Adobe Flash 11.3.300.257 install problem with SCCM

Hello

I use SCCM (currently 2007 R3) to install Flash in my organization for several years.  Always install the same way and always worked.  So far.

I create a distribution, installation to be "msiexec /i install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.msi /qn", create a publication, assign it to a collection and wait for the value.

On my two boxes of test (a Windows 7 full patches and a Windows XP fully patched), I get the same error.

Elevation by user Windows install this program ("010004B 5' - 'Install Flash') has no advertising"01022398 ". This program was launched. Please check the status of this program to determine if or not he has successfully completed the possible causes: the version of Windows Installer on the computer is less than version 2.0, or the Setup program does not support Windows Installer by high user of facilities of rights. Possible solutions: update the version of Windows Installer on the computer to the version 2.0 or later, or contact the Publisher of the software installation program in order to determine whether a version of the installer that supports each high rights user is available.

The program does not run, and Flash is not installed.

I know that windows install is fine, so it must be the msi file.

Anyone else having this problem?

Thank you

-eddy

Hi Eddy,.

I saw that in SCCM when the name of the msi was simply false.

Who has not changed with the new version of Flash to install_flash_player_11_active_x.msi (without the _32bit)?

    OS: Win 7 64 bit

    Browser: Firefox 13

    Flash Player: 11.3.300.257

Since the update to the version of Flash Player above, the flash doesn't work anymore, which means quite simply, anything related to flash works if you use Firefox. Flash still works with Chrome and IE 9.

Flash 11.3.300.257 is also working with Win XP / Firefox 13.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice, but it did not help. As far as I can see there are other people having trouble with the latest version of Flash in Firefox.

Is it possible to get the previous version of Flash Player running with Win 7 64 bit / Firefox 13? Would be great because I guess it will take some time until this problem is resolved.

The following procedure should work for you:

    Launch RealPlayer

Click on the RealPlayer icon in the upper left of the window and choose Preferences.

Download & recording, choose the left panel

Uncheck the box "Enable Web download & recording for these browsers installed"

    Click OK and close RealPlayer

    Restart Firefox

  • Adobe Flash Player stop asking to install.

I use windows 7 and Mozilla firefox, but this problem occurs even when I do not have a browser window open.

Adobe flash player quit asking to install. probably once a minute, I get a request (UAC) to allow adobe flash player to install. Even with no browser windows open. EVEN WHILE I'M WATCHING FLASH VIDEOS, he tells me to install it. He literally interupts everything I do, even when I'm not browsing the internet.

I currently completely uninstalled it AFAIK. I used uninstaller from adobe available on this site. So there is no flash player or shockwave player installed on my computer... continues to receive this request every minute or so.

    This is ridiculous.

I tried to run a virus scan, because it's the only thing that I could possibly think would this irritating, and it says that my computer is clean.

Is there some secret files somewhere that I have to delete? I think to delete the activex installation files. I get "entry in the service of installation ActiveX (AxInstSV) the report being run." in my event viewer, that seem to coincide with this problem.

I finally got it fixed but I'm not sure what fixed it.

    Here's what I did:

    Uninstalled all browsers.

    Uninstalled all things Adobe.

    Uninstalled Java

Delete whatever it be left behind (I left stuff browser well because I wanted to save my password and other).

disabled activexsvinst or something of service. The activex Installer service.

    Used CC cleaner clean registry

Made sure to delete almost everything in user/local/temp and other records (where java and adobe store stuff usually.) I don't know maybe want to be careful to make this cause, I don't know if there is any important files. Also some records will not let you delete it but it just means that you must go to the folder and select then delete. The only file that must be in one of the records in thosetemp is like fxsapidebug or something, in my opinion).

    restarted

    run CC cleaner.

    restarted

not sure if that helped, but I also used HIJACKTHIS and uninstalled some aides of browser that was not deleted. In particular, there was an adobe one I think. Can't really remember tho. Now that I look at hijackthis it again, he couldn't was this because the browsers help stuff is still there.

I also ran about 500000000 virus scans with several scanning programs and none of them does not detect it.

I reinstalled Mozilla and flash and have not had any problems since.

Hope this helps someone else with the same problem.

Unless you use the 64-bit browser, you will not need 64-bit plugins.  Just because Windows is 64-bit does not mean that everything has been installed it is.

Uninstall all Plugins Internet (RealPlayer, QuickTime, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave Player, Adobe Air, Microsoft Silverlight, K-lite codec pack, etc.) of your computer.

    Turn it back on.

Reset Internet Explorer default.  If used, reset the default values for Firefox.
[Note: If you don't have any other browsers installed at that time, taste.]  Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera are decent.

    Turn it back on.

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Delete everything is found.

    Turn it back on.

Install Adobe Flash Player (in Internet Explorer and Firefox separately) and Microsoft Silverlight.  Remember to UNCHECK all the boxes to install other software with them.

    Turn it back on.

Try whatever you were doing before.  Come back and let everyone know how things went.

