes the calls are recorded.  and Yes, the situation has been resolved to my satisfaction.

I THEN PROCEED TO TELL THE PERSON THAT I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH WHO I NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ON THE PHONE SO THAT IS WHY I CALLED HIM AND HE SAID THAT IT WOULD TRANSFER ME TO VIDEO THE GUY IN FIRST-LAND AND RE - EXPLAINING MY PROBLEM AND ILS FLAT ON HUNG UP ON ME. MY COMPANY SPENDING THOUSANDS a YEAR WITH THEM AND that IS HOW WE ARE TREATED.

    3 SOUL requires you to make the audio not compressed on .mov containers. What happened to my .mov h.264 with AAC audio? I don't want to send LPCM audio customers on a video of great rates low data. Video @ 1,500 Kbps and audio @ 1 536 kbit/s. It's stupid.

    So I think I see what the issue is here. What I think you are asking is to define the size and will fit the frame of the video along to without worrying about this arrangement perfectly (i.e. you're ok with a little bit be cut off). What default SOUL is to adjust the size of the video so that it always fits inside the frame. For this reason you may find yourself with black bars at the top / bottom or left/right. In order to get the desired behavior (assuming I'm not wrong), then you can follow the suggestion of Larry to change the settings of the adjustment. And Yes, these settings are available within the SOUL directly. When you are in the export of settings, make sure that the monitor is set to display the output and not the Source. You should then see the scaling Source drop down.

    Regarding the audio codec problem, I spoke with @MMeguro and it sound like there is a bug on our end, this is why you were only get decompressed instead of the more complete list. He has a bug so that we can investigate a fix. In the meantime, the workaround solution he suggests should get you full any time, it is not immediately available.

    I use MIcrosoft scanner and digital camera & Wizard to transfer photos from my files and then place them in a timed chronic order. When I copy the photos on a CD are not in the same chronologial order. WHY?

    When the photos are copied on a CD/DVD they are self
    sort... first in alphabetical order and then digitally.

    Once you have pictures in the order you prefer... re-
    name the files with numbers so they will stay in order.

    Right click on the first file in a group selected (highlighted)
    photos and choose... Name change.

    Enter the following for the #1 photo: (you can also
    Add a descriptive name for the Group)

    Been (10001) .jpg
    (Yes, there is a space between r and the first parenthesis)
    (Yes... Start the number 1 and use the zeros)

    Press on... Enter and Windows renamed others
    photos.

    Been (10002) .jpg
    Been (10003) .jpg
    Been (10004) .jpg
    Etc...

    If you want to continue the next group with the same
    ... Just to start on the following number sequence number:

    Been (10005) .jpg
    Been (10006) .jpg

    Download the Mac version and use your serial number to acrivate it.  As long as your license is mulriplatform it should work.

  • Why Adobe steals my money when I'm not using their software?

    I am an independent artist and there are several days in a month that I do not use their software. Yet, I am fresh, Saturdays, Sundays and days weeks at a time with having them the opportunity to temporarily suspend my account. Why can't have control of the time that I pay?  I feel robbed!

    You can choose the key card subscription sold re sellers, they are for 3 months, 6 months. We don't have any model for the daily load right now.

  • Why Adobe does not allow developers to create addons that do not have a remove feature

    I tried SmugMug export plugin ALLOYPHOTO Publish and don't think it was what I need, I decided to go back to the free version of SmugMug to see that ALLOYPHOTO has fixed their Add-ons to be not suppressible.

    I guess it's a plan of Alloyphoto of junk supplements function peoples of the lightroom program.

    Is there a reason why Adobe allows applications to be installed without a remove function?  I find it disappointing that Adobe does not there people out there who make software damage peoples programs and would not guarantee that all the addons can be removed.

    I see that Alloyphoto sells dozens of addons, so I recommend to anyone realize that Alloyphoto probably did this process with all of their software.  They announce the addons like that can be assessed for 10 days and don't tell you they did ensure that addons can be removed, is not what I call a trial product.

    Here are the steps to remove a LR plugin and delete it from your drive:

    1 file > plug-in Manager.

    2. in the left column, highlight the plugin and select it.

