I thought to put the D6300 in Bridge mode and connect the TC via a ethernet cable but my netgear router is kept in a metal TV armoire or I asked myself if I put on the floor and used to extend my existing wireless which is a little spotty on the floor, but I didn't know if the connection on the hard drive would be too slow.   I have a Compaq presario with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. A few years after an update of Windows, the status of battery in the systray ICON ceased to display the amount of time left on the battery and it stopped display the symbol of the AC power cord when it was being turned off of the AC adapter.  If I remove the battery, then the cord appears.  Put it back in the slot and the rope faints and I have the same shape of rectangle get you if the computer is running on battery only.  Any ideas how I can get the cord to display when AC power feeds the laptop.

  Laptop computer should turn on without the battery when it is connected directly to the power source. As Techgod said it could be a hardware problem, it is possible that the problem is with the battery.

  Hello. Can you try disabling the AirPlay password? In addition, your TV has a (possibly optical) audio output which you could feed the surround system? Or does have a HDMI with ARC port that would work with the system? Turn off the TV and receiver control in ATV could make work more happily with surround sound.

  Is 'this ' Ethernet cable one? You have access to the network device (modem or router) that the other end of this cable connects to?

  Generally speaking, you need start a "fresh" installation or the AirPort base station when you connect it to another ISP or router. I seriously doubt that you can "just plug" and it will work without doing it. Here are the basic steps to use when you change ISPS.

  This process is correct. After disconnecting the AC adapter the laptop switches to the battery power and uses the Toshiba power saver mode the power created for the use of the battery.

• I have a question where I listed two wifi networks. It is not in use and Im trying to find out how to remove parameters from the airport.

  I used routers of the airport for a few years now. I upgraded my main router at a Time capsule and my old Airport Extreme and Airport Express works online as sub routers to keep the good signal throughout my home. All work well, but I always have what is the former name of wifi in wifi settings and would like to delete it so that it shows only the new name of the wifi network and the network of comments.

  On a Mac that you used to connect wirelessly in the past...

  Open System Preferences (gear on the dock icon)

  Open Network

  Click WiFi on the left panel to select

  Click Advanced in the bottom right of the next window

  Here you can see a list of networks that your Mac has signed in the past.

  Click on the name of a plu network that you no longer need to highlight

  Click on the - (button at the bottom of the list to remove the name less)

  Do the same for other networks that you no longer need

  Click OK

  Click apply in the next window that appears

  Close the windows and restart your Mac.

  Then, perform the same steps on all of your other Macs

  Wait a minute

  Turn on the main airport and let it run for a minute
