AF:query with table

I use the af: query with table to create a query, but the funny page, is in charge of the query page, the data contained in af:table are not fulfilled automatically. any idea, what the problem is?

Rgds!

Hello
Do you use ViewCriteria to build your af:query with table, if yes, go to your ViewObject, then select your viewCriteria and click edit, and then open the data of the user interface tab, then check the query automatically .

  • Search page based on query with Table on Layershift ADF Panel does not work correctly

    Hello

    I'm on 11.1.2.4 jdev and deployed my application on glassfish 3.1.2. I've hosted this application on Layershift externally.

    I created a search page based on query ADF with table Panel. All fields of research are working fine on weblogic Server integrated and my deployment local glassfish.

    However, on Layershift, when I enter some criteria of research in certain fields, it does not record.

    UPDATE, it seems that the problem is with the fields which are of the "String" ie. Name. Fields of data type Integer and Date seems fine.

    any ideas please?

    Thank you

    kdario, you're right, ViewCriteria does not use the correct syntax for mysql for the concatenation.

    The generated sql statement looks like this.

    SELECT * FROM (select student_id, student_name, from  student) QRSLT WHERE ( ( (UPPER(student_name) LIKE UPPER('%' || 'Per' || '%') ) ) )

    as DB MySql does not support | (double pipe sign), its sql causing failure.

    in order to support |, mysql requires to change the sql mode setting in the file my.cnf (on linux) in the

    # Set the SQL mode to strict
    sql-mode="PIPES_AS_CONCAT,STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"

    After setting this parameter, its working fine now.

  • Pagination of the table in a query with table Panel

    Hello

    I need to implement paging in a table as long as the results of a query which makes the user, the table that the query is run has several records, 40000 or more.

    I searched but I can't find a way to apply what I, some links show me how to insert the pagination on the part of the table, but if I only do when I want to see a different page, let's say 500 or 1000, it takes too long to display the data of that specific page. I'm guessing it will retrieve all the data from the query and read it all so it can show what I want.

    Another way is to control the amount of data to be returned from the view object (VO), but I am unable to perform paging efect component table in my file jspx somehow.

    I think I should change my VO both my component so I can get the effect I want, but I don't know how. Properties that I need to change to achieve this.

    THK

    If I set the af: non paginated table mode the number of pages do not appear.

    Then maybe you can use the code from this blog to do it manually:

    http://www.Ateam-Oracle.com/adventures-in-WebCenter-skinning-aftable-with-custom-pagination/

    The only optimization that I think is missing is somehow when I select the page from the list of results, will retrieve only the data on this page.

    Yes and for this you must range Paging in VO (so the result of the query may be limited by the size of the range).

    But, as I mentioned in my first reply, range of paging is bug in 12.1.3 then maybe the same applies to 11.1.1.7

  • [JDev12.1.2, ADF] "Query with table Panel": how to auto - close the query Panel when the search ends?

    Hallo,

    I would like the Panel request auto - closes when the search is complete.

    This is to give all the space for the result in the talbe.

    How can I achieve this?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Federico,

    to do this, replace the queryListener one leave this point of a bean method. In this method, you run the processQuery by default and after that set the attribute to disclose the af:query component to false and ppr.

    {} public void processQuery (QueryEvent queryEvent)

    The generated QueryListener replaced by this method

    #{bindings. MyAllCriteriaQuery.processQuery}

    QueryDescriptor qdes = queryEvent.getDescriptor ();

    print or save the view criteria

    System.out.println ("NAME" + qdes.getName ());

    appeal by default query event

    {invokeQueryEventMethodExpression ("#{bindings.", QueryEvent "}") MyAllCriteriaQuery.processQuery};

    Object UIComponent = queryEvent.getSource () (UIComponent);

    Riq RichQuery = object (RichQuery);

    riq.setDisclosed (false);

    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .addPartialTarget (riq);

    }

    Private Sub (string expression, QueryEvent queryEvent) invokeQueryEventMethodExpression {}

    FacesContext fctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

    ELContext elctx = fctx.getELContext ();

    ExpressionFactory efactory = fctx.getApplication () .getExpressionFactory ();

    MethodExpression = me efactory.createMethodExpression (elctx, expression, Object.class, new class [] {QueryEvent.class});

    me. Invoke (elctx, new Object() {queryEvent});

    }

    and on the page

    model = ' #{bindings. " MyAllCriteriaQuery.queryModel}"queryListener =" #{QueryTestBean.processQuery} ' "

    queryOperationListener = ' #{bindings. " "MyAllCriteriaQuery.processQueryOperation}" resultComponentId =": resId1" / >

    You can replace it by initialQueryOverriden = true binary: display executed before the result of the query in a search engine

  • Possible BUG: af:query with several LOVs throws bitIndex exception

    Hi all

    I use the af:query for the search component and I get constantly "bitIndex < 0:-1 error" when searching on a LOV (by typing the value in the part of the LOV not using inputtext does not popup LOV).