    As I said, I have both 9.0 IE 32-bit and 64-bit IE 9.0 on a 64-bit Windows 7.0 system.

Which Adobe Flash Player I have to install?

Versions of the-32B and 64B?, or just 64 - b version works in both?

    Hello

Flash supports 32-bit and 64-bit player in a single, Universal Installer.  On a 64-bit operating system, Flash Player installs both and the client (for example the browser) selects the suitable for use.  If you use THE 32-bit, it will use 32-bit Flash Player.  If you are using IE 64 bit, it will use 64-bit Flash Player.

  • I have problems to download Adobe Flash 18, anyone who has a problem?

I have a problem downloading Adobe Flash 18. I get a little window that says "Installation will begin shortly." About 5 minutes later, I get an error message that says: "Error initializing Application." And when I click on the button finish down to the right, it takes me just back to Adobe to download again. Does anyone have a problem with that?

Dude, you're a few days too late. It's working now. It's Norton who was originally the majority of headaches including not to be able to get on the internet after my Adobe Flash 18 work. I tried 3 times to install the last update and its always stuck with Firefox 13.0.1. I had to go back to the 10.3 in Adobe. Does anyone know if there are several planned updates to fix this or something else I can do? Very frustrating. When I got the update works, it just slowed down and nothing was not working right. So far no problems with the Adobe 10.3.

Not need to reset Firefox Flash 10.3 works. For more information about the problem with the last updated Flash and other workarounds, see:

    Hi DanKao,

    You can try this document:

Error "... plugin is not responding. Google Chrome | Debug the Flash Builder project

    For Mozilla:

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/warning-unresponsive-plugin

Also, if there is no installed on the browser toolbar, try to uninstall it from the browser and check the performance.

If it works then well other wise, you can try the following steps:

    1. Uninstall Flash Player in Panel of--> programs (two Active X and Plugin)

    2. download uninstaller for Flash Player and Sockwave

    Flash Player Uninstaller

    Shockwave Player Uninstaller

    3. run the uninstaller for each of them.

4 delete the file Flash starting from the following locations:

    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed

    C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia

    C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe

    5. download Flash Player

    http://download.Macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player _ 15_active_x.exe

    http://download.Macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player _ 15_plugin.exe

    Download both and install it.

    6. Download Shockwave Flash:

    http://get.Adobe.com/Shockwave/otherversions

You must open this link in Firefox and download the full installer after choosing the operating system and then open the same link in Internet Explorer and download the full installer after choosing the operating system.

Hi, you can go to this site: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/. Right click on the Flash logo, settings,.
Then, disable hardware acceleration in display settings.

    See if that helps.

  • Do not have the correct version of Adobe Flash Player than internet Explorer installed FIR...

    Use: HP Deskjet F4480

Message: "HP Solution Center has determined that you don't have the correct version of Adobe Flash Player installed for Internet Explorer. You can easily download and install this application for Internet Explorer to... "followed by a link to the page update Flash

I first saw this message a couple a days ago, so I went and update of Flash Player using the link in the quoted error... fine & dandy until I went online and then remembered WHY I didn't have the latest version of Flash PLayer installed! I use a back on Flash version because the latest version crashes in Mozilla Firefox. If I update Flash Player for IE (that I don't use really), it gives me all the time that I use Firefox just Flash crash errors.

At this point, I suppose that there is an update for the HP Solution Center that started to search for a particular version of Flash Player?

I have team around and can find no current solution for this. Is there a way I can roll the Solution Center back then it stops looking for what version he thinks I need? Link? I'm a bit of a fix because I just installed new ink & can't calibrate or scan.

My Flash Player is version 10 because it is stable in Firefox.

There is unfortunately no way to roll back the installation of the software for Solution Center, unless you happen to have the disc that came with the printer or an earlier version of the software downloaded to your computer. The HP website only includes the latest version of the software. If you still had the drive, you can uninstall the software and reinstall from the disc, which would have the old version of the solution to this topic Center.

  • I have tried everything, but Adobe Flash Player did not finish install on...

my laptop HP Pavilion with Windows 7 64 bit Edition Home Premium.

I was using an old copy of Firefox v28 I hate the new version that they removed the major part of the 'goodies' we liked.  Adobe/Firefox started to complain and stop Flash when browsing and ask me to hit more buttons to continue and start charging Flash.

I finally had enough so upgraded Firefox to v35 because somewhere who was recommended as my browser was "obsolete." But Flash and the warnings stop does not stop with the update.

So I uninstalled Flash if she was still installed, downloaded a new copy of Adobe's Flash and tried to install.  It was last week and I still can't get it to complete the installation.  I get the 'RUN' then it stops and crashes.  The task manager says it has memory allocated but no CPU usage.

I repeated this process SEVERAL times with rotation on or off firewall, power of the anti-virus, etc. and still nothing.

Someone at - he a clue as to why?

    Thank you

Thanks, I think that did so. I read on the SETUP, but never could find exactly and he always sent me the