    3. in the right column, scroll down to the section of the State and, as appropriate, expand it by clicking on the triangle.

    4. click on view in the Finder (Mac) / show in Explorer (Windows) to open Finder/Explorer on the folder on the drive that contains the files of the plugin.   It ends in ".lrplugin".  On Mac, it will appear as a 'package' (a single file) and on Windows, it will appear as a folder.

    5. in the Solution Finder/Explorer, delete the plugin.

    6. in the LR plug-in Manager window, make sure the plugin is still selected and click Delete at the bottom of the left column.

    See the screenshot below. If you get hung up on any one of these steps, please indicate exactly what you've done and what has not worked.

    Creative cloud does not use a serial number and creative cloud subscribers for not having any serial number associated with their programs.  Creative cloud subscribers use their adobe ID to activate their programs.

    Download and install the desktop creative cloud application (after signing with your adobe - the same as that used to pay for your creative cloud subscription ID), https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

    Open the office application (a shortcut will be on your desktop) > click applications, and then select the programs you want to install.

    the desktop application gives you access to the cs6, cc, cc 2014 and cc 2015 apps.  and probably more in the future.

  • Cannot launch Dreamweaver - Support Adobe do not seem to have no idea what to do

    I'm sorry, but I will use this forum to not only point out my problem, but also to acknowledge the catastrophic support I received Adobe so far.

    I use Dreamweaver CC on Mac OS Capitan, recently after launch it crashes when you open a file. My first reaction was to uninstall and reinstall. However, it did not work. The question is then replaced by when you click the icon to start, nothing would happen. No error message, just a white box in the middle of the screen. So I contacted Support Chat Adobe. I phoned their cat 5 times in the last three days. Do us the same thing every time, uninstall, reinstall, they take over the computer access, they uninstall and reinstall, they play with the settings and folders. Nothing works. The last person restarted the computer, but does not let anything whatsoever in place for us to continue after. I think this guy was either completely inept or it was a sneaky way to throw him the question.

    I am now in a pretty desperate situation because I can't do any work and I was wondering if I should cancel my subscription and use another application.

    Can anyone form the community please help that Adobe are unable.

    1. If you are connected, choose quit from the Apple menu.
    2. If you connect from a list of names of users with pictures, click on the other.
    3. In the name field, type: root
    4. In the password field, type the password that you set when you configure the root user account.

    Once you connect to the Root account, try to launch Dreamweaver again.

    If you are able to launch the Root account, connect again and connect to the normal user account and try to launch and check.

    I've been buying and using Adobe Photoshop through many versions over the past decades. and I used to recommend it whenever I had the opportunity. Now I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.  I could say much more that this, using my parents taught me to not use words.

    Now, Adobe has their head in the clouds and does not care one iota of loyal customers.

    I had CS3 on a CS4 on another and CS6 on another machine. The hard drive on the machine with CS3 and had to be replaced.  I am trying to reinstall CS3 on the same computer, but Adobe won't let me activate it, even if I'm putting it on the computer, on which he was originally.  I paid for it, I went by the rules, and Adobe will not even for me.  And as far as I know, Adobe is released so far in the clouds has nothing but contempt for people who kept them in business for decades.

    What I would really like to do, it of pass the machine that originally had on that CS3 and CS3, put on the machine which has now the CS4 CS4, but I guess no one at Adobe case what I would like, even if I pay for the software and I have no intend to try to have it installed on more than one machine at a time.

    See the help of Activation & deactivation and follow the links, so you can disable your CS3 (via chat). Be sure to have your serial number available. Then you should be able to activate on the new drive.

    You should probably check with your predefined PDF printer they prefer. If they have an old PostScript RIP, they prefer no doubt PDF/X-1 a. Unfortunately, it flattens transparency and converts RGB to CMYK images using a default CMYK profile.

    You should look for a printer that has a new RIP Adobe PDF Print Engine. These rips can handle PDFs instead of PostScript. A printer using this workflow would probably prefer PDF/X-4, which keeps the RGB images with profiles of boards and live transparency until their RIP the Treaty.

    Choose the PDF / X-4: 2008 profile that supports the PDF / X-4: 2010 standard.
