  I have a high spec machine with a SSD - my hardware is fine, but Muse is incredibly slow. Resize the width of the page to test the reactivity takes 2-5 seconds every time. It is not good either.

  I imported a lot of assets of a model on a page PSD - it is what is causing the problem? I have Photoshop generating assets, but this does not yet fix the performance lag / slow.

• Why is today so SLOW Muse and glitch?

  Hey guys... I you LOVE Muse, however, in the last two months, he has been INCREDIBLY slow and glitch. Any Web site that I opened, five pages or 50 pages (or even a whole new website empty with nothing on it), Muse is STILL so slow, taking up to 3 seconds to respond to a command or a simple click.  It seems to be the worst on the home screen 'Plan '.  I use several new machines with Intel quad core processor and range from 8 to 32G of RAM and installed pro graphics cards.   Photoshop, InDesign and even heavy Premier Pro apps running beautifully on all my machines.  For some reason, nothing seems to make smoother Muse.

  Is it just me, or it seems to get worse and worse (community)?  If the problem persists, such a great platform and concept will become completely useless as the speed and fluidity that designers and developers need to circulate.

  If everyone is struggling with a slow program, was there something that you do to solve this problem? I don't know that a reinstall would be useful since I've tested on several pro machines. I know that's also not the 'sites' I work with, as it's the same thing with a new file with only one or two simple pages.  IM so disgusted that I can handle only a few minutes in the tool until I have want to scream.

  Note also as a foot, I don't check all updates from Muse, Air versions, etc. are installed.

  Everyone starts from the assumption that all the others have their experience. If this was true in this case, there are literally hundreds of thousands of messages from other users of Muse here, explaining that they had the same experiences.

  In the vast majority of cases performance bugs depend on a set of very specific circumstances. In the past the worst performance bugs that we have fixed required very rare and specific formatting to a menu widget used on a master page or a storage of assets all connected on a network volume, it's is no longer available (on specific versions of Windows), or other apparently trivial habits of use.

  The most effective way to go at the bottom of a performance problem is to share your .muse file (and in some cases, all related assets) with us. With an explanation of what specific operations are slow to perform.

  In the case where slow performance is not due to a performance bug that requires a very specific usage model, what happens in general, is that Muse has been pushed well beyond its intended use. We have seen cases of customers who came up to 2 GB in size. Projects of this scale must be broken down and managed as a set of micro-sites linked together, rather than a monolithic site.   A site I could do in a single day, takes at least a week to do, because the software doesn't work perfectly, even with my best laptop (this is fantastic).

  I use Adobe Muse 2014.2 to build a Chinese site. The audience of the site is mostly people in mainland China, and I use a server in Hong Kong. Recently, I just tested the site, however, it has been extremely slow loading. In the end, I discovered that the cause of the slowness of loading was due to a file called "open - without: n3:all.js" which was loaded from adobe InDesign.

  Because many sites are blocked in China, I think that Adobe Web Fonts (or typekit) is also blocked so cannot load properly, causing the entire site to slow down.

  Is it possible to disable all webfonts in Muse and to prevent the loading of this file my site?

  Or is there a way I can host this file on my own server?

  Muse only includes Web fonts on the page if it is used. It seems that you have already removed the police from the page, so I can't tell where it was used, but even it have applied to a block of empty text would result in the police being included in the page.

  Update of the muse do not delete (.muse) Web site files, I guess somehow open recent list does not appear.

  I'm sure if you go to the place where your files are saved, you will be able to find them. In case you don't remember not the location and then search for the file with the extension .muse, search in windows Explorer (for windows) or the Finder, Spot (for MAC)

  Double click on the file will open in Muse.
