Adobe Reader 11.0.0.9 says don't not on start up.

Adobe Reader 11.0.0.9 not responding at startup, resulting in a program crash. This was also past when you try to print. I tried to uninstall the program and re - install with no luck. I also tried to use the uninstall utility and reinstall Adobe Reader 11.0.0.9 and it will always be down a few seconds after the start.

Any ideas what could be the cause of the problem?

Are you by chance in an environment of business behind a firewall?  If so, is the access to cloud.acrobat.com allowed?
