Adobe Flash Player 11 50% install error: unknown error.

I recently installed Windows 7: Ultimate edition (32-bit) and it seemed I had no flash drive so I went to download the most recent flash player and it goes through the process without fault until it hits 50% it fails and says "error: unknown error" I tried troubleshooting witch, he sent me, but none of it works. I would really like to help with this problem in the week. Thank you!

Processor: Intel (r) Pentium D CPU 2.80GHz 2.79 GHz 9E0

RAM: 3.00 GB

32-bit operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate

No flash whatsoever.

Firefox 11.0

Just change the 64 to 32:

http://download.Macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/Current/install_flash_player_32bit.exe

I had the same problem, but the full installer has worked for me.  There are at least another notification thread the same.  I think that there is something wrong with the Adobe servers tonight.

  • Adobe Flash Player is not installed in Firefox?

Adobe Flash Player reaches 28% install and says it loses the internet connection. I try again and it immediately gives me the same message and it cancels the connection. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection! Any suggestions?

After the download is complete and you launch the installer from Adobe, or even the small download fails?

If the regular installer does not work, try the Installer "complete". It is available on this page:

In the first table, find the row corresponding to "browser plugin", and you can use either the EXE or the MSI installer.

To ensure that the old version is removed, please close the tabs that are using Flash, or quit Firefox, during the update.

  • Adobe Flash Player will not install.

I tried several times to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, but it WON'T install.  It downloads fine, but when you click on install, load the Adobe's Installation file (window), but that he was doing the lock of my computer.  Why?  I had 13. What is installed and it has worked well, but kept getting a message that I needed to update the flash player, but the computer will not be installed.  He installed the other updates very well, so what gives.  When you try to install, the window is displayed, but does not install and the computer crashes.  I DO not close the Explorer window and even updated my IE from 10 to 11.  Still will not install.

Another problem I have is that the ANT downloader will not work either.  I click on it to download a file will not download YouTube downloader, but when you try to use it, it says that it is disabled.  Yet, when you go to "Manage Add on", and clicking it, it shows the Ant.com downloader is indeed enabled, but it will not work too.  They are linked, or do I have to have two separate problems?

Uninstall Flash player and re-install the latest version of download and run the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller.

  • Keep being told you need to install Adobe Flash Player, by Facebook, install every day, I am running Windows 7, 64-bit, how can I avoid this?

Running Windows 7, 64-bit, using IE 9, Facebook games keep telling me every morning I do it to install Adobe Flash Player, and all goes well, that day, then the next day, get the same message, is there a permanent fix for this somewhere?

It could be related to ActiveX filtering, too. Adobe Flash seems to work on IE only with ActiveX filtering disabled (I also have these messages, they never appear on Chrome or other browsers who do not share this security feature).

  • Adobe Flash Player 11.6 installed but will not stay? What is the cause of the problem? F

I install Adobe Flash Player 11.6, remained on during about a day, but started coming out. I've been through troubleshooting it and told me I had to recharge it. First to unload the Active X I did, then I reinstalled Adobe Flash Player, but it still does not work... What must I do to make it work?

Adobe Flash Player is already preinstalled with Windows 8. Updates to it should be done through Windows Update.

    Hello

In the " Shockwave Player Help " site, I used the "Check now" button: the response is "sorry, Shockwave Player is either not installed or disabled..." " ?

But I'm sure that the software is there (as an object) I.E.11 AND mangement says "Shockwave Flash Object... is enabled...". "" 32-bit and 64-bit"!

I used a site that uses Adobe Flash Player and as soon as I try to see a picture of special card, I received a message saying that "I have no Adobe Flash Player installed or it is no longer there and so forth... ». The same thing happened with other sites using the same technique.

I never had problem before today with this software... The problem started in February or March of this year. Yet it worked on Safari, but not in E.I. 11, but now, it does not at all, even that is 11 and Safari!

Finally, I do not understand why the reason and, of course, I need help...

  • Re: Adobe Flash Player won't install

    Hello

I need help with flash player - I tried to upgrade it was crashing on Web sites, downloaded the latest version, started the installation, but when it got to the final installation screen it just hangs.  After 10 minutes, I closed the window and get an Adobe Flash is not an answer message and close the program or wait for the program to respond.

I followed the troubleshooting instructions and checked the system requirements - all good

    Off to Kaspersky

Uninstalled (think I got all the files but not 100% course - so maybe that could be a problem) and restarted

Tried to reinstall the same problem.

Installed the plugin Shockwave - same problem

I'm running Windows 7 on HP Pavilion dv5, 32-bit and checked the system requirements and everything is ok.

    I use Firefox 10.0.2

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks in advance

Could you please try the following: there are a few steps you need to perform after the uninstall.

How to do a clean install of the Flash Player? (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315)

  • Adobe Flash Player does not install on Firefox 5 for me.

I tried the two installation via the finder plugin and manually download and install the .exe from the adobe Web site, but the plugin of flash/shockwave never gets listed on the list of plugins for Firefox. I also tried to uninstall, reboot and installation, but the flash still does not work on me for Firefox (although it works fine on IE).

There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash; an ActiveX version for IE only and a plug-in version for most of the other browsers like Firefox. On a Windows system, you must always update both individually.

    1. With Firefox, click the direct download link below and SAVE the download on your desktop, so you can find it later: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
    2. When the download is complete, close Firefox (file > button OR exit Firefox > exit)
    3. Click or double-click the file that you just saved on your desktop
      • In the install window that appears, select the check box to the left of "I read and...» "to place a check mark in the box of
      • The button 'Install' in the lower right corner is now highlighted, click it.
      • Installation is quick.
    4. Launch Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