    Installation program:

    I use Jdev 11.1.2.1 with JDEVADF_11.1.2.1.0_GENERIC_110907.2314.6081.

    Using the schema HR, I created the entity departments and a Department display object based on the entity.

    I created 2 objects of basis for the LOVs SQL view (not from entities not):

    1. view LOV departments - select * from departments
    2 view of the LOV locations - select * from places

    The two views of Lov were created using the wizard with all the default values.

    In my opinion main departments (based on the entity), I created 2 LOVs for LocationId and for DepartmentId.

    The LOV for DepartmentId returns 2 attributes, DepartmentId and DepartmentName both are mapped to the corresponding attributes in the main view of Department. (I did using the popup "Edit the list of values", in the section 'List return values').

    Finally, I dragged the "all searchable attributes" from the control panel of data to a test page, creating a group of ADF query with table

    The error:

    I type a valid service id in the LOV DepartmentId within the research section and I get the "bitIndex < 0:-1 error.» No results are returned.

    When the server running with - Djbo.debugoutput = console I see the following error messages:

    Note:
    The search works as expected if I only have a LOV attached to the main view. (if I don't have the Department LOV attached as described above everything works fine)
    If both LOVs of DepartmentLOV and LocationsLOV return a single value, the departmnetId and the locationId, without mapping any additional return attributes research as planned as well.

    This is test case the simplest I could create to reproduce the error I see in our code.

    use of EXTERNAL JOINS as follows

    where w.productionadviceno = z.productionadviceno (+)

    above is a left outer join. A LEFT OUTER JOIN is a JOIN operations that allow you to specify a join clause. He keeps the lines without correspondence of the first (left) table, join them with a NULL row in the form of the second table (right).

  • SDO_RELATE within PL/SQL query with rownum clause runs slowly on 12 c - works great on 10 g

    Hello

    I use the database 12.1.0.2 with a node 2 RAC on Windows.

    I am struck by a really weird performance problem with a particular query.  Bear with me while I try to explain...

    I have a chart with lines 30 sdo_geometry million, in 7 partitions with a local partitioned spatial index divided.  Called BIG_PARTITIONED_TABLE for this example.

    I query the table to search for one line with a geometry that is equal to the geometry of my request.  In this case I use sdo_relate with "mask = equal".  Instantly returns:

    SQL> select id, geometry
      2  from       BIG_PARTITIONED_TABLE o
      3  where      sdo_relate(o.geometry, sdo_geometry(2002, 2157, NULL, SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1, 2, 1),
      4     SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(604853.595, 692379.864, 604879.046, 692350.272)), 'mask=equal') = 'TRUE'
      5  and rownum = 1;

            ID
    ----------
    GEOMETRY(SDO_GTYPE, SDO_SRID, SDO_POINT(X, Y, Z), SDO_ELEM_INFO, SDO_ORDINATES)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    2.5405E+12
    SDO_GEOMETRY(2002, 2157, NULL, SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1, 2, 1), SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(604853.595, 692379.864, 604879.046, 692350.272))

    Elapsed: 00:00:00.10

    But if I put the same query in PL/SQL, so it takes 21 seconds:

    SQL> declare
      2     l_id number;
      3     l_geom sdo_geometry;
      4     l_window_geom sdo_geometry;
      5  begin
      6     l_window_geom := sdo_geometry(2002, 2157, NULL, SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1, 2, 1),
      7             SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(604853.595, 692379.864, 604879.046, 692350.272));
      8
      9     select id, geometry
    10     into l_id, l_geom
    11     from    BIG_PARTITIONED_TABLE o
    12     where   sdo_relate(o.geometry, l_window_geom, 'mask=equal') = 'TRUE'
    13     and rownum = 1;
    14
    15  end;
    16  /

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    Elapsed: 00:00:21.13

    If I remove the "rownum = 1", then it returns instantly:

    SQL> declare
      2     l_id number;
      3     l_geom sdo_geometry;
      4     l_window_geom sdo_geometry;
      5  begin
      6     l_window_geom := sdo_geometry(2002, 2157, NULL, SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1, 2, 1),
      7             SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(604853.595, 692379.864, 604879.046, 692350.272));
      8
      9     select id, geometry
    10     into l_id, l_geom
    11     from    BIG_PARTITIONED_TABLE o
    12     where   sdo_relate(o.geometry, l_window_geom, 'mask=equal') = 'TRUE';
    13

    15  /

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    Elapsed: 00:00:00.03

    If using sdo_equal instead of sdo_relate and keep the "rownum = 1", then it returns instantly.

