  Ok

  using Premier Pro on my desktop and love it. However, it is not using my rocket card.

  That's what I've done so far for downloads:

  1. download CS5.5

  2. download the latest updates for CS5.5 of any of the programs by going to help, updates

  3. Download last (9/12 update for PP) for the first Pro 5.5.1 to: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=98 & platform = Macintosh

  4. download RED EPIC importer to: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/redepic_importer/

  5 downloaded the LATEST DRIVER of the ROCKET: 1.4.16

  EPIC footage plays very well with images R1 in PP as well as Recommissioning Pro beta 3... EVERYTHING works fine... With the EXCEPTION I can't get any acceleration of rocket in the FIRST...

  Questions or places Posible that I screwed up:

  1. should I also download RED ADOBE CS4 Installer page Support RED?

  2. is the LAST ROCKET actually taken 1.4.16 firmware supported - on most threads, I hear people talking about firmware Rocket 1.4.7

  FINALLY: perhaps I need to activate the card of the rocket? I went on settings of the project; and other places to see if there is a menu drop down to activate the map of the rocket, but I can't find anything... I know I have to be in the project under general settings, and then under video rendering and playback... but this box is greyed out and won't let me NOT change... it is the default software of Mercury playback engine...

  ANSWER: thanks to David McGavran and Steve Sherrick Forum Reduser for the ANSWER...

  SIMPLE: go into your project window: top left area... then right click ANY R3d file... and select parameters Source... go to the bottom of the new window and choose Activate Rocket... the rocket card is then activated for all clips and chronology...

• Red Rocket initialization failed

  I started a new project this morning using Red R3D media and found the 3K 2:1 R3D media playback quite rough and then seen a red X in the bottom right of the first CS 5.5.

  Event: Failed to initialize rocket

  Could not initialize the REDRocket (s).  1 request, initialized 0.  SDK 1 reports should be consulted.

  State of device 0 returned: former driver firmware, driver available: 0.0.0.0 (required 1.3.5.0), firmware available 0.0.0.0 (required 1.1.10.1).

  I use the 1.4.7.0 driver and firmware 1.1.14.38

  V487 RedCine-X (Win7/64) sees the card and everything smoothly with it.  Windows7 Control Panel sees very well (and the driver/firmware).

  Any suggestions as to why first 5.5.0 cannot use the card?  Any help would be really appreciated, I need to get a jump on this work.

  Hey Buddy,

  I think that this special icon you want to say is stored on the local HARD disk. After formatting the entire HARD drive I think that it of deleted now and you can't do anything :(

  You should ask a friend who has the same model. In my view, that your friend can give you the icon again, but another solution isn't known to me.

  Help please! After using Adobe reader software only cd-rom and try to convert the images to save elsewhere - my computer seems to have been taken over by Adobe. I can't access a lot of my files - just get a message from Adobe saying file not supported or damaged.

  The desktop icons have especially taken over by Adobe.

  Cannot access that browser (Firefox) by going through "Gadgets Google Desktop" online.

  Have tried to uninstall and re-install Adobe, won't do it anymore - and can't access system restore.

  Tried everything several hours (maybe made things worse!).

  There is a message of standing Adobe with box error message on the start page.

  Wrong - obviously tried to restart etc.

  Very worried and do not want to have to pay Adobe for the privilege to unravel, he.

  Have no Flash Player at the moment and impossible to install.

  @johnwneg, make sure that when installing FB Burrito, you:

  (1) run the installer as administrator.

  (2) select English International rather than NA English.

  I'm having a problem with Adobe prelude. I shot some interviews last weekend and tried the app iPad prelude Live Logger to construct markers in real time during interviews. I have been very wary of the camera (5Diii) and iPad to exact date/time/time zone schedule.

  I expected it would be easy as a prelude to import the identifier "metadata" iPad newspaper, but I discovered prelude bad reads the file creation Date. In fact, I have no idea where he is at the time of creation of.

  I confirmed that prelude does not display the correct values for created/modified Date/time.

I have multiple monitors, but I do not see the dialog box on any of these screens and I don't see anywhere on the taskbar. At this point, if I try to click anywhere in the application, it gives me a sound of ding as if the dialog box was opened. Then I have to use the Task Manager to close the application. Restart the PC does not help. I even uninstalled Creative Director Cloud prelude, rebooted, and then reinstalled the application, and the problem persists. Prelude used to work just fine for me until about a week ago. Help, please. Thank you!

  As mentioned by you in other post, it's resolved by pressing Windows key + left or Windows Key + right to restore the location of a window of the application to its default value.

  -Very well, so I just solved my own problem. I noticed that if I try to ingest video prelude on a different Windows user account, the problem moved, led me to believe that I lived a matter of preferences of the Windows user. The solution was to press Windows key + left or Windows Key + right to restore the location of a window of the application to its default value. Problem solved!

  There will be an update to Lightroom 4. The only way that you can work with your raw D750 files is to use the autonomous and free DNG Converter to create DNG copies. If you want to be able to work on the NEF files, then you must upgrade to Lightroom 5. Lightroom does not use plug in Camera Raw. everything is part of the Lightroom program. If you want to stay up-to-date with Lightroom, you must follow the path of update/upgrade. This means than buying each new major version of Lightroom or you subscribe to plan creative cloud.