    SQL> declare
      2     l_id number;
      3     l_geom sdo_geometry;
      4     l_window_geom sdo_geometry;
      5  begin
      6     l_window_geom := sdo_geometry(2002, 2157, NULL, SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1, 2, 1),
      7             SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(604853.595, 692379.864, 604879.046, 692350.272));
      8
      9     select id, geometry
    10     into l_id, l_geom
    11     from    BIG_PARTITIONED_TABLE o
    12     where   sdo_equal(o.geometry, l_window_geom) = 'TRUE'
    13     and rownum = 1;
    14

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    Here is a comparison of the plans to explain.  First, here's the good thing, that is using the spatial index (BIG_PARTITIONED_TABLE_SPIND):

    select id, GEOMETRY
    FROM
    BIG_PARTITIONED_TABLE O WHERE SDO_EQUAL(O.GEOMETRY, :B1 ) = 'TRUE'
    AND ROWNUM = 1

    I am struck this issue during testing of upgrade 10.2.0.5 to 12.1.0.2.  The query works perfectly on 10g - we note only that this question on 12 c.

    I can't use sdo_equal as the real mask that we want is equal + dommagescausdspar + covers.  I'm just using equal here to simplify the test.

    I use "rownum = 1" because I want to just the first result.  In practice I can rewrite probably is a FOR LOOP, I get out after the first result, but that seems all just awful.

    Any ideas?  If anyone has seen anything like this before?  Its an optimizer delivers really so I'm going to cross post the SQL Forum after a certain time, but thought I would post it here first.

    Thank you

    John

    Hi John,.

    Can you please try the following before your slow queries event?

    "ALTER session set events ' trace 54669 name context forever."

    Hello

    The process of database have a file handle for the data file - this remains even when the file is deleted (it disappears from the normal file system navigation)

    You can see if you have lsof installed

    just try

    lsof | grep datafile_name

    Once the database is restarted and the released file handle so you will not be able to do this any more - and in fact you will get errors when it can't find the file.

    See you soon,.

    1. I dono how simply we can convert rows to columns

    2. for root = 1683691, there are double NAM and RAC in lonet table... ideally these data should not be there, but since its here, we can take a MAX so that it returns a value

    Once again my thought process is that we join the activity and 4 alias table lonet.

    ask for your help in this

    Hello

    This is called pivoting.

    Here's a way to do it:

    WITH relevant_data AS

    (

    SELECT a.project_wid, a.project_no, b.SID

    , l.name AS lonet_name, l.entryvalue

    Activity one

    LEFT OUTER JOIN lonet l.root = a.project_wid l

    )

    SELECT *.

    OF relevant_data

    PIVOT (MAX (entryvalue)

    FOR lonet_name IN ("GAC" IN the gac

    "NAM" AS nam

    'BAG' IN the bag

    "RAC" AS cars

    )

    )

    ORDER BY project_wid

    ;

    Output:

    PROJECT_WID PROJECT_NO GAC NAM BAG RAC NAME

    ----------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------

    1683691 12 - 10007 121 LDE LME LCE LKE

    1686296 12 - 10009 123 QAC QAQ

    Thank you for this comment.

    I had created a fresh scheme for publication but the jboss was still pointing to the old.

    I've updated this pointers in file @ /server/ atg atg - ds - ds.xml. Worked like a charm!

    If 2nd EDITION solved.

    The QUESTION 1 depended on question 2. Once I ran publishing and completed the full deployment on ICC, 1st edition got resolved.

    Thanks to shaik and Grando

    Sorry, it is not clear what you want.

    If the table contains only "Ben", then you can get the output above using a query like this:

    SELECT name. '' my name is' ' AS name_plus

    FROM tbl_name;

    I hope that answers your question.

    If this isn't the case, please post a small example data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements), and the results you want from this data.

    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.

    Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).
